We can do better.

At the moment the inflated vision of these ‘gardens’, mired in maintenance fees, a narrative of control and their ‘One per cent’ residents represents more portfolio addition than ecological triumph. Floating garden residences smack of self-congratulation and privatised virtue. See how ethically we live! It’s hard to resist the image floating gardens have cultivated, though it remains unearned.

As the water rises, our foundations will remain bound to the ground. To keep our heads above water we will have to adapt. Let us dream of dark paths so that we may save #TheFuture from such fates. We #RiseTogether or not at all. ourdynamicimagination can transport us across many destinations and show paths of hope.
