unreasonably excited about mid-80s auto focus cameras this evening
#its been a long time since i was this excited about cameras#been pent up in my head for days so im now chattering excitedly at the basement wall cuz it needed to get out#just love old cameras#esp from periods where new tech was coming around and no one knew the best way to use it so everyone was just trying shit#lenses with big lumps on bottom from mounting motors or even whole af units in there#cameras that had auto everything but also still had manual wind for reasons#so you had to strap a motor the size of the camera to the bottom to get motor wind#cameras with bugeyes to use as infrared rangefinders cuz doing it through the lens was hard or not possible for pocket cams#just so much cool stuff makes me so excited#bouncing around in my head like a bouncy ball
