Music Theory is really kicking her ass this semester.  Honestly, Dani figures the class wouldn’t be so difficult if she weren’t burnt out on all the practicing for that performance test at the end of the month.  All of her time and energy is focusing on that “mid-term” so to speak.  After all, the whole point of her class is to learn to master the fucking piano, but it’s not as if she can just carry a piano around with her wherever she goes and that means, ultimately, that she ends up at the studio more often than not because her tiny 700 square foot apartment style dorm also can’t hold a piano.  Dani feels as though she hasn’t left the school in a month, even if at some point each day she does come crawling home around two or three in the morning.  The hours logged into the school and the hours logged into her bed are really not as proportionate as they should be, and though she’s passing piano, her other classes are starting to suffer from it. 

Today it’s time to take a break.  It’s a beautiful Saturday morning on the streets of NYC, and there’s noting quite like getting back to the good old glory days of playing guitar on the street corner.  This morning is prime territory for the activity, because there are plenty of passerby, but most are too busy with their morning commute to pay her much mind, and the harassment levels drop impressively.  School is far from her mind as her sneakers scrape to a halt on an old curbside, the same curbside where she’d been picked up to join her first band; an old endeavor that had never quite been fruitful, but had been worth it for the friends and the experience.  

The most wonderful thing about living in the city, she thinks, is that you never really know what it is you’re going to experience.  Manhattan is as unpredictable as her brother back home and in that one small way the streets are familiar and comforting to her.  Last time she’d been here she’d joined a band, and there’s no telling what will happen this time.  And it’s with that that she sits down on the curb, kicks open the case, and begins to play.

Jade’s computer has broken. And it sucks. She hurries into the building that houses the student-run computer services and slams her laptop onto the counter.

“My computer won’t boot up and I have a paper due tomorrow and all my research is on there and- ooooooh, fuck no. You. Why does this keep happening to me?!”

((I was randomly thinking “Hey Thomas uses Mega Man’s weapon, so what if he was in a Mega Man style game where the 8 robot masters were other SBURB players?  Thus, this was born.))

Thomas is Hope Man.  As such, other players of the Hope aspect are not present.  Nor are players with the Rage aspect.  Of the other 12 aspects, Thomas doesn’t know any Blood or Life players very well.  He knows OF them, but doesn’t really know any.  The only Time player he really knows is Jordan, so lacking more aspects, he is present.

The list is what I believe the weakness chain would be, each person being strong against the next.

Rexton: Mind Woman

Jace: Breath Man

Jinn: Space Man

Brad: Void Man

Arii: Heart Woman/Man/Person

Rae: Doom Woman

Jordan: Time Man

Riva: Light Woman

I tried to put opposite aspects on the opposite ends of the weakness chain.  Jace and Rae don’t have their opposite aspects present due to the aforementioned lack of Blood and Life players.  As such, they are opposite of one another here.
