Why it was so easy for me to love Eren Jaeger, he has a lot in common with Prequel Era Anakin Skywalker. A defining moment in their life deals with the loss of their mother which causes them to lash out at the beings responsible for the death of their mother. Both strive for freedom and have powers that can be seen as both a blessing and a curse, Anakin being the Chosen One and Eren bearing the Founding Titan. Both join a group that pledged to protect people, but ultimately turns against them. Both are willing to kill many people in order to protect those dearest to them. Also since I ship Erehisu, my favorite ship for them involves falling in love with a young woman who had to hide the fact that she was royalty.
