I would say stay with them and watch for symptoms but being "wobbly and confused" ARE symptoms so in this scenario I would seek immediate medical care.
What would you do faced with a concussion? This is for writing purposes to see how much an average person would know to do. This is not advice, I'm not healthcare
Someone has hit their head. They say they're fine, but seem a bit wobbly and confused.
#if they seem wobbly and confused you get to a FUCKING hospital#epidural hematomas can bleed out in a couple hours and there may be a “lucid period” where they suddenly seem fine#DON'T TRUST IT#liam neeson's wife died that way#there can also be a slow subdural hematoma bleed that can cause symptoms much later and the separation from the injury#may mean they don't think to get checked#at least call an ambulance and have an EMT look them over#sorry I know that was not the point of this but I had to throw in a PSA because it's really not known#same for letting someone who's passed out drinking “sleep it off”#if they cannot be roused get immediate medical care. unconsciousness is a medical emergency#“being awake” is a basic brain function. if a person's brain cannot manage that then something is SERIOUSLY wrong.#that applies to head injuries too like if the person lost consciousness even just for a second you should get medical attention
