Hajime: Wow, it’s so beautiful…

Hajime: Look, Tomoya! The lights are sparkling! 

Hajime: And, there’s a giant Christmas tree over there…looks like the city’s been decked out in Christmas decorations already! 

Tomoya: Yeah~ It’s already Christmastime~ Somehow, I always feel more excited than usual when it’s this time of year~! 

Tomoya: And with Christmas comes the New Year. Good things just keep on coming! 

Tomoya: Yumenosaki Academy hosts an “S1” every season. On Christmas Day, there’ll be a giant StarFes! I bet it’ll be super crowded. 

Hajime: StarFes…I’m actually a bit nervous. It is an S1 after all, and nearly all the units will be participating…

Hajime: I don’t know how many people will come to the live this time. 

Tomoya: Ah, like the Halloween Party! 

Tomoya: The scope for the Summer Festival was also huge, right? And then they expanded Halloween Party even further. I can’t imagine how big the StarFes will be. 

Tomoya: The only thing I can determine is that the school will host StarFes on Christmas Day, so there’s no chance of a lighthearted and casual Christmas for us. 

Tomoya: And we’ll start training for StarFes soon. So I’m not even sure if we’ll be able to come out and walk around like this anymore…

Tomoya: Hajime, this is why you decided on an outing, right?

stupid thing i picked up on is how jarring the difference is between the eng / tw(+ the other servers?) translations for rinne's 'clothes shopping for the es xmas party' lines are,

twstars ; "This sort of style might suit us well, right?"

engstars ; "Think I'd totally slay wearing this?"

i can understand it being used as a funny sort of moment given the terminology, but it also twists the context (a little).

in the taiwanese translation, it includes the player/producer in the scenario; the underlying suggestion of rinne wanting to match fashion styles with you. an "us."

the english translation extracts the "we" from rinne's statement and replaces it with him asking for your opinion, wanting to hear what you have to say (a yes, preferably?) and vocalizing how he might rock whatever it is he's referring to. it sheds light on him instead.

it's probably not that big of a deal, i just wanted to put this out there as a silly little observation since the two translations provide different contexts + changes the set atmosphere. i suppose they're both charming in their own ways but engstars is just. meh. to me =x=)b

Hajime: I'm sorry for making you worry.

Rinne: Nah, don't mind it. My fault for jumpin' to conclusions so fast.

In fact, those grass growin' out there are delicious too. I also used to forage for them back when I was a li'l boy so I get ya, Hajime-kun.

I even used to go to the mountains to pick up some edible wild plants.

Thanks to that, I got some basic stuff down when it comes to edible grass. This one and this one can be eaten. This one's not. This one's edible too, but it's not really good.

Hajime: Wow! You didn't miss any! You're really knowledgeable about them!

Rinne: Hehe, told ya right? This ol' me won't ever lie ♪

This one's tasty if you blanch it a little. And this one's something that only Niki could munch on.

Also can I just point out how Hiiro, who’s actually Hajime’s classmate and therefore theoretically closer to him, calls him “Shino-kun” (last name) while Rinne calls him “Hajime-kun” (first name) right off the bat. I just think his shamelessness is hilarious LOL
