tbh maybe im overthinking it, but it doesnt sit right by me that dungeon meshi declared "16" to be the Age of Maturity for tall-men"

but naggy" you say "its medieval times, of course theyd think 16 was adult age"and this is where i gotta stop you. cuz its basically a myth that ancient times decided (age) was the Mature Adult for people. because all of this is incredibly dependent on... gender.

"During the medieval era and the era of feudalism, in England the age of majority for males was 21 and for females 14 if married and 16 if single." but lets keep going.

"In the Greek cities, the adolescent, at 18 years old, has to do a military service called the ephebia. At the end of this formation, the young man, aged of 20 years old, comes back to his city. in ancient rome "The age of adulthood was 12 for girls, or 14 for boys."

so we can see pattern where women (girls, rly) are always declared adults much earlier than men, with different degrees of age gaps, of course. (granted my sources are all mostly wikipedia so im not trying to make a great detailed essay or anything lol)

but it brings me to my point that perpetuating the myth of "everyone was an adult at One Set Age" is not great. especially in a story as detailed as dungeon meshi. imo either you unflinchingly confront the misogynistic reality of social norms regarding age, or pick the highest age to avoid uncomfortable conversations (that you already tried to dodge ig but still brought it to the table by saying According to human maturity ur an adult at 16 which ok.)

im not here to say ryoko kui did anything intentionally malicious or anything ofc. mostly just observing how pervasive historical myths can be and how even fantasy can feed bias and erroneous information n all that

Pablo e il mare è il progetto artistico di Paolo Antonelli, cantautore torinese.

Respiro (Libellula/audioglobe 2015) è il suo terzo, bellissimo disco.

Biografia

Le canzoni di Pablo e il mare prendono il largo nel 2002.

Le prime tappe vedono Pablo e il mare protagonista di rassegne e concorsi: Colonia Sonora a Torino, Sconcerti a Milano e Aritmia Mediterranea a Molfetta (BA).

Nel 2004, al termine di una lunga nottata milanese, Pablo si aggiudica la finale nazionale della XVII edizione di Rock Targato Italia.

Nel 2006 pubblica Onde, il suo disco d’esordio, legato al clip di All’alba diretto da Tak Kuroha.

Il disco è ben accolto dalla stampa specializzata e sessanta concerti fanno conoscere Pablo e il mare all’Italia del rock indipendente.

Il nuovo corso

Nel 2008 la band ferma l’attività e cerca una nuova identità.

Il 2009 è l’inizio del nuovo corso: Pablo e il mare si presenta in trio acustico e vena d’autore intima, adatta tanto al palco tradizionale quanto a situazioni informali come reading, rassegne d’autore, ecc.

Nel 2009 rappresenta l’Italia sul palco del Kranfest, in Slovenia.

Nell’estate del 2010 Pablo figura nel cast di Spaziale/Emersione.

Il 25 aprile 2011 Pablo e il mare è tra i protagonisti della Festa di Liberazione sul grande palco di Piazza San Carlo, insieme a Subsonica, Niccolò Fabi e Gianmaria Testa.

Miramòr

Miramòr è il titolo del secondo album, alla cui pubblicazione seguono sessanta date, da Aosta a Catanzaro.

Nel 2014 la band si arricchisce del violino di Francesco Coppotelli e del contrabbasso di Fabrizio Cerutti. Nel 2015 pubblica per LIbellula Respiro, prima scelta su Rumore, Blowup, Rockerilla, Ephebia.

Tortuga è il clip diretto da Fabrizio Vacca, vincitore dei premi americani TOFF e TMFF e menzione speciale al Tagliacorti si Trieste.

Le serate di CinzanoLife

Cinzano Life propone una serie di serate imperdibili, che vedono protagonista la musica dal vivo.
