Poupelle of Chimney Town, online una breve anteprima del nuovo film d’animazione di Studio 4°C

L’avventura fantasy di Akihiro Nishino debutterà in Giappone a Natale.

In vista dell’imminente debutto, previsto in Giappone per il 25 dicembre, è stato pubblicato in anteprima un breve video di tre minuti che mostra la sequenza iniziale di “Poupelle of Chimney Town”, il film d’animazione tratto dall’omonimo libro illustrato di Akihiro Nishino, realizzato da Studio 4°C (I Figli del Mare, Harmony).

La storia è ambientata in una città circondata da mura altissime, l’orizzonte è coperto da camini che riempiono costantemente l’aria di fumo. Nessuno in città sa come sia fatto il cielo. I protagonisti del racconto sono Lubicchi (interpretato da Mana Ashida), un ragazzo che crede nelle stelle e Poupelle (interpretato da Masataka Kubota), un uomo fatto di spazzatura che prende magicamente vita grazie ad un cuore caduto dal cielo. 

Il lungometraggio è diretto da Yusuke Hirota, che ha supervisionato le parti in computer grafica della trilogia di “Berserk - L’epoca d’oro”, mentre il character design è curato da Atsuko Fukushima (Genius Party, Robot Carnival). Le musiche per la colonna sonora sono state composte da Yuuta Bandou e Hiroki Kojima.
