As a plain old USA inhabitant, whose only deep exposure into Eurovision was mostly that Will Ferrell movie...
Ngl, people getting all invested in this drama is entertaining seeing the relative consensus for the Finnish performance and the fact a few people looked at that singer and got Remus vibes... I checked it out.
And yeah, I'm here for it. :,D
#esc really ADORES spectacle - but i can dig it just from cultural osmosis#as someone who loves the industrial guitar chugging sound - that was a huge plus#(too bad wide swatches of the industrial scene are outspoken shitheads)#(i bet there's decent enough musicians in that genre - just kinda annoying the 'oh i LOVE this sound' & 'gdi are they basically n@zis?')
