Description: Insights from the Lecture Series.
In the lecture series class, I gained valuable insights into the multifaceted world of business creation and management. One key takeaway was the significance of embracing failure as an inherent part of the entrepreneurial journey. Understanding that setbacks are not indicative of defeat but rather opportunities for growth has shifted my perspective. It instilled in me a resilience that encourages learning from mistakes and adapting strategies, fostering a mindset crucial for navigating the unpredictable landscape of entrepreneurship.
The class underscored the paramount importance of a customer-centric approach in building a successful venture. Recognizing the profound impact of understanding and addressing the needs of the target audience has reshaped my understanding of business development. This lesson emphasized that the core of any thriving enterprise lies in providing tangible value to customers. Armed with this insight, I am now more attuned to the importance of market research, customer feedback, and iterative product development to ensure the sustainability and relevance of a business in a competitive market.
Additionally, the emphasis on effective time management resonated deeply. Learning to prioritize tasks strategically and allocate time efficiently has equipped me with a practical skill set for optimizing productivity. The acknowledgment that time is a finite and valuable resource has prompted a more disciplined approach to my work, fostering an environment where tasks of utmost importance take precedence. This newfound awareness of time as a critical asset has not only enhanced my efficiency in daily tasks but has also contributed to a more organized and goal-oriented mindset in both academic and professional pursuits.

Tumblr media

There are various ways to make extra money during these holidays, which can be full of fun, joy, and fulfillment and even spark new potential for satisfying long-term employment relationships. There are numerous seasonal opportunities available, such as freelancing, tutoring, cooking, and so on. Continue reading this article to learn ways to make money during holidays.
Ways to make money during holidays
Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a new job seeker, here are several great ways to make money during the holidays.
Become a Freelancer
Taking on work in a field where you have skills or experience can be a flexible and lucrative way to supplement your income. The most in-demand freelance skills are web design, copywriting, editing, social media marketing, e-commerce, and software development. A strong resume, targeted LinkedIn profile, and solid portfolio will assist you in finding or creating those opportunities.
Whatever method of making money you choose, it is important that you spread the word. Instead of telling everyone about your offers and services this holiday, simply create a poster, write about your work and offers, and distribute them digitally.
Online or offline tutoring
If you are skilled at tutoring in any subject, tutoring can be a lucrative way for you to earn money online or offline. There are many people who assist others in providing their teaching services and earn a decent amount of money. You can offer your services online through a variety of platforms, as well as create a website detailing your subject or use social media to inform others about your new tutoring business. Tutoring was also launched online during COVID-19, and many people began taking classes and earning good money.
Sale online
Take stock of the items in your home that you no longer want or need, such as surplus furniture, appliances, utensils, clothes you never wear, and so on. All of this can become someone else’s treasure, helping you earn money online. Examine the best sites for selling your items online, and do not forget to include photos and be very clear about the condition of the merchandise.
Taking care of pets
If you enjoy spending time with animals, you can turn your hobby into a source of income. Dog walking, dog and cat sitting in other people’s homes, and boarding animals in your home are all in high demand. This service is even more in demand during the holidays, because most people who go on vacation need someone to look after their pets, so you should have no trouble finding someone who needs you to watch their pets, and you can charge a reasonable fee for it. You can communicate with customers via a variety of platforms.
Cooking services
You can make money if you enjoy cooking and are good at it. There are numerous ways to demonstrate your culinary skills and earn money online and offline. Start a food recipe blog or your own food channel, sell meals or baked goods in your neighborhood, and start a catering business. Share your abilities on social media, particularly on highly visual platforms. With cooking, you can start a food delivery service. There is also demand for delivery drivers on many platforms.
Closing Thoughts
There’s a breadth of side hustles, and the right one for you is one that you can enjoy, employ your creative skills, and bring in the cash. A true entrepreneurial mind, according to tradition, is one that never stops producing ideas and sees opportunities where others do not. Simply consider what works best for you in terms of personal and financial objectives, and you can earn money online. There are numerous ways to earn money as a freelancer, including selling items online, pet sitting, starting a cooking service, and tutoring.

The Journey in Entrepreneurial Mind : Political Science Edition
Hello, everyone! and every two! and every three!
The Final Pitching: Our OMNIHUB Innovation Takes Pride
Tumblr media
After months of hard work, countless brainstorming, conducting several surveys, and more than a few late nights, the day finally arrived for us to pitch our innovative new service application “OMNIHUB '' to the panels. The atmosphere was electric as we took in commencing to pitch, presented a demo of the seamless user experience, and articulated our vision for creating a revolutionary platform to make people’s lives more convenient and open up new opportunities especially to the students.
Moreover, there were certainly some nerves, months of preparation carried us through. We highlighted OMNIHUB’s unique ability to seamlessly connect users to local services, from transportation to grocery to dog walking and more remotely. I guess, the panel’s eyes lit up as they saw and witnessed just how great and intuitive the app made accessing these modern conveniences. When we revealed our expansive partner network of service, and assuming the presence of developers and partner providers, I believe they will be on board, and expecting that we could feel the rising excitement.
As the pitch encapsulates, we feel the exploding applause coming from our adviser and the panel. Months of doubt, fatigue and challenges melted away in that moment of validation and promise for our startup’s future. Thus, there is still a long road ahead, pitching OMNIHUB was an incredible milestone and motivating start to our entrepreneurial journey.
The Entrepreneurial Mind Lecture Series 2024
Tumblr media
Credits: Mr. Reymark Menguito Facebook Post after the lecture series photo opt.
With the high pitch still fresh, we were fortunate to attend the Entrepreneurial Mind Lecture Series and gain invaluable insights about critical legal and business considerations for startup founders. The discussions around data privacy regulations, intellectual property protection and nurturing a healthy startup ecosystem were not only fascinating but immensely practical.
One speaker’s cautionary tales about the risks of neglecting data privacy best practices clearly outlined the need to bake those considerations into our respective innovation’s infrastructure from day one. However, sometimes seen as a hindrance, we recognized robust data privacy as an opportunity to build user trust and position our brand as an advocate on valuing digital rights and freedoms.
The intellectual property talks were another highlight, detailing strategies for safeguarding our core innovations while still encouraging productive partnerships and integrations within the broader ecosystem we aim to facilitate. It was a masterclass in walking the tightrope of protecting our interest while still boldly collaborating.
Moreover, as we put the context to our innovation, while the OMNIHUB pitch was the dramatic crescendo, lectures like these represent the foundational learnings that will allow us to transform our plucky startup into an enduring, ethical and impactful enterprise. The insights gained will undoubtedly help steer us clear of many potential pitfalls.
The Entrepreneurial Mind Experience: A Rewarding Whirlwind
Tumblr media
The AB Political Science 3 in one frame with Sir Reymark Menguito.
Reflecting on the entire semester with “Entrepreneurial Mind” experience, it was truly a roller coaster in the best way possible. POwered by passion yet anchored in practicality and preparation, we weathered the inevitable storms of self-doubt, fatigue, and creative differences to bring “OMNIHUB” to this exciting inflection point.
There were countless lows along the way - those nights where it felt like we never made a dent, or disagreements that threatened to derail everything. But each time we hit a roadblock, our resilience, openness to constructive feedback, and sheer belief in our vision pulled us through. We’ll carry the lessons of perseverance, resourcefulness, and teamwork with us forever.
Of course, the highs were just as intense as the lows - those electrifying moments where everything clicked into place, or a conversation with a subject matter expert unlocked a powerful new idea we’d been stubbornly missing. Celebrating small wins with the team, whether a UI breakthrough or a new partnership commitment, recharged our momentum.
Nevertheless, the future is unwritten, one thing is certain: we will always be visionary entrepreneurs at heart, capable of pouring out all into pursuing an ambitious idea and weathering any storm required to try and make an impact. OMNIHUB was the catalyst, but the Entrepreneurial MInd experience awakened something deeper- a mindset geared for constant evolution, lifelong learning and solving problems in unconventional ways.
Moreover, this could not be possible without the ever-dynamic instructor of ours, Sir Reymark Menguito who made our journey in this course become extraordinary, through his expertise, motivation and passion to fuel our vehicles in entrepreneurship. I, myself, am beyond grateful for having Sir Reymark Menguito with us throughout the semester.
The abovementioned, the pitch, lecture series, and complete experience represented not just an academic exercise, but moreover the start of our entrepreneurial voyage. We have been equipped with tools, passion, memories and the hunger to continually innovate for a better world. After this rewarding whirlwind, we are eager to see what ambitious idea captures our “Entrepreneurial Mind” next.
"Could have been me" a song of Halsey that pertains to someone or something that's holding oneself to be fearless, to do things scared and feel every emotions without restrictions in everything. To have some fun and enjoy things which talks to self indirectly that it could be me if I do it without anything is hampering me. And this is me.

Entrepreneurial Mind in Me
Entrepreneurship as essentialism enables entrepreneurs achieve their long-term vision by maintaining clarity, optimizing resources, and constantly thriving to success.
As what I have learned, the entrepreneurship is a process of creating, seizing, and pursuing opportunities regardless of the resources currently controlled. This means that entrepreneurial mind thrives on innovation and constantly seeking new opportunities and solutions where others see challenges.
Entrepreneurial mind basically embraces risk as a necessary element of growth, leveraging setbacks and challenges as a learning experience. Thus, it is a relentless passion that creates, disrupts, and build something valuable that lasts for the world.
One of the subtopic that light a bulb in my mind was when the difference between a businessman and entrepreneur was discussed. I have never asked their difference in my decades of existence and the facts truly amazed me. So I have learned that a businessman typically focuses on managing and optimizing existing business operations for profitability and stability only while in contrast, an entrepreneur is more inclined to innovate and take risks to create new ventures or services that disrupt markets and drive growth.
Entrepreneurship often exhibit a higher tolerance for uncertainty and passion for uncharted territories in pursuit of opportunities. Entrepreneurial mind face numerous challenges, including uncertainty about market demand, financial constraints, and the need to continuously innovate to stay ahead of competitors. Additionally, maintaining motivation and resilience through setbacks and failures is crucial in sustaining entrepreneurial endeavours.
As a student, I can apply entrepreneurial mind by identifying opportunities for improvement or innovation within my academic environment. I can develop a new student club or initiative to address a gap in our campus, such as tutoring service for difficult courses or a sustainability project to reduce waste. By taking initiative, being resourceful, and embracing challenges a learning opportunities, I can cultivated entrepreneurial skills that extend beyond traditional business contexts into academic and personal growth.
And so in conclusion, I believe that we should not allow these setbacks hold us, we should not allow disruptions scare us, and we should not allow the lack of resources dictate us on how can we be a better student. We should break barriers and take risks, be resilient and think like a true entrepreneur.

Embarking on Entrepreneurship: Insights and Innovations💡
As an aspiring entrepreneur, the subject "Entrepreneurial Mind" excites me. I've heard that it centers on crafting business proposals and places a strong emphasis on the practical application of theories. I believe this hands-on approach will greatly enhance my skills and prepare me for future business ventures.
Tumblr media
Based on what I learned during the introduction to this subject, it is not one where you will read and memorize many concepts and lessons. Instead, it is more performance-based, emphasizing teamwork with your groupmates. It does not focus on written quizzes or exams; rather, our grade will be determined by the performance of our group. This approach will significantly help us understand the key factors in making business decisions and prepare us for real-world entrepreneurial challenges. 🤝
Tumblr media
The first topic taught me the difference between entrepreneurs and businessmen. I used to think they were the same. A businessman starts or operates a business based on established, existing ideas, aiming to maximize profits within a familiar market. On the other hand, an entrepreneur is characterized by their unique and innovative ideas, actively initiating and establishing new ventures, often paving their own way in the business realm. This new understanding has opened my eyes to the distinct roles and approaches each one takes in the business world. 👨‍💼🚀
Tumblr media
I am looking forward to learning more about entrepreneurship and engaging in activities with my team. I find it both enjoyable and challenging, and I believe it will provide valuable experiences for all of us. Starting this journey excites me, and I'm eager to see what we can achieve together. 🌟 - Jimboy

Lecture Series Program
Last May 08, 2024, the GEE 16 held a lecture series program at Central Mindanao University Convention Center. Here's my take from the series:
A start-up is a project with the potential to be highly scalable working to solve a problem where the solution is not obvious. — QBO (kyobo)
A start-up ecosystem is formed by people, start-ups in their various stages and various types of organizations in location, interacting as a system to create new start-up companies.
There are three Start-Up statistics one should know. These are the following:
1. Global Start-up Economy Snapshot
2. Most Highly Valued Unicorns Worldwide
3. Best Countries for Start-ups (Sweden, Norway, and Israel)

Final Pitching Experience & The Entrepreneurial Mind Journey
Proposing a start-up, a reverse vending machine, was an exciting venture that combines creativity and sustainability as we embark on our journey on this subject. The blog contains the journey, starting with interviewing people about the difficulty or issue they're facing or experiencing around campus, the first basic task that my team had to complete on our journey. To a detailed pitch, emphasizing the difficulties and learnings we encountered along the way.
Tumblr media
As we already received their responses, each of them brought different unique perspectives. Our team brainstormed their answers to think of what start-up we could propose. The interviewees' answers served as our compass that guided us toward our proposed start-up, the reverse vending machine. When it comes to group projects, decision-making is essential to determining how a team will proceed. The interview's outcome was thoroughly discussed by the team. After navigating the challenges of decision-making, the group did come up with what we’re working on during our final term. That’s how we came up with our start-up, a reverse vending machine.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The concept of our reverse vending machine is to address how we can make recycling more efficient and accessible for everyone. The Eco Bro team did a lot of research to understand how reverse vending machines work. The team did research on the machine’s design, features, and the different models already in use around the world for us to compare and make our reverse vending machine have its own unique feature. In building our prototype with the features we have mentioned, During the process of making prototypes, it‘s quite challenging. We had sleepless nights and worries about whether our prototype would work just like we wanted it to. We made our prototype out of scratch; no programming or wiring happened—just our own DIY reverse vending machine. Through the team’s hard work and teamwork, we managed to make our own DIY reverse vending machine. And it's a success. In our final pitch, presenting our project to the new sets of panelists was the most crucial moment, as it was the last step of our journey. During the final pitch, it’s not just about presenting the project; it's also about being able to effectively communicate its value proposition. like highlighting the benefits and pros of our project. It is also involved in preparing to address any potential concerns and objections about the project. And lastly, to be able to show the panelists our prototype and how it works. After presenting it, we got good feedback, and we got compliments on our presentation. And that’s a success.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
But, of course, there’s no journey without challenges; everything has its ups and downs. During the interview, some felt intimidated. In brainstorming the ideas, each of us has a different perspective, and there's a communication barrier. During the first proposal, our first idea was rejected, so we need to come up with other solutions. In midterm pitching, the feedback of the panelists is not that good; there are a lot of changes we made. They want money, but we want sustainability. During the customer validation, different feedback was gathered, both positive and negative. We didn't let those challenges bring us down, so instead, we made it our lesson to do more and to give our best. And that’s what we did.
Lecture Series
Tumblr media
During the lecture series, I'd be honest, I really didn't get to understand everything in our seats. The University Convention Center was full of students, and we didn't have the chance to sit in our designated seats. However, I can say that the lecture was indeed informative and indeed gave us insights about the business world. What caught my attention was when the speaker discussed the dynamic of the start-up. It was mentioned that startups, which convert creative ideas into workable solutions, are becoming more and more significant to the world economy.
Tumblr media
The speaker also discussed personal examples that demonstrate how entrepreneurs seize chances and overcome obstacles. Learn how entrepreneurs use copyrights, trademarks, and patents to safeguard their innovations. I was unable to hear the majority of what the speaker was saying when they discussed copyright legislation during the lecture.
Tumblr media
If we're talking about experience, ever since I was in elementary school, we owned a grocery store. During the lecture series, I also learned that a grocery store is not a start-up. It's funny, yes. A start-up is a newly established business venture that is in the early stages of its development. In summary, a start-up is an enterprise that aims to achieve large growth and market influence by leveraging innovation, scaling rapidly, and managing substantial risks. It goes beyond simply being a new business.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was fun. 😊
Thank you, Sir.

Blog 3
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I arrived late in the ucc that's why I only caught the second and last speaker to speak but still, there's lot of lesson that I learned from the two speaker. I have learned from the second speaker that it is not really easy to make a startup or business because like the speaker said that your idea is not only yours or you are not the only one to have that idea. There's a million of us in the world and many of us may think that kind of ideas like ours.  All we have to do is work incredibly hard, new innovations, and consistency. And also, I have learned that we should start a business with a cause, that would be able to help our environment be preserved and a community to flourish. As for the third speaker I have learned that failure is a part of the process. Everyone of us failed in life not because we are losers but because it redirected us onto something more than we're expecting. I think without experiencing failure in life means we didn't learn something in life. Listening to this speaker inspires me to become an entrepreneur someday.
These words really remain in my mind after the lecture, "Failure is not the opposite of success but failure is the stepping stone to success" A powerful quote to end a good lecture.

Startup Journey | PrintLink
After all the knowledge and experiences I gained from this course, to an amazing journey to create a startup with my team called PrintLink. I can say that this venture provided me realizations and challenges that shaped my understanding of what having an Entrepreneurial Mind is.
My journey began with wondering about the market gap in the university. I realized that there was a need for a more efficient and convenient way for students and others to access printing services. PrintLink was actually my own idea, so I'm very grateful with how my team accepted it as our group startup. I really loved this idea, not until I realized that this idea already exists in other universities and that they even have prototype of it. Nonetheless, this startup is needed for Central Mindanao University (CMU) and that even students themselves would love to have it.
While the journey of improving the idea of PrintLink fun, it was not without its challenges. We faced difficulties in group discipline, the team always procrastinate, we lacked motivation, we were too lazy. Nevertheless, we were able to do what was asked even though we were not in our prime at least we did not ignore. Through the process of building ideas, I gained invaluable insights into the world of entrepreneurship. I learned the importance of effective communication and collaboration in a startup ecosystem.
I've always wondered if what could've happen if ever we really made a PrintLink, and its opportunities for growth and expansion. I am confident that PrintLink would definitely thrive and revolutionize the printing industry. Overall, this journey has been an incredible learning experience, a worthwhile one worth waking up every every morning just to learn at 7a.m. Thank you Ma'am Sarausa!

ENTREPRENEURIAL MIND - 1ST BLOG, FINAL TERM
The Task
The group was tasked to interview at least 10 people from the university to give an honest review about the product and to seek validation if they were to avail the product if they were the target market. This blog will comprehensively discuss the journey and procedures done after the midterm pitching, as well as the data from the latest survey of people.
Background
We searched some students of CMU and asked them their relative experiences during the heat wave, the waste management problem, and the lack of lights during late hours of CMU. We then introduced the developing product, the design, and its function so that each respondent could have a clear and concise background information about the product and the problems it addresses within the university so that all data gathered contained a well-versed information to the function of the product.
Results
Around 90% of the respondents showed favorability to the product and deemed it as "practical" since both the global plastic waste and the heat wave in the Philippines have significantly risen in the past 5 years, and such, they approved of the idea of using waste materials to build helpful infrastructures to aid the students in their university life. As for the solar powered lights, the lack of light is the main driving force for the favorability of the product and has also been deemed as a significant help for those who need the light during late hour stays in the university. As for the availability of the product, most did agree to buy the product if they were in the universities' shoes, however the product is meant to be preliminary sold off to the university, and such the opinion of at least one administrative personnel in the university is also a much-needed information, but the lack of data from the administrative personnel is the only loophole in the data gathering procedure.
Conclusion
Our journey from the initial pitch to the latest survey results has been both enlightening and promising. The overwhelming 90% favorability among respondents underscores the practicality of our product. By repurposing waste materials, the product will address pressing issues like global plastic waste and will utilize the recent intensifying heat wave in the Philippines. While most respondents expressed willingness to purchase the product, we recognize that the administrative perspective is equally crucial. We eagerly await insights from university personnel to refine our approach and address any potential challenges.
Overall, our mission remains steadfast: to create sustainable solutions that enhance student life while minimizing our environmental footprint. With continued collaboration and data-driven decision-making, we’re determined to make a meaningful impact within our campus community and beyond. 🌱🌟

Campus Conundrums: Cultivating an Innovations Ecosystem for Individual Solutions through Entrepreneurial Mind
Tumblr media
Commencing from ashes toward achieving a fundamental goal requires resiliency and perseverance, optimistic planning, and brilliant strategy. This systematic element is essential for us to clinch the true meaning of achievement. With that, navigating the challenges of the students in the campus from bustling corridors to quite study nooks, our university is a melting pot of ideas, aspirations and inevitably problems. However, through entrepreneurial mind course offers best aid to their concerns and demands that keeps holding the masses convenience, accessibility, and liberty to make things possible.
As part of our objective quest to provide solutions and best options on demands and concerns of the studentry lies a huge responsibility, embarking on an unprecedented journey allow us to understand the intricacies of the student campus obstacles, no more further businesses, we engaged in insightful interviews with fellow students is a necessity to gather common ground, informational data and to uncover their unfolding campus chronicle experiences. Along the way of conversation, we have seen their agonies, their exhaustion and complacency of their encounters.
In fact, we aimed to delve in excavating the abyss of their difficulties. Our team or group formed a good question that substantially target the roots and core level to understand the student better. In my end, I conducted online interview to provide mutual safe spaces and ample time in preparation of the sessions. I strategically do three game- session activity.
Tumblr media
To begin, delving into the heart of the matter, the first activity entitled “Campus Chronicles: Unveiling Challenges”, in this moment, individually, I allow them to share their stories behind about the University, their both positive and negative encounters, from administration management, environmental fulfillment and student satisfaction. Perhaps, I could be able to know their pages of stories and gradually can keep on track their challenges as well. In context, internet/signal connection, printing access stations, and the tons of garbage are the common problems and challenges they have seen and experienced in the campus. It was indeed not surprising, and I expected it already from their responses. The list may daunt but each challenge presents a gateway of creativity.
Tumblr media
Moreover, the second activity entitled “Crowd Sourcing Ideas!”, interestingly, this activity alone I could grasp ideas coming from them. Letting them think for their possible solutions to their own problems or challenges at school. I find it informative discussion to listen from their waving ideas that may help to create a ripple impact in our planned solutions. To provide consideration in their wants and needs. Thus, installment of internet/signal connection, printing outlets and trash bins encompassing all corners of the campus are their answers. Solutions for development thrives in environment that encourages individuals’ engagement and resiliency, embracing failure as a stepping stone to success.
Furthermore, the third activity entitled “From Ideas to Impact: The Journey to Implementation”, I see it mind-blowing knowing their responses in this activity. I asked them how it is possible and feasible. All I got, “maximizing the efforts and efficiency of the administration and the student council” are their answers. I am out words to give my comment as their responses leave an impactful realization – various administration and student council have seat in positions and yet the campus challenges remain unresolved. In essence, it has a remark of ineffective service from the university authority.
Tumblr media
And on behalf of the university, I hold my breathe for a second before I could explain both sides of the coins. I respected their humble answers and I let them also understand the dynamics of the administration and student councils’ responsibility and roles in so many aspects, as an individual, as a student and staff, as a leader, and as legitimate authority. It is better to deepen our perspective in a lens that we could see the cleavages lies within every problem. I believe that the true measurement of success lies in our ability to be critical, adaptive, and optimistic in transforming these ideas into tangible that make difference in every life of the fellow students. Exploring the variety of the campus journey of implementation, it is crucial to be steadfast in amplifying impacts toward the commitment of excellence as well.
At this very moment, brainstorming innovative solutions to the dynamics of their agonies of sufferings is quite challenging to the team because we are attempting to maximize the availability of the science and technology. Consolidating the ideas of the group we have generated to create a software application that aligns to the objective of the entrepreneurial mind goal, “income generation, sustainable development and innovation”. With that said, fear not, for where there are problems, there are opportunities.
The characteristic of our software application aims to help student’s academic affairs, create a section for chat box assistance, allows students to have a room for commissions as potential student freelancers, online market, online banking transactions, and digitalized transportation activity. This is designed to avail product-service centered objective where it provides good services and various products to utilized.
This software application improves individual accessibility, convenience and liberty that serves their own needs and wants around places they go. It could generate equal opportunities to developer, consumer and operators.
As a matter of fact, innovation is not solely a buzzword. It is a mindset, a way of approaching challenges with curiosity, and creativity to transcend the horizon. Together, harnessing the power of innovation to transform individuals into thriving ecosystem players where every problem is opportunity waiting to be seized. Collaborate and create innovative future and beyond.

A group of students and employees at a busy institution started observing a persistent problem: the inaccessibility of sanitary pads for underprivileged students. It became clear that many young girls were being impacted by this issue, which was upsetting, embarrassing, and interfering with their schooling. The administration of the school set up a task force to address this problem and find a solution.
As they dug deeper into the issue, they heard firsthand student reports of the difficulties they encountered when their menstrual cycles started unexpectedly while they were in class. Many reported missing class time and feeling more stressed as a result of having to leave to look for pads in the nurse's office or ask friends for assistance.
Identifying the need for a more covert and approachable solution, the task group generated suggestions to enhance campus access to sanitary items. One creative concept that surfaced was the use of a smart vending machine made expressly to provide sanitary pads. They were motivated by comparable programmes in other public areas, such malls and airports, and saw an opportunity to use vending machines to give students constant access to basic hygiene supplies.
The group deliberated for a while before deciding to proceed with the idea of a smart sanitary pad selling machine. They felt that it would not only take care of the pressing need for menstruation product availability, but also foster an environment of candour and support surrounding menstruation among the student body.
The team studied the finest ways to set up and run a vending machine programme in-depth in order to guarantee the project's success. To choose the best machine and product solutions for their requirements, they spoke with suppliers of sanitary products and smart vending technology vendors.
Along with closely collaborating with educators, student reps, and school officials, the team also addressed any concerns or practical issues in order to gain support for the programme. They managed to raise the money for the initial setup and recurring maintenance charges by combining funds from the school budget with grants from outside sources.
Students' reactions to the installation of the smart vending machine were largely positive. They valued the privacy and ease it offered, enabling them to quietly obtain menstrual products without interfering with their regular schedules. With time, the vending machine proved to be an invaluable tool for students, easing the anxiety and discomfort that accompanied menstrual crises at school.
The team gained important insight into the value of collaborating with various stakeholders, paying attention to students' requirements, and using creative thinking to solve practical problems while putting the smart vending machine into operation. They also learned about the value of proactive problem-solving and how it may enhance kids' educational experiences and general well-being. In the end, the project's success confirmed their dedication to fostering an accepting and inclusive atmosphere where all students feel appreciated and have the tools they need to achieve. B
Navigating Student Life: Uncovering Common Issues Through Interviews
In an effort to gain insight into the diverse challenges faced by students in their daily lives, our group conducted interviews with 50 students representing various demographics, backgrounds, and educational institutions. The objective was to identify common themes and recurring issues related to everyday necessities such as food, transportation, sanitary products, and more.
The interview process began with the selection of a diverse sample of 50 students, ensuring representation from different age groups, genders, socioeconomic statuses, and cultural backgrounds. Semi-structured interviews were conducted to allow participants the freedom to express their perspectives and experiences openly.
Our team spoke with fifty kids from different origins, schools, and demographics in order to obtain insight into the range of difficulties that students encounter on a daily basis. Finding recurrent themes and problems pertaining to needs including food, transportation, sanitary products, and other items was the aim of the study.
In order to guarantee representation from a range of age groups, genders, socioeconomic origins, and cultural backgrounds, a broad sample of fifty students was chosen before the interview process got underway. Participants were given the opportunity to freely share their opinions and experiences during semi-structured interviews.
Participants were questioned about the difficulties they faced in providing for their basic needs—such as food, transportation, personal cleanliness, educational materials, and social activities—during the interviews. Asking pointed questions was intended to identify particular problems, coping mechanisms, and recommendations for development in each area.
Key Findings:
1.Food Insecurity: Concerns regarding food insecurity were voiced by 8% of students, who were mostly from low-income families or those who were living away from home. Many said that because of financial limitations, they either skipped meals or relied on cheap, frequently unhealthy dietary options.
2. Transportation Issues: Another frequent issue that came up was transport, particularly for students (22% of respondents said they commuted to and from campus). Long commutes, erratic public transit, and expensive transport were among the problems that limited students' access to school and restricted their mobility.
3. Sanitary Needs: A number of female participants emphasised this by pointing out that 36% of them faced difficulties managing their menstrual hygiene, such as stigma associated with menstruation and limited access to reasonably priced sanitary goods. A few expressed that their inability to consistently purchase sanitary pads affected their confidence and comfort levels throughout their periods.
4. Wi-Fi Booster: 10% of respondents answered this challenge. In college or dorm environments, Wi-Fi signals may not reach every spot, creating dead zones with poor or nonexistent internet connectivity. Students who depend on Wi-Fi for research, academic work, and communication may find this frustrating.
5.Fan forHeat Relief: Eighteen percent of fans voiced concerns about the excessive temperatures on campus. In comparison to alternative cooling options like air conditioning, fans typically have lower upfront costs and ongoing operating costs. This makes them a sensible choice for students, particularly those who are on a low budget or who live in communal housing or dorms where there may not be much control over the temperature.
6. Academic Resources: Six percent of students said that they had trouble paying for academic resources like computers, study guides, and textbooks. The expense of textbooks and the scarcity of digital resources were seen as major obstacles to academic achievement.
In conclusion, the interviews yielded significant insights into the various and complex obstacles students encounter when attempting to fulfil their basic need. The results highlight the significance of tackling concerns including food insecurity, accessibility to transportation, menstrual hygiene, and the availability of academic resources in order to promote the success and well-being of students. To address these issues and provide a more encouraging atmosphere for kids to succeed, focused interventions and policy measures are required going forward.
As an entrepreneur, there are a number of strong arguments for concentrating on sanitary pads as a product. First and foremost, meeting women's requirements for menstrual hygiene is essential to both social justice and public health. Access to reasonably priced and clean menstruation products is a challenge faced by millions of women globally, and this can have detrimental effects on their productivity, well-being, and general health. Second, there are lots of chances for innovation and entrepreneurship in the sanitary pad business. There is opportunity for market expansion and differentiation given the rising demand for pleasant and sustainable goods and the growing knowledge of menstrual hygiene. In addition to capitalising on a profitable industry, companies may contribute positively to society by providing affordable, high-quality, and environmentally responsible sanitary pads.
Purchasing menstrual hygiene products also supports the larger objectives of women's empowerment and gender equality. By giving women the tools to confidently and dignifiedly manage their menstrual health, entrepreneurs help dismantle social taboos and enable women to fully engage in all facets of life, including work, education, and community service. While there may be entrepreneurship prospects in other sectors, such food transportation, focusing on sanitary pads is a strategic move that aligns with goals of social impact, market potential, and gender equality promotion. It is crucial for entrepreneurs to select business endeavours that not only provide financial gains but also positively impact society and solve urgent needs.
One of the most crucial lessons for a team working to produce a product that specifically benefits women is the need for varied and inclusive viewpoints at every stage of the development process. Additionally, it's critical to comprehend and share empathy for the range of difficulties encountered by kids, spot creative opportunities, work well with others, and use practical insights to promote real change.

•Cultivating Innovation and Empowerment
Students who engage in entrepreneurship are instructed to adopt a growth mindset, which is an attitude that sees obstacles as opportunities for one's own development. Entrepreneurs are accustomed to forging new paths, adapting to changing circumstances, and learning from both setbacks and victories. For students, this attitude shift is quite advantageous. It encourages people to step outside of their comfort zones, embrace ambiguity, and persevere in the face of setbacks.
•Boosting innovation and inventiveness
Identifying holes in the market or developing novel solutions to problems that already exist are often the starting points of entrepreneurial activities. Similar to this, students can innovate in their areas of interest by embracing the entrepreneurial spirit. Through entrepreneurship, students can go outside conventional boundaries and apply their creativity to solve problems imaginatively, whether they are launching community projects, generating groundbreaking research.
•Developing Self-Revelation and Empathy
An essential component of being an entrepreneur is taking chances. Entrepreneurs don't mind taking calculated chances and venturing into new areas in order to accomplish their objectives. In a similar vein, students who embrace entrepreneurship are able to overcome their fear of failure and accept uncertainty. They understand that rather than being barriers to advancement, problems are actually chances for advancement. Students who engage in entrepreneurship learn resilience, which increases their capacity to meet obstacles head-on and overcome them.
•Fostering Initiative and Leadership
Students' initiative and leadership are fostered by entrepreneurship. It forces people to own up to their ideas, rally others around them, and force them to work towards a common objective. Students with an entrepreneurial spirit become change agents, whether they are leading projects, organising gatherings, or supervising groups of individuals. Through these experiences, they acquire crucial leadership skills like cooperation, communication, and decision-making.
•Promoting Risk-Taking and Adaptability

•Integrating Theory and Practice
Entrepreneurship offers a link between theoretical knowledge and practical implementation. Students get the opportunity to apply what they have learned in the classroom to real-world scenarios, which helps them understand concepts better and acquire new skills. Entrepreneurship improves students' learning experiences through practical, problem-solving exercises, whether through new businesses or opportunities for experiential learning.
