Honest Opinion - Equuleus Kyoko

Overall score: 10/10

She is, in my opinion, one of the most “saint-like” people of this show. Even though a major reason behind her wish to become a Saintia resides in Shoko, rather than a desire to simply protect Athena and fight for her, she struck me as a really incredible warrior. 

She is incredibly determined, and kept fighting even when her power inferiority against the dryad was blatant. Kyoko absolutely embodies the spirit of a true Saint, even if she’s not perfect at being one (and honestly, almost no one is).  She was willing to sacrifice herself in order to save her sister, which is something I admire of her, and even manages to retain her consciousness while being a host for Eris - though she’s dormant. 

Kyoko is incredibly loyal, she cares deeply about her family, and what she lacks in power is made up for with courage and unwillingness to give up. 

She may not my favorite character of the series, but still deserves the full score.

But I’m back.

I was left with Shoko trapped in enemy territory and it proves that Bronze armour is made of paper.

I'm glad it's mentioned again that Shoko was supposed to be Eris' vessel.

But Milo shows up and my opinion that the Gold Saints are the strongest of the Gods' armies gets stronger, plus they are willing to do anything to protect humanity including killing an innocent person.

Miracle, a silver saint appeared who is not useless, long live Rigel and also we have some romace(little but as I like it). I hope the silver saints do better in this series.

I still think it's weird that saintias are considered a myth even for a Gold saint one but maybe this means that they have always been few, as they should be.

And Saori does something before it's the end of the saga, miracles just keep happening. Kyoko decides to sacrifice herself for her sister, well, I hope she stays dead. But Eris will come back as long as there is conflict between humans.

And Saori must be ready to see the Saints die, it's time for the Galactic tournament!

But here comes what I feared the most from the manga, the fucking Saintias academy. I hate it, I hate this concept in ways no one can even imagine. And I don't care about the Chinese girl, I hope she dies.

I understand that Saori doesn't want Shoko to continue this and go back to her normal life, but...it's not possible to go back to a normal life after everything she's been through. It's the same as with the bronze ones in the Hades saga. Shoko is going to fight again, no matter what.

Ok the Chinese girl did something right, Tatsumi deserves to eat ground and more, I don't want her to die anymore but I don't want her to show up either.

The Silver Saints are sent to investigate and punish the Bronze Saints, but it's also stressed that it's possible that this is someone else's fault (Mitsumasa Kido). Plus there is someone committing blasphemy by calling herself Athena. And there is a sainthia who is not on Athena's side. I liked this part a lot.

Seiya appears and Seika is mentioned. Good, but I'd rather there was no romance, or even interest at all between Seiya and Shoko.

Silver Saints dressed incognito and also showing a personality, unheard of. I love it. Katya, please I have high hopes for you.

Saori treated as an imposter and guilty of deceiving both the Saints and the Saintias, please let's keep it up.

The Chinese girl is useless but they get her out of the way fast. Katya talking on Saga's good side, sending Santias' academy to hell and criticizing the tournament, I love it.

But as expected Shoko can't have a normal life anymore and returns to the battlefield, plus she doesn't believe in Athena but in Saori, nice.

Mayura shows up and proves that he is one of the strongest Silver Saints and puts everyone in their place (especially Katya).

Aphrodite shows up and takes Saori away, well that was easy.

Saga struggling between his good and bad side, trying to die because he regrets everything he has done. Ugh, I want his problem to be a personality disorder, not brought on by gods powers. No need for the gods to come up with that. You don't know how much I hate Kethes.

Noooooooooo, why, why, why, why, why did Katya have to be influenced by a magical poison-thing to decide to trust Saga over Saori, why couldn't she have her own opinion and decide that to protect humanity, Saga's way was better, despite the sacrifices that would be made?

Why couldn't she evolve and change her thinking little by little deciding a path between the two points of view. WHY?

At least Juan and George show their personalities again, at least there is light in the darkness.

I love this Piscis Aphrodite, his speech, his opinions, I love it, he is perfect, Saori is not the only way, besides she is not ready to be a goddess. But he still expects her to show her potential and recognizes her as Athena.

And Saintias academy is reduced to ashes, YES. Burn it Deathmask, destroy it all, end the worst concept of the whole series, end those posh girls. Besides they deserved it, they were a resurrection nest for the dryads, they are better dead.

I don't care much for Erda, Deatmask stole her spotlight, and did it marvellously.

I didn't expect Marin to help the Saintias but she's welcome, especially when she makes them eat ground.

And the Sanctuary saga begins. Well, it starts and ends in one page, good because the Saintias and Saori are supposed to be the ones in the limelight.

I still think three Saintias would be better than five.
