Throwback Thursday with Dame Rose Elizabeth Tyler of Hogwarts and various members of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Kitty Horde and her MIA Brother Sir Merlin Fuzzybutt and her mom, my daughter Jen. Rose is an Emotional Support Animal who also happens to have anxiety which is why you’ll sometimes see pictures of her wearing clothes. Like a thundershirt, tight clothing can calm an animal but you don’t want to leave it on too long. Animals need to groom for many reasons. Once you take off the dress or shirt it’s important to brush your kitty. Or at the very least run your hands over your baby. Massages are always good because it does several things. First you become familiar with how your companion feels so you know when things are different and you need to see a vet. Second it’s a good bonding technique. I start at the head and move down the body. It also allows you to learn what your cat will and will not allow. Head pets from the front? Check? From the side?
