     “Every FREAKING day with this stuff lately-” This Earth, that Earth, she was sick of keeping track who was on what. The day she could go back to being a friendly neighborhood superhero would be a real nice breath of normality compared to all this dimension stuff.

   The walking electrode was INFURIATED at this mocking request. Was this some kind of a joke to this guy?! He was supposed to be the superhero, and yet here he was, jabbing a bear, poking fun at a condition Max never asked for. 

   But that’s not what Max was thinking about. No. He was too busy thinking about how he was going to have a lot of fun watching this prick scream and convulse from just how HARD HE’S GONNA FRY THIS CREEP! He could feel his very veins surge with anger. 

   “Oh I’ll help you out alright; Why don’t I give you enough juice to charge your phone ‘n’ THEN SOME!” And with a yell of aggression, numerous bolts of electricity were rocketed in the arachnid’s direction.

As hurt as he is, Peter doesn’t let up. Bounding from surface to surface, dodging on the defense. Was he seeing things? Or was this really Norman, back at it? He thought he’d killed him, thought he’d killed Harry’s dad. Was he relieved? No, no way. Not with Goblin back and causing havoc. He’d barely ever come close to beating him, and when he DID, he ended up killing him.

It would have been smart to look, confirm that Goblin– Norman– was dead instead of just assuming, but he hadn’t. He had fled, couldn’t bear the thought that he was a murderer and couldn’t tell anyone. He’d struggled with the knowledge of his crime for almost a year now, and to be ambushed out of nowhere by the cause of 99% of his problems?

He couldn’t tell if he was mad or relieved.

I really need to see a therapist if I survive this.

“As long as you’re out causing halloween panic in DECEMBER, I’m going to keep getting back up.”

              ♙  THE GOBLIN WAS GETTING TIRED.    though it wasn’t a   physical   malady that was causing it. it was the fact that the spider kept getting up bomb after bomb and the amount thrown to him. the spider had to   PERISH   for killing his father. that would be welcome revenge enough. as the two of them rumbled their way throughout the city on a   DARK   and what was once a peaceful december evening, the stress hit a peak. 

and it was becoming more and more ridiculous. the goblin spun around as his father’s name was uttered, a   DANGEROUS   scowl coming upon the mask.  TWO PUMPKIN BOMBS    fly upward into his hands, throwing one just ahead of the spider and the other just behind. he had  NO PLACE   to go to avoid.

A sigh escapes the cop, as he responds, a bit of annoyance in his voice. However, as he nears the end, there’s soon a note of respect in it.

“That wall-crawlin’ creep's a pain in th’ass sometimes...’Specially with all those stupid jokes he’s got. I ain’t his biggest fan, but I will say dis: He takes care’a business. S’like he’s got this big responsibility to th’city when it’s our job ta protect it instead’a his. He don’t ask for a thing when doin’ it, either. He just...does it. That surprises me, considerin’ he looks pretty young ta be a superhero. Gotta say...M’impressed.”
