It’s Your Lucky Day 🍀 🎰
If you don’t know where I was born and raised by now, let me give you a hint...
“What Happens In _________...
“Stays In ________...
Got it yet??? Yes indeed. I’m from #LasVegas.
The #EntertainmentCapitol that entertains capitol 😏 (hey I like that... I’m going to use that line in a hot song soon 🔥 🎶)
Anyways I digress... Back to my point...
I’m going to give you something...
Now while I strongly believe there’s #GoodLuck and there’s #BadLuck...
I truly believe that individuals “Create Their Own Luck” in this life. 💡
And I’m going to share with you all something that catapulted my luck half a decade ago... From my #RichDad
Study It... Remember It... Act On It...
(rinse and repeat also... Look below).
**************************
#RichDad
What did you learn about money in school?
I’ll tell you the answer in a second but first a quick reminder on the three types of education.
The first type of education is academic education. Academic education includes the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic.
The second type of education is called professional education. This is when people go to college, enter into an apprenticeship or obtain specific training on the job.
The final type of education is financial education.
Two centuries ago, when public schools began to pop-up, it was possible to lead a happy life with nothing but an academic education.
During the Industrial Age, colleges and universities came to prominence teaching the skills necessary to master medicine, law, engineering, etc.
We now live in the Information Age. While academic and professional education are still important, it’s the final education—financial education—that will separate the haves from the have-nots.
So to answer the question I posited in the subject line, the answer is nothing.
School has been designed to teach us to be good employees, that’s it.
The more the masses know about money, the less “the system” has a hold of us.
While your teacher may know how to locate a gerund in a sentence or calculate pythagoras theorem, they probably aren’t driving their 15-year old Honda Civic because their Porsche is “in the shop.”
