Honestly, I love the silly things the DOA can do... Malpractices weird body automation... Innards is using stomach acid as a projectile weapon...
On the otherside... Blade is the worst. No idea why Drake and Hannibal put up with him, he is 100% too much of a loose cannon and will just as likely attack them as he would an enemy...

Ernst Stavro Blofeld
Tumblr media
James Bond's iconic arch nemesis Ernst Stavro Blofeld has appeared in several James Bond films played by several actors:
"From Russia with Love" (1963) Blofeld is not directly shown in this film, but his presence is implied as the unseen mastermind behind the plot.
"Thunderball" (1965) Actor: Anthony Dawson (physically portrayed), Eric Pohlmann (voice) Blofeld is revealed as the primary antagonist, operating from the shadows.
"You Only Live Twice" (1967) Donald Pleasence is perhaps the most famous Blofeld, known for his portrayal with a facial scar and a white cat.
"On Her Majesty's Secret Service" (1969) Telly Savalas took on the role of Blofeld in this film.
"Diamonds Are Forever" (1971) Charles Gray (from The Rocky Horror Picture Show) played Blofeld in this installment.
"For Your Eyes Only" (1981) John Hollis (uncredited, only hands and back of the head are shown) appears in the pre-credits sequence only and is not explicitly named Blofeld due to legal issues.
"Never Say Never Again" (1983) This film is not part of the official James Bond series but is a non-canonical remake of "Thunderball." Max von Sydow played a character similar to Blofeld.
"Spectre" (2015) Christoph Waltz took on the role of Blofeld in this film
"No Time To Die" (2021) Blofeld is played once again by Christoph Waltz in the final Daniel Craig / James Bond movie.

The Saint: Teresa (2.4, ITC, 1963)
"We were very lucky you came along."
"We could have been marooned there for days!"
"I invariably turn up at the most opportune moment. I make a hobby of it."
#the saint#teresa#itc#1963#leslie charteris#john kruse#roy ward baker#roger moore#lana morris#eric pohlmann#marne maitland#lawrence dane#marie burke#alexander davion#ricardo montez#paul whitsun jones#alan browning#frank olegario#george little#peter exposite#another lady name episode; a little more original than the previous entry (Judith) but let down by a general attitude of patronising#indifference to the episode's setting of Mexico; Simon's opening monologue about the divide between rich and poor feels pretty#off the mark when you consider he is literally a rich tourist treating the world as his playground. Lana Morris' Teresa is very lovely but#the episode leaves crucial questions unanswered (why are the police so concerned no harm should come to her? who exactly is#Marne Maitland's silent assassin working for?). old favourite Pohlmann has a lot of fun with his role as mysterious benefactor and onlooker#to a series of Saintly mishaps; Alan Browning has an all too short cameo as a cafe owner; and Canadian Lawrence Dane (who i just found out#died last month; RIP‚ his Scanners villain is truly unsettling) plays a Mexican bandit (alas this one is full if white people playing#Mexican characters‚ including Davion and Whitsun Jones who just played english filmmakers the episode before last)#to give an idea of the ridiculous task i set myself in watching this in transmission order‚ i don't think any 2 episodes of s2 have been on#the same disc in network's set so far. Starring the Saint was on disc 7 but there are still episodes on disc 3 i haven't seen yet..

The actor Anthony Dawson was born on October 18th 1916 in Edinburgh.
He was born Anthony Douglas Gillon Dawson to Ida Violet (Kittel) and Eric Francis Dawson. His father was Scottish and his mother was of German and English descent.
Following Royal Academy of Dramatic Art training and World War II service, he made his film debut in 1943's They Met in the Dark. He went on to appear in such classic British films as The Way to the Stars , The Queen of Spades  and The Wooden Horse, before moving to America in the early 1950′s
Dawson made his breakthrough in the Alfred Hitchcock classic Dial M for Murder. He was excellent as Lesgate, seedy ex-Cambridge classmate of would-be wife murderer Wendice played by Ray Milland. Dawson gave similarly sinister performances in the thriller Midnight Lace, where he menaced hapless Doris Day, and the Terence Fisher-directed Hammer horror The Curse of the Werewolf as Count Siniestro. In another film by this director, the James Bond classic Dr. No, Dawson played the geologist Prof. R.J.Dent, a henchman of the title character who attempts to assassinate the hero, then finds out to his cost what Bond's "license to kill" really means.  Dawson was also the first screen incarnation of Bond villain Ernst Stavro Blofeld (in From Russia with Love  and Thunderball, though the viewer only sees his hands stroking a white cat and hears the voice of Austrian actor Eric Pohlmann.
Other films included They Were Not Divided, Valley of Eagles, The Amorous Adventures of Moll Flanders, Triple Cross , Red Sun, Inchon and The Jigsaw Man, all directed by Irishman Terence Young, who also directed Dr No. Young cast him in 14 of his films in total.
A highly capable, immediately recognizable actor, Dawson deserved better roles than came his way after the mid-1960s. He eventually ended up playing small parts in minor Italian films and European co-production. Dawson continued acting right into the 90′s his final role was as the Marquess of Bath  in the mini-series Selling Hitler  in 1991.
An interesting footnote to Dawson's career are his unpublished memoirs, "Rambling Recollections", in which he vividly recalls meeting Hitchcock after first arriving in Hollywood. This took place at a dinner party given by the director at Perino's Restaurant in Los Angeles. Also present were 'Dial M' co-stars Grace Kelly and English actor John Williams. Dawson later escorted Kelly to her residence at Chateau Marmont, an apartment bloc on Sunset Strip. Dawson then intimated that an affair took place, which, however lasted just until Ray Milland arrived on the scene.
Anthony Dawson died in Sussex of cancer at the age of 75 in January 1992.

We've all heard what fun it was to make the Carry On movies. And all heard about the mischief Kenneth would get up to at Pinewood Studios. These behind the scenes pictures capture what life on set was like.

Jim Dale, Peter Butterworth, Phil Silvers, Bernard Bresslaw, and Kenneth Williams celebrating Phil Silvers birthday with a giant cake! The cast and crew were always treated each other so kindly, especially a new comer like Silvers, even though this would be his only Carry On.

Quote
On the contrary, I have satisfied myself that one of you is clearly guilty of embezzlement. SPECTRE's a dedicated fraternity whose strength lies in the absolute integrity of its members. The culprit is known to me. I have decided on the appropriate action.
