There are new videos up for the introductions of Mathias, Jet, Erenfried and Roche on the official Neo Angelique Tenshi no Namida site. I can’t get them uploaded here on mobile, but I did translate Mathias’s and Jet’s videos. It seems Tumblr thinks the text is too long to post on mobile, so here is just Mathias. The videos go by too fast, so I may have missed some of the text. Or some of Mathias’s scintillating conversation. Haha. .... Mathias: Suddenly, returning to consciousness from endless troubles, I noticed my surroundings were unfamiliar. Angelique: (.....Oh? I wonder how I got here? It seems I got lost because I was thinking.) Angelique: Well..... where should I go to return to my room? While trying desperately to remember my path, I tried to return to the original location, but if I chose badly I would get more deeply lost. Angelique: What should I do..... Nobody is walking so late at night........ (Mathias appears.) Suddenly I could see a glowing light and a person. It seems someone is walking with a lantern. Angelique: (....a person? Shall I ask him the way?) Angelique: (But, I will need to go to the other side. I feel that I will be farther away from my room if I go over there......) (Choice:) 1: Follow the person. 2: search for a way home myself. I got lost, and— (Choice 1) Angelique: (- I’m not confident I can get back to my room. Let’s ask that person.) my other two pullip family dolls arrived! on the right, eri is a dal erenfried, and technically she is my first doll of this type because I ordered her first. she's wearing a random monster high dress and her stock shoes for now. on the left, this knightly gent doesn't have a solid name yet. he's a taeyang twilight destiny, and while his stock outfit looked really cool, it fit so tightly that he couldn't move. thankfully he fits into ever after high boy clothes. (why is he wearing his cloak still? because it's very cold today.) I didn't notice his hair tail thingamabob when I ordered him, and I'm not sure how I feel about it. either make his hair all long or all short, y'know? anyway, that completes my 3-man pullip army for the moment. now I need to make them some real clothes...

Aaaahhh a friend sent me a leaked image of Erenfried's design for Tenshi no Namida and just like everyone else so far, he looks good too and I hope that this smug little shit will get his own route now because he is definitely in my top list 👀👌 Still, I'm mostly excited to see the full design of that new character (カミーユ...so Kamille/Camille/Camus?) though...He looks very cute judging from the very little smile shot pic they use to tease us with! And what about the gameplay? I hope they will update us soon about how the game works cause I am dying to know if this game will be somewhat similar to the first Neo Ange in gameplay or strictly visual novel now...

New gameplay info on the Official Neo Angelique Tears of an Angel site. The first photo: Pretty self explanatory. It says you can choose the name and if you use the default the other characters will call the heroine by name. The second photo: Depending of your choices in the common route, it branches into an open or blocked route and then into individual routes from there. The third photo: Depicts the screen where you can increase your favor with the guys in the mansion by talking, cooking for them, or exchanging letters with the guys who aren't at the mansion. The fourth photo: There is a special scenario for Erenfried, who is not in Arcadia. As you progress through the letters that arrive, the special scenario is gradually released and can be enjoyed from the Extra menu. There is also some new info up on the truly extraordinary store-specific bonuses that will be available. Wow! How to choose!

To be honest, I have a mixed feeling regarding Otomate's involvement in the newest Neo Angelique project. I hope it doesn't mean that the new Neo Angelique will strictly be a visual novel game, because I honestly love the strategy and gameplay part in my otome games, no matter how simple it is. I love challenges, so games where I could work a strategy to conquer all/most characters are my favorite and it's especially better if the game recognizes your harem/conquest route by giving rival/3p mode/exclusive event/ending. That's why I love Neo Romance and TMGS a lot since I have possibility to do more than pressing A button and choose good options in those games. Besides, some scene that could happen during the mini games have a potential to be hilarious for me, such as when I tried to make Ange gazing at the boys during the dinner time scene and they gave her cold/awkward stare back since I have chosen wrong answers or so lmao. Eh, regardless however the Neo Angelique: An Angel's Tears will be, I am still pretty excited for it and the new designs look great so far. I hope it will not be a phone game though (still forever bitter about Corda Octave) and I hope they will also bring the anime exclusive guys like Jet, Erenfried, Mathias and Roche in the new game and even better give them a proper route! I'd really love to go for especially Mathias and Erenfried!
