This week's #EpicAussie is 'Koala Krusader' Mandie Lee.🌟Mandie has a passion for saving and protecting the famous Aussie icon and probably the cutest one called the Koala!🐾 🐨 Mandie says: "Koalas are in serious decline suffering from the effects of habitat destruction, domestic dog attacks, bushfires and road accidents. It's estimated that there are less than 100,000 Koalas left in the wild, possibly as few as 43,000. 🐨 I want to raise awareness for these peaceful animals. This week's #EpicAussie is Kangaroo Dundee Chris ‘Brolga’ Barnes who runs the Kangaroo Sanctuary in Alice Springs Australia. 🐾 Chris lives in the desert outback with a mob of orphaned kangaroos. He's been rescuing baby joeys from the roadside when their mothers are killed for the past 10 years.
