I like that MyStreet CREATED a father for Travis, he needed one of those.

Terry is a good dad, and a good character. Honestly I'm sad we never see him and his wife, it would have been sweet to see Enki actually in a series - especially a flashback scene, since shes.. yknow, dead.

The Valkrum family is so tragic, and seeing Michael possess both father and son, twice according to the WAF scene where we learn Michael used Terrys own body and hands to kill Terrys father? that's so haunting, that is such a sad fate of a family.

Its really nice to know theres a chance it wasn't all bad for them. There may have been a time where Terry, Enki, and Travis were a happy family together until Michael came into the picture.

The tragic characters hopefully had a happy time in the past, and thats supported by the balcony scene in WAF - where Travis talks about his childhood.

I like that MyStreet created a happy family for a character that didn't previously have that life, even if it's not forever.

I want to draw Enki (Travis’ mother) but I’m scared to mess her up.

So.

Some HCs instead:

-I will probably change her name. Not a major thing . But. Noteable. Because it’s confusing. That or I’ll change the divine warriors name. Or make her the divine warrior reincarnated. That might be fun. But eh I’ll decide when I get to it.

-Her hair is black. Travis’ hair being white is a half-demon thing so it doesn’t make sense for hers to be white too. So she has black hair like the rest of the warrior tribe.

-Buff. Muscle. Because Valkrum men have a type

-Her eyes are white and pupil-less. Because I want to give her some funk

-despite being a Hunter, she loved animals, and would ensure to kill them in the most efficient, quick ways possible, and not waste a single part of their corpses. She’d find a use for everything.

-She was a little freaked out when she first gave birth to a tiny, grey, goat-hoofed, horned, tailed, white-haired baby, but she grew to love him after a while. He was kinda cute.

-literally no one could have killed her aside from herself. She was way too smart for that, not to mention a fucking tank. If the crew snagged her whilst she was still alive, they’d never have to worry about anything ever. Except maybe her trying to kill them. In which case. Run.

-Travis looks almost exactly like her. That said, he can’t even remember what she looks like, so he doesn’t see it in himself. He only sees his father, and he hates that. But she would have loved him regardless of what face he grew into.

aph!! i like to think that although the incarnations of the divine warriors r generally pretty similar, they do have some minor differences. for example, whereas the matron of the first war of the magi (irene) had one of the sets of wings on her head covering her eyes, the matron of the second war (mcd!aphmau) has both of them held back. this is bc whereas irene had lost her humanity (and therefore the ability to connect with mortals), aph hasn't - and, therefore, her eyes are open to the struggles of humanity. additionally, i took a lot of inspiration from honkai impact 3rd for these designs - in aph's case, i was inspired by elysia's herrscher of human: ego battlesuit and how it looks like a wedding dress (which a lot of folks have interpreted as an expression of her love for humanity, which is smth i want to convey w aph).

i think my favourite part of aaron's destroyer form is his seal (the thingy behind his head like a halo). i wanted to rlly play into the whole destroyer/devourer aspect of his abilities and domains, and i thought a black hole would fit perfectly! it also sort of (unintentionally) plays into how i see the dynamic between the matron and the destroyer and how they're both mirrors of each other; whereas the destroyer, well, destroys (and his black hole devours everything in sight), the matron creates and nurtures (seen in how aph's seal is almost like a white hole). i also wanted his armour to look a lot like the armour that shadow knights wear, albeit without all the spikes and spines and whatnot given that he isn't a shadow knight himself (shad's destroyer form from the first war probably looks a lot more similar to traditional shadow knight armour).

i'm lowkey suuper proud of how travis's keeper form turned out (even if i had to go back right at the end n fix it bc i forgot to add his tail 😭). i wanted this form to sort of be a mix between a high mage and a rogue: whereas the keeper embodies knowledge and magick, travis himself is a prankster who relies on cunning and trickery to gain the upper hand on his opponents. as a result, he's the only one who doesn't automatically manifest a weapon when he shifts into this form - instead, i feel like he chooses to rely more on magicks and witchcraft during combat.

katelyn's design was lowkey the hardest to pin down. originally, i wanted to go for something that was suuuper inspired by roman armour and had a copper and teal/turquoise colour scheme, but it wound up feeling too magical girl-ish and i scrapped it. i've retained the roman inspirations, but i headcanon that her flames are so hot they burn blue, so i settled on a blue-and-white colour scheme w some purple elements. i think my favourite part is her gauntlets! i feel like she uses them as an extension of herself/another pair of hands to punch with. the blue elements also lean into menphia's association with the moon - in ashes, ashes, tu'la is based on the roman empire and, as a result, is where werewolves originate from, and with werewolves having such close ties to the moon.... yeah. i'll probably do a post on tu'la later on at some point.

garroth's design is probably the one that's changed the least, but i'll still need to update his ref sheet anyway. i don't know if i conveyed it very well but the sort-of wing-things on his back are slabs of earth that can be shaped into a shield - originally i had him holding a shield but i wanted him to look a bit more divine warrior-ish so i retooled his design.

the boy! i was tossing up between having vylad or dante fill the role of the wanderer, but i settled on dante as i feel like vylad fits better as a sort of weird guide sort of figure within the narrative. plus, i have a real soft spot for dante and wanted him to remain in the limelight a little bit - i love his dynamic with garroth and laurance and i wanted to explore that further. i sort of wanted to play into his whole red-and-blue colour scheme that we see in canon diaries, but bc kul'zak is a nature deity (specifically of the wilderness), i wanted to incorporate some greenery into his design. i hope i've done an okay-ish job here - overall i'm pretty happy tho, but i can't promise that there won't be any tweaks in the future.

this is a redhead laurance propaganda spreading blog and i Refuse to apologise for it. i'd like to think that laurance's original colour scheme is similar to his justiciar form - lots of beautiful reds and golds and oranges to match the flames of his father's forge - but after he comes back from the nether with a Severe fear of fire he switches to the greens and browns that he's known for in canon. eventually he slowly begins to reclaim his fire and returns to the golds and oranges that he's introduced with (haha colour symbolism go brrrrrr).

RELIC HOLDERS , Travis

Let us begin…

Interestingly enough when I first came up with the concept of Travis I refused to read the wiki/watch the episodes and instead went entirely off of my memory- you can imagine that’s resulted in some chaos…

However, I’ve learnt to embrace my slightly non-canon complicit little man and I think you guys will too.

Biography

Born of the Demon Warlock and the Keepers relic holder, Travis was raised in Tu’la (Specifically Enki’s Island). In the beginning, both of his parents were attentive and loving as they were excited to see their son grow.

Things quickly began to change when Travis sprouted small horns atop his head. His mother was distraught, and for an unknown reason completely refused to care for her son after that. Each morning she would leave him by his fathers portal.

The Demon Warlock was not able to physically take care of Travis from the confines of the dimension that held him, but seeing the mistreatment his son was facing just for being a Demon made him angry. Whatever growth the Demon Warlock may have considered in his journey to be a good person now faded as he witnessed the truth before him.

He’d fought for the Demons the Divine Warriors had slaughtered centuries ago, and now he’d fight for his son. Even if it did make Travis a pawn in his twisted game- the game that never ends; eternal power and recognition.

Thus, Travis grew to be morally grey. He helped his father where he could, gladly listening to the whispers of how he would never be good enough. The thoughts consumed him, so did the promise that once his father was free the world would be theirs to run. This resulted in Travis lashing out and trying to break his father free from his inter dimensional prison one night.

By that time, Travis’ mother had found out exactly what was going on. She managed to stop her son in the process, heart breaking as he wept for she was actually speaking to him properly for the first time in years.

She held him in a hug and decided in that moment she should have never cared he was a demon. He was her son, and she loved him more than life itself. Taking him officially under her wing, she tasked him with delivering goods to various villages and with greeting visitors to the island.

Upon Tu’la breaking out into a war, Travis’ mother got concerned about his safety and ordered him to sail to Ru’aun and settle down in a small village so he’d never be found. She told him she’d find him when it was time to return- and so, Travis found Phoenix Drop shortly before the main team went missing for 15 years.

Now

Travis stopped filing down his horns a while ago, allowing them to grow to their natural length. To a demon, their horns are a sign of their power. Unlike many demons, Travis has 4 horns, 2 on each side. The curvature of them a sign of the damage done by filing them town, but otherwise very healthy horns sat atop his head. As well as this, his fingers gradient into black and markings decorate his skin. Lastly, a triangle tipped tail that’s always swishing side to side (and is also Dmitri and Naoki’s favourite thing to grab, despite Travis’ protests)

Travis was forced to absorb Enki’s relic (which he received from his mentor during the 15 years the main cast were gone) when he was put into a cell in the nether and the shadow knights attempted to take the locket which contained it from him. When he was alone, Travis absorbed the relic. Unimaginable power entered him, his life of immortality began, his father’s voice became quieter, his magic felt harmonising and his clothes changed to the robes he wears in the image.

Travis tore a portal open using his new magic abilities and stumbled out into the overworld where he immediately stumbled into Katelyns arms. The rest has been history.

Now restless upon finding out his mother is dying as the relic no longer grants her immortality and his mind occupied about bigger threats like his father, Travis constructed a small room under his and Katelyns house. Often this is where he hides away from them and comes up with the best way to tackle these various issues. His moral compass is once again slipping as the stress of the world feels only on his shoulders.

I renamed his parents- His father is Rían Valkrum and his mother is Céline Auguste.

He often goes by Travis Auguste to distance himself from the Demon Warlock. Auguste is the surname used by those that are direct descendants of Enki, however, so instead he just gets attention for that.

Also I forgot how the format works but hope you enjoy! I’m happy to be back (I’m being so Fr, I promise)

Dude I don't know if anyone else is a big fan of like aphmau like her old series are still watching like her old series mystreet and MCD (Minecraft diaries)

If anyone still a big fan of her I need a little help of some info

So the Divine warriors we don't really have that much information about them in general but we pretty much know like who they represent and now times shad is Aaron, Irene is aphmau, Esmund is Garroth, Enki is Travis but we don't know who Kul'zak and Menphia

now on to the conversation about who the two are, I seen people theorize that Vylad is Kul'zak I never thought of that I thought it was Laurence, but then I seen someone say that his eye is closed and supposedly missing like Zane and then made me question who does he truly represent it's really never confirmed but I kind of see the same thing because I also thought that too with my street season what six when angels fall Zane, Lucinda and Aaron were turned into relics to help aphmau defeat Michael/demon warlock but I'm making my own rewrite ordeal I will start explaining it soon and everything but it made me question who Kul'zak is is he Zane, Vylad, or Laurence

Now Menphia I always thought she was Lucinda, from day one as soon as we figured out that aphmau was Irene and everything I always thought it was listened up because Jess when writing Minecraft diaries mentioned that Memphis was a Magic's user aka a witch and my brain went automatically to Lucinda, but Menphis title is the Fury I never took that into consideration if I'm being completely honest and I see people say Menphia is kaitlin same thing with like Zane I see it but they never really say

Because little information I gathered here and there the Divine warriors reincarnations always have similar looks to the Divine warriors like Irene being really identical to aphmau same thing with shad he is very identical to Aaron Esmund looks like Garroth Enki looks like Travis but Kul'zak looks like Vylad? But there's nothing confirming that and Menphia looks like listen to despite them having different skin colors she looks like Lucinda and is a witch like Lucinda

Every reincarnation has similarities to the original live either it's the hair the eyes the face the way they act or just completely looking exactly like them even if it's just Minor details they look exactly like the divine but again it's never confirmed and I need help I guess someone has more insight to it than I do or notice something that I didn't even though I watched all of the Minecraft diaries series like 50 times I like watching it over and over cuz time to time I realize something different that I never noticed before and maybe someone else noticed something that I didn't and I just need help in my valid for thinking Kul'zak is Zane and Menphia is Lucinda or am I completely wrong?

Something that will always get me is the truama that would follow a divine reincarnation for the rest of their life.

Aphmau, Claire and Ein will never know the true pain and suffering Irene took on to rid the world of evil, the healing she did or the love she spread so that one day all Ru'Aunians could be happy.

Aaron will be forever reminded that those who are misunderstood will be seen as plagues of the land, and how easily those who are undermined can be thrusted from their lives and shadowed into nothing. Jacob will come to live that same fate, until he is pushed to the edge and snaps back at the hand that feeds him.

Travis will forever feel like a disappointment amongst the vast ever growing library of his ancestor, Enki constantly breathing down his neck. A reminder that his existance in the long run is a eons planned out mission for Enki to become knower of all, that his greatest grandfather will continue to collect family spirits to keep the library and his life going, until the world fizzles out.

Zenix will live with the overbearing guilt Esmund never felt, the sickening hunger and shame, an animalistic need for blood and viscera that will never be quenched until all life in the Overworld is stomped out.

Keori will live with shame, knowing she helped continue the oppression of her own people under her father's crown, against Menphina's own teachings and beliefs.

Modzilla will continue to live. Kul'Zak never dies. Afterall, he wasn't one of them, was he? He couldn't simply put himself to sleep and return a new soul. He will live on, walking the realms carrying the sins of the divine on his shoulders, continuing their mission of fighting off the Void, until the Void calls out to him like it does all dimension hoppers and he answers, returning home to once and never was. Tommy will live as a disgrace. Knowing he was the attempt for his 'father' to try and be like those divine he so missed. That science for once could not outsmart magic, and that he will forever be a mistake. Knowing that when his father looks at him, all he will see is a life wasted, a soul made yet given free will. Maybe one day the two will forgive each other. Tommy will not have to live with that pain, Monty will never die. He's too tired at this point, he has too much work, the Void, it still calls, and one of these days he'll have to listen.

Divine Warriors

Here is some info dump about MCD's Divine Warriors in my rewrite, not all of this is known to the public of the mortal realm (especially the stuff about Shad.)

Irene the Matron: There isn't much known about Lady Irene's past, the only evidence they have are the scriptures Enki had written. Though most were burned. It is a common concept that she grew up in a small village (later Scaleswind) in Ru'aun. born from the ash of a god they say. She is incredibly strong, having healing magicks and the ability to bring those back from the dead as well as other abilities (mainly dimensional), Irene did not have a weapon. She can also change her form into a man but she rarely ever did this and it's said that she hated the form. After her disappearance (presumed death) which was 40 or so years after the fight with Shad. She was worshipped more commonly, which her worship later became widespread. Irene is worshipped as the god of medicine/health, the afterlife, agriculture and hope. She is associated with doves (because of her wings) and lavender, around churches and royalty/nobles homes, you will see statues of doves and fields of lavender. It's said that natural forming fields of lavender are places blessed by Irene. Although mainly worshipped in Ru'aun she is seen and heard all over the world.

Menphia the Fury: She grew up in Tu'la near the capital, one of the very few in Tu'la who was human. Menphia came from a well off noble family, she was a strong girl who could wield almost any close combat weapon. She became one of the princesses' guards at the age of 19. There was a rumor that Menphia and the princess were having an affair but it was never denied nor confirmed. She became a protector of Irene and later one of the Divine Warriors, she also had a pet tiger. Her magicks are very limited but they consist of strength and speed. Menphia used multiple different close combat weapons (swords, maces, battle axes, etc). She died during the fight with Shad to save Enki. She is worshipped mainly in Gal'ruk and Tu'la and usually by guards or soldiers. She is worshipped as the god of rage, strength, war, and courage. She is associated with tigers and fire. Her statues always have a tiger at her legs.

Shad the Destroyer: Not much is known about Shad at all, Enki himself destroyed practically everything that he had written about Shad. Them and Irene were close, the common conception was that they were lovers. Irene and Shad had a fight because he was a danger to mortals. Irene sealed Shad deep inside a mountain for 10 years, he later escaped and caused havoc. Although Irene and many of the other warriors had pushed her to their breaking point it was Shad himself who decided to be spiteful and become the Shadow Lord. Xavier was the first ever shadow knight. Their magicks consist of strength, telekinesis, and break dimension barriers. She can change their form much like Irene, to a woman, man, or a form of neither. He seems to enjoy this unlike Irene. Many depictions of Shad are different in gender because of this. Very few mortals worship him but she is seen as the god of deception, chaos, death, and tragedy. He is commonly associated with crows and lily of the valleys.

Enki the Keeper: Enki had many journals detailing both his and the other warriors lives yet he either burned most or hid them away, very few were actually found. He grew up in a home of warriors in Gal'ruk but despite this he became a scholar. He is known to have been in love with many, Menphia, Irene, Esmund's brother. Likely Xavier too. He was born without any magicks but he did know a bit of witchcraft. His abilities after getting a relic were; un-human observation, speed, and levitation. Enki barely fought but when he did he used an ink brush (much like Qiu Yongsi from Tianbao Fuyao lu). Enki died 5 or so years after the battle with Shad. He is worshipped in Gal'ruk and is a common figure head for literature. He is the god of; ink and paper, literature, language, and love. Enki is commonly associated with owls and snow.

Esmund the Protector: Much is known about him as he was the eldest son of one of the most well known historians, Ruthin Ro'meave. He grew up in Ru'aun, he became a guard and later became a Divine Warrior. Esmund was commonly known for his beauty that rivaled Irene's. He was deeply in love with Irene which caused a strain between Irene, Shad and Esmund. His younger brother was horrifically injured during a battle while under Shad's watch which caused Esmund to become even more resentful of Shad. Despite wanting to help defeat Shad he decided to stay behind and protect. He died 30 years before Irene's disappearance. He is worshipped in Ru'aun usually by Lords of villages seeking protection. He is the god of; protection, safety, loyalty, victory, and family. Esmund is associated with shields and jewlary.

Kul'zak the Wanderer: They grew up near the docks of Tu'la, they were a meif'wa. They helped with travel when ships docked on Tu'la. Kul'zak was the first Divine Warrior after Irene, and a nomad. They were a very good bard and a little mischievous. They were the oldest of the Divine Warriors and the one to have kept them all together. After the Divine Warriors split they traveled and spoke of legends for 10 years before dying. Unlike the other Divine Warriors they aren't worshipped in one place, they are worshipped as the god of; travel. merchants, alcohol and music. Kul'zak is associated with intoxication and the flute.

I find that it's weird to try and explain how the Enki Stronghold within my rewrite works, so give me an ear and let me try to explain it;

Enki's thirst for knowledge, to become all knowing in every way possible, came to consume him. His last few years of a mortal life left him withered and old, being taken care of by his children and grandchildren, but still, his hunger to be the true 'Keeper' plagued him day and night.

Finding a way to keep himself alive forever was difficult, but with the use of his own magics he created a statis chamber of sorts that forze time in a small, concentrated area, where he kept his mortal form, seperating his soul from the body it once controlled. As long as his body was safe, he could seemingly live forever. Only flaw was he was unable to leave the vacinity of his own body, being stuck now in his own strong hold for the rest of eternity.

Because of his children and grandchildren's devotion to him, it became tradition amongst the Valkrum bloodline for Enki to own part of your mind. That he would always be there, observing what you see and knowing what you know.

Any soul born to or connected to the Valkrum blood belonged to Enki. He was the Keeper, he was the family patriarch.

Or course, the only one who didn't give him perfect and total respect was the Demon Warlock, a man tied for eternity to the Enki Stronghold, originally to pay for the havoc he caused amongst Gal'Ruk, but eventually tied for his marrige to Enki's at the time current successor, a woman funnily enough named after her own ancestor.

The stronghold's library is described as endless, the knowledge of centaries of generations filling the shelves. The souls of past successors and connected family roam the stronghold, a large family that keep each other close no matter what.

While Enki had originally built the stronghold as a place to keep the knowledge he held safe, upon Enki jr.'s exile from the tribe they called home for a near millenia, it now became the center for a new village, lead by Enki jr. herself. A home for fhe unwanted and lost, who were sadly drawn to the island as Enki's own hunger for knowledge beckoned those with it to come, even if against their best will.

Jr. was the first of the Valkrums to ever go against Enki's wishes, to ever spit in his face (literally) and doing whatever she so pleased.

Yet even so, upon her ascension to that of 'Realm Protector', some said they swore they could see their ancestor shed a tear.

When Travis asked to leave the island, it was actually his father who was against it. He told Travis it wouldn't be safe out there for him, not with his demon genes, and with how seperated they were from places like Ru'aun. Yet, even so, Enki encouraged him. It seemed Jr.'s rebelious nature against him made him soften a little. Enki eould claim it would help their mission, to gain more knowledge, to learn all the world had to offer.

So, Travis left. For a time, at least. For about 5 years, until he came home, saying he felt horrible for not being there to help take care of his mother's comatose body, that he felt a obligation to help the people of their village in her absence.

Even if Travis would not talk about his time away from Gal'Ruk, Enki knew. Enki had seen all of it through Travis's eyes after all.

Yet the fasination, when around 10 years later, a group of individuals housing his old friend's souls show up before him, asking for his help.

If Enki had been a colder man, if Jr. had never been the rebelious soul she was, if Travis was never his favorite, he may had turned them away at the shore, but this time, he would be willing to make an exception, for some old friends, whether they knew it or not.

Time for WENDELL'S WACKY MCD HEADCANNON

This time, the Demon Warlock and Travis!

It is my personal headcannon that Travis's mom wasn't a descendant of Enki, but she came from a long line of priestess of Enki. Or the old Enki.

In my headcannon I believe that Enki and the Demon Warlock are one in the same. He was an all powerful Divine Warrior, one whose job was to keep information and learn magic. That magic came at the cost for once they had the necessary magic, they needed more.

Having power isn't enough for those in and with power always want more. Enki, who was once a symbol of education and spreading knowledge for all one day, just disappeared. Some say they got lost on the path of life, others say they went searching for knowledge that would lead to immortality for all.

Well, the last part does contain some truth. For a keeper is only a keeper if they can contain their knowledge. Enki was getting older, and death was drawing near and they could not handle the idea of mortality. So they turned to magic that even they forbade themselves from using. Magic that traded lives by the hundreds.

Enki succeeded in having their body live forever, but they died that day. Their soul twisted, corrupted, and split that there was now two pieces. A kind soul left to be reborn, and HIM. A man so corrupted by magic that he only knows hatred and greed. The Demon Warlock.

Palacia Valkrum (name derived from word Palace)

White hair, emerald colored eyes just like Travis himself! The main color to represent her magic and her in general is emerald green. She might've looked delicate and innocent in her day, but was extremely skilled in magicks, so much so she sealed the Demon Warlock to the Enki Island.

A bloodline descendant of Enki the Keeper.

Micah (Michael) Estieres (name meaning: 'he who is like god' thought it would be ironic sorry)

Black hair, golden-amethyst colored eyes. When in demon form his eyes turn completely amethyst and snake-like. His main magic color is purple. This is the Demon Warlock before he became corrupted, his original name was Micah but due to years of word of mouth people mistakenly began calling him Michael (true story by one of my friends).

Demons in my rewrite are tribal warriors, they were alive during times of Irene, but as of the current timeline their whereabouts are unknown, but suspected to live in the Gal'ruk region.

They are nomads, and seek knowledge, being creatures that worship Enki like many of the Gal'ruk region. They move around the entire region for a place to call home, just as they did during the times of Irene.
