Date: Sunday April 7th Album: Entomongaku Artist: Chypho Released: 2022 Genre: Ambient Review: Finally. Ambiance for bugs. Life can be beautiful again. It’s weird to say an album “sounds like bugs”, but each track here is carefully constructed to bring to mind specific insects and does so beautifully. While a great album in its own right, i gotta give this props for having a theme and sticking to it, especially because that theme is sick as hell. I want a sequel. Favorite Track: Army Ants

entomongaku by chypho! literal bug music. d'you know the artist is selling cassettes? i knew that vinyls have been back in fashion for quite a while, but cassettes? what year is it, man! also, it's not specified anywhere which is a bit of a bummer, but the cover art is grasshopper and praying mantis by kitagawa utamaro.

The first one was better tbh. Much more interesting. I did like the song "Scolopendra cataracta", though, centipedes are lovely!!
