Since their inception two years ago, the Latin GRAMMY nominated pop phenomenon, CNCO has conquered the music industry as one of the most important hit-making groups today. ugh I am just mad and sad frustrated because.......my friend and I agreed that we’d go to an Enrique Iglesias (whom I love VERY much) and Pitbull (who I just enjoy for his harmless barbecue dad self) concert together and she’d bring a couple of her own friends too and I was like ok yay great totally good!!!!  and I was SO excited and listening to Enrique on repeat and we agreed to go like four weeks ago and we found the section we’d sit in and planned on just buying the tickets at the same time....but when I asked her if she was ready to buy the tickets one night three weeks ago she just asked to postpone it and just do it another night and I was like ok no problem since it was weeks away but then I asked again and she told me that her friends didn’t want to actually go because it was Halloween weekend (concert was on Sat. the 28th) but she still wanted to so I was like ok no problem but then she didn’t agree to buy tickets that night........and then FINALLY on Wednesday night says that she has “a lot going on that weekend and it’s too stressful to try to fit it in no matter how fun it would be” (literally her text verbatim) and I was really upset since I had been looking forward to it so much but tried to reason that if she had a big midterm or family coming to town or a club event that it wouldn’t be a huge deal.............but she LITERALLY just posted pictures of her going to fraternities for Halloweekend ~festivities~ and I was/am absolutely FURIOUS........like crying mad kind of mad.......like you knew what the date was the WHOLE time and also mentioned to me later that DESPITE the fact that it was Halloweekend you’d still want to go but then clearly changed your mind without telling me???????  like if she realized she wanted to go to frats and told me straight up that she wanted to do that instead I would be 1/3 as mad as I am now.......and she didn’t even try to hide it???????  like she posted evidence that she knew I would see ?????????????  and now I’m just upset because I’ve been thinking a lot about flakiness and fair weather friends because one of my housemates (I’ve learned) is incredibly flaky (like 6+ plans cancelled/forgotten in 2 months living together).  but for me cancelling on someone just because you want to do something else/are tired is just something I can’t bear to do?????????  like I promised a friend I’d go to her party last night even though when I was getting ready for it at home I told my flaky housemate that I was really tired and she said “oh why don’t you just cancel?” and I said “um I mean I gave her my word I would and it’s not like I’m sick or anything so I’ll just stick it out because I promised I would do it” and she just seemed floored and said “wow you’re a better friend than I am; I would have just cancelled” and it made me just think like...................I expect and hope people to uphold their word when we make plans and always try to see them through and make sure I keep plans I make even if I’m tired/have homework and so I don’t know if this is an unusual characteristic/too much to ask for of someone because college students are like this or if just the people I’m around or pieces of trash????? or if because I’m kind of a people pleaser/doormat that I expect other people to at least sacrifice a little for me?????  I don’t know but this has been bothering me.

Summer has officially arrived and for many, in order to make the most of summer, attending a summer concert in Toronto is a must! We’ve outlined some of our favourite Toronto concerts in summer 2017, as well as a few local music festivals.

Concerts at Budweiser Stage in 2017 (formerly Molson Amphitheatre)

The Budweiser Stage (formerly the Molson Amphitheatre) at Ontario Place is one of my favourite Toronto concert venues. These Toronto concerts in summer 2017 are very popular since the outdoor concert venue is nestled in beside Lake Ontario so on those hot summer nights, you get a lovely lake breeze. If you get a chance before the concert, check out the new waterfront park and trails on the eastern section of Ontario Place.
