so . . . if you played High Isle, what did you think of it?
#[ooc]#I'm curious bc I'm having an epiphany and I'm wondering if it's just me or if others have like. the same experience.#tbh it felt kinda lackluster for me except for a few side quests and *maybe* a story moment or two#I could blame it on the fact that I ran through it in two days instead of taking my time but the thing is#I did that with summerset two and it's my absolute favorite lol. and I did it with elsweyr and greymoor and still had fun.#(too** wtf brain)#I don't know how to explain it but it just felt super predictable to me??#literally the first moment I met [redacted] I called them as the traitor lmao#the story's just. kinda weak I guess. it just feels empty like there was so much more that could have been done.#and I hate to say it but I felt the same way about blackwood too. deadlands livened things up a bit but even that felt incomplete in a way#eso dlc storylines are kinda getting repetitive to me. ever since they started the whole year adventure format.#elsweyr was the first of those and it was good#greymoor was good but not as good as elseweyr#and the past two just didn't feel the same for me idk. it might just be me.#there's still lots I love about them don't get me wrong but I feel like there was a quality drop since they changed the dlc format#at the very least deadlands was fun and brought something more unique to the table out of the last four major non-dungeon dlc
