The big last fight and The moment Naruto gave up on Sakura.

A long time passed since I last talked about Naruto (may it be here or irl ! ), that manga that break my heart 2 years ago with its chocking and disappointing ending. Now, I just don’t feel anything special towards Naruto, especially after reading and discovering better mangas (mainly Seinens)

These past few weeks, they’ve been releasing the anime adaptation of the last chapters of Naruto. I’ve stopped watching the anime for more than 3 years now, long before the manga’s end, but, after hearing that the last fight has been adapted, I wanted to see how it looked like.

I watched the 477′s episode, wanting to skip the entire first part of the fight with all the fucked up power ups which had no sense at all. All I was interested in, was the second part, seeing Naruto and Sasuke fighting with fists, seeing something more realistic.

Even though I disliked the ending of the manga, I won’t lie and say I disliked the second part of the fight between Naruto and Sasuke, even though it kinda made no sense (like Sasuke’s sudden change of heart like “Oh I was evil but now I want to become a good guy because bananas !” well, No. ), but it made me feel kind of nostalgic about the good old days, it made me feel like I was brought back to 12 years ago, the moment I discovered this manga.

So, what about the anime version ? Making it a “silent” fight for most part of it was a good thing. For once, there weren’t too many unnecessary dialogues to ruin the atmosphere, so it made the only moments they were talking have more impact (like Sasuke’s anger ..) THEN, everything was fucked up ONCE again by SP’s terrible animation. I “expected” more for the big fight the manga was about for years and years, as if designers aren’t used to draw close fights...(Guess that the only thing SP is good at is choosing good music)

The ending with all the characters who died holding lanters was heartwarming and kind of sad (Neji U died for nothing T_T ! ) as well as the scene between Naruto and the new Kurama.

After seeing this episode, I wanted to see the previous ones, and then, I “bumped” into the moment Minato had to leave Naruto.

The first time I read that was before Naruto’s ending, so I didn’t interpret what he said in the same way as I’m interpreting it now, after seeing what happened next (= Naruto marrying Hinata ).

As I said in the title, I think that at this right moment, Naruto (or maybe kishimoto ) gave up on chasing after Sakura.

We all know that Kushina said to Naruto to find a girl like her (which was Sakura ofc )...

Here, when talking to his father:

“I know mom said to find someone like her...but..that’s”, he said.

“Anyways, not everything mom told me went well ...”, he added.

The first part refers to him loving Sakura, because she’s the closest person to be like Kushina, then we can see Naruto’s hesitation, like he knows that he and Sakura won’t ever be together, that’s why he added after that not everything went the way Kushina (and him) ��wanted.

The first time I read that, I thought that it was a hint about Naruto saying to Sakura at the end about how he completed his promise and maybe confess (which didn’t happen unfortunaltely... because , y’know, Kishi had other plans :moneymoneymoney: ), but now, I think it was Kishi’s way to say that it was over.

Well, it was all I had to say this time. Maybe my theory is right, maybe it isn’t. Maybe someone already talked about it before. The only thing I’m sure about, is that pairings did ruin this manga, because Kishi forced that ending to make more money.

One last thing,in these episodes,we can feel a little “KakaSaku” vibe, which is cute *w*
