What really sold me on this character arc for Cressida and the Cressida/Eloise relationship is when she’s confronted with the opportunity to spread gossip about Penelope getting assistance from Colin, but actively chooses not to. You can see her considering the opportunity to ruin someone she views as a rival, but ultimately decides to say nothing and walk away. What’s most important is how all this comes after Eloise calls her out for her cruel behavior towards the other ladies- Penelope in particular. Cressida literally tries to be a better person for Eloise and while that certainly wasn’t on my Bridgerton bingo card, I’m all for seeing how it plays out.
