well, come and get it now,
when jake agreed to go bar hopping on a regular wednesday night with his friend group, he was not expecting the chain of events that would lead to where he was now.
sure, he was hoping for a good time, especially since wednesdays were designated ‘dollar beers’ and the usually expensive alcoholic drinks were at a more accessible price. it was the perfect opportunity for broke college students to go out and get drunk while on a budget.
that was why he did not put up much of a fight when jay let him know about their plan for the night, quickly coming to terms with the idea that he was going to have to show up to class horribly hungover. he knew no matter how many excuses he offered, jay was not going to take no for an answer.
so, at 8 pm, jake took one last look at himself in the mirror, psyching himself up for what the night had prepared for him, before heading to jay’s place.
come and get it now.
“you made it.”
jay commented as soon as he propped the door to his apartment open, a satisfied smirk adorning his face.
jake trailed behind his friend like a lost puppy, a bit anxious and painfully sober. once they reached the nicely decorated living room, the group was finally complete.
by the look of it –if the others’ flushed cheeks were something to go by–, the night had already begun.
his friends were chatting loudly, the sound of laughter and alcoholic beverages being passed around filled the otherwise neat area. the cold night air made him shudder as he joined the group, the smell of weed coming from the balcony making his lungs burn.
baby, show me what you’re doing,
before he knew it, jake found himself surrounded by sweaty bodies, the stuffy air enhancing the effect of the weed he had smoked earlier. the music blasting out of the multiple speakers scattered around the bar, the bass making his body feel numb.
jake joined his friends, dancing with not a single care in the world, the concerns about school quickly slipping out of his intoxicated mind.
it felt great to finally be able to relax for once.
however, just as he was starting to enjoy the night, he somehow managed to make a fool of himself.
“fuck,” jake yelp, utterly embarrassed. “i’m so sorry, i swear i didn’t mean to spill your drink!”
come and turn around.
“you can make it up to me by getting me a new one?”
the sound of your melodic voice made his head tilt upwards, following the source, shame washing over his body when he got a look at you.
you were hot.
a little stunned by your pretty face, he struggled to say something.
“o-of course!” he blurted out a little too loudly for comfort, and jake’s cheeks grew hot when you giggled at his awkwardness.
we only met each other just the other day,
“i take it this is not your scene?” you wondered out loud, obviously trying to start a conversation with the cute boy.
“uh, something like that,” he mumbled, scratching the back of his head, visibly nervous. “i don’t usually go out on weekdays, especially when i have class morning classes the next day.”
“i see,” you hummed, thinking about your own morning classes tomorrow. but who cared, right? have fun now and deal with the consequences later.
“so, uh, what’s your program?” you smiled to yourself at his attempt at keeping the conversation alive, relieved to know he interested in you enough to engage with you.
“chemistry.”
his eyebrows shot up at your words, impressed.
“no way, i wasn’t expecting that.”
“yeah? what’s yours?”
“physics.”
you gasped loudly, feigning shock, and he smiled abashedly.
“good thing i’m into nerds.”
but you already got me feeling some type of way.
you were so bold with your words, so smooth with the way you flirted with him. your honey-like voice had him blindly agreeing with you, almost in a trance-like state. you could be asking him to trade his soul for a chicken nugget and he would instantly agree, no questions asked.
the way you blinked at him, long lashes fluttering so innocently as your glazed over eyes stared straight through him, spiking up his heart rate. your body leaned closer with his every word, fingers toying with a loose strand of your silky hair in such an endearing way his fuzzy mind could not comprehend.
it had to be illegal to be this attractive.
and you were guilty as charged.
now, if i could figure it out,
one thing led to another and soon your lips were on his plush ones, leaving a kiss that felt like a cup of hot chocolate in the winter. warm and sweet.
jake was able to shake off the initial surprise and deepened the kiss. one hand found its way into the nape of your head, pulling you closer, and the other to the small of your back. his touch was hot and reassuring, allowing you to get lost in the feeling of his mouth on yours.
your short dress rode up revealing more of your thighs as you reached for his broad, strong shoulders for support, your weight leaning on his athletic body. and to your delight, you could already feel the hardening bulge in his pants.
he pulled away, his breathing uneven and lips swollen, appearing dazed.
“wanna get out of here?”
i’d take you back to my house so we can meddle about.
jake barely managed to lock the door before you were pushing him against it, arms going to wrap around his neck to bring him in for a kiss. your hungry lips on his, your hot body against him, the scent of your perfume. the combination of sensations overwhelming his senses and leaving him panting for air.
he couldn’t get enough of you.
jake noted to thank jay later for almost dragging him out of his house.
your ministrations, the gentle but eager touch of your hands and your searing lips on his sensitive neck had jake struggling to keep up, far too aroused to think straight. his pants had become considerably tighter since he met you earlier. and he couldn’t help but push his hips into yours, searching for some much needed relief.
the giggle you let out at his desperate attempt at humping you had a frustrated whimper almost escaping the poor boy.
so pretty.
“aw, is my puppy getting impatient?” you asked in the most taunting tone, getting off on teasing him.
“y/n, please, i need something,” jake pleaded, cock throbbing in his jeans. “anything.”
and who were you to deny such a polite boy?
somehow you both managed to stumble into his room, hands never leaving the other.
‘cause it’s not just a figure of speech,
jake’s body fully sprawled on the bed trembled when you brought a hand to cup the tent in his jeans. his groans only grew louder, raw with desire as you slipped your hand under the fabric and made direct contact with his length.
jake thought he was having a fever dream from how stupidly hot his body felt. each caress of your soft hands had him weak on the knees, hips bucking to follow your touch, not caring about how needy he seemed.
your panties were drenched as you felt him up, mouth watering at the thought of his dick fucking your throat until you choked.
but that could wait. what you needed right now was his mouth on your dripping core.
you got me down on my knees.
“fuck, please,” he whined, “let me taste you.”
jake looked at you from his place on the floor, looking all desperate to get his hands on you. you could see his pretty eyes shining even in the darkness, a glint of need letting you know just how much he wanted you.
slowly, you lifted your dress to reveal your underwear, your fingers teasing the hem of the garment.
he swallowed, his mouth uncomfortably dry. his own fingers itched to reach for you and get your panties off himself, too eager to get more of you to wait.
your eyes scanned the boy in front of you, eyebrows scrunched together, a bead of sweat dripping down his temple. despite your limited vision, you could easily make out the outline of his cock in his pants. you almost wanted to jump straight into business just to get a look, wondering what shade of pink it was.
key word: almost.
“what’s wrong, puppy?” you teased, biting back a smirk. when he only huffed in response, you decided to push further. “speak up, sim, i asked you a question.”
his hard cock twitched from the confines of his jeans at your tone.
you looked annoyed, tapping your foot impatiently as you waited for an answer.
“i need you, please,” his words came out slurred, too horny to care.
you nodded, raising a brow at him. “it wasn’t that hard now, was it?”
his body almost vibrated with excitement when you pulled your panties down your legs. you stepped closer to him once they hit the floor, and his eyes immediately shot to the discarded piece of clothing, breathing getting heavier when he found the wet patch at the crotch.
among the wide range of traits you possessed, liar wasn’t one of them. the sight of him, on his knees, begging to please you, had you rubbing your thighs together. your neglected core dripping with arousal.
“be a good pup and eat me out.”
jake perked up as soon as his brain processed your words, scooting closer without a care for his knees. he hummed when you gasped at the feeling of his tongue licking a stripe up your slit.
it’s getting harder to breathe out.
jake groaned when you pushed his head closer, his nose digging into your pussy and putting pressure on your clit. his hands immediately went to grab at your thighs, gripping them for dear life.
he was enamoured with the way your hips bucked into his mouth, your plush lips letting moans escape. it was like music to his ears.
girl, just scream it out,
jake could barely breathe but he didn’t care. all he could think about was the intoxicating scent of your arousal, how sweet you tasted on his tongue. he could feel a mixture of your juices and his saliva drip down his neck, and he felt like he was about to cum in his pants like a bitch in heat.
his hips desperately humped the air, too engrossed in making you cum all over his face to feel embarrassed. your fingers tangled in his soft locks, tugging at the roots whenever his tongue swiped just right only egging him on to work harder.
tell me what you’re thinking about.
“j-jake,” you whined, feeling the knot in your stomach tightening at the speed of light. “don’t stop.”
bet, he thought.
if the way your thighs were trembling around his head was something to go by, he knew you were close.
feeling you fall apart just from his mouth only was driving him insane. he couldn’t wait to see you take his cock, velvety walls stretched around his thickness. he wanted to hear your sweet moans as you struggled to fit him whole, pussy too tight for such a big dick.
hell, just the idea if it had jake eating you out like he would never get pussy ever again. his skilled tongue poked at your entrance, trying to push it as far as he could, relishing in the squelching sounds filling the room.
“fuck,” he moan into your pussy when you pulled his hair a little harsher than before, the vibrations directly against your clit sending you over the edge.
you swore your mind blanked out for a second there. your orgasm washed over you like a tsunami, leaving you light headed. your body convulsed as if you were experiencing a demonic possession first hand, hips humping jake’s face like a rabid dog, riding out your high. and if it weren’t for jake’s grip on you, you would’ve hit the floor.
once you regained a hint of control over your body, you pushed his head away from your sensitive core.
to your satisfaction, jake looked as equally as fucked out as you. his once pristine shirt was now clinging to his toned body due to the sweat, his dark hair disheveled and sticking to his forehead. his pupils were blown out, chest heaving up and down at a concerningly fast pace.
you had him exactly how you liked men, utterly ruined.
with a sly grin on your face, you pulled him back up on his feet by his shirt. before he could yelp, your lips crashed against his in a heated kiss. jake stumbled towards you, unintentionally pressing your body into the cold wall behind you.
his hands grabbed your hips to pull you impossibly closer, need to feel more of you. your fingers wandered back to his hair, playing with the strands of silky hair and hissing against your lips when you pulled a little too hard.
his body felt like it had been lit on fire, the touch of his large hands almost burning you, leaving behind an invisible outline of his hand on your skin. the kiss you shared grew more passionate, more desperate with each passing moment, your tongues waltzing to the pace of your fast-beating hearts.
although you were enjoying the heated exchange, you both needed more.
no, i wanna see you undress now.
you hastily removed your clothes, tossing them somewhere in the room. jake followed suit, matching your eagerness, ready to pounce on you the moment he got the chance.
soon you found yourselves all over each other once again, hands touching and feeling up the other’s body, lips finding each other with a growing intensity.
jake placed you on his bed, looking down at you like you just escaped his wildest dreams.
i wanna hear you confess now.
“i want you to fuck me, jake.”

Christmas in Sol Fertilis
In the Catholic counties of Sol Fertilis, Christmas is a major holiday as it blends the Catholic Christian traditions with the Sol Fertilian cultural elements. Their variation of Santa Claus is named Pater Nativitatis. He has a companion named Comitissa Luminis. Pater Nativitatis, meaning Father Christmas in Latin, takes center stage as the benevolent gift-giver. Adorned in traditional Sol Fertilis attire, Pater Nativitatis embodies the spirit of generosity and blessings. Families eagerly await his arrival as he travels across the counties, delivering gifts that symbolize the cherished values of the heart, home, and prosperity. Pater Nativitatis becomes a unifying figure among the ranks. Comitissa Luminis, Pater Nativitatis' mystical companion and name meaning “Companion of Light”, enhances the Christmas celebrations with her radiant presence. Dressed in flowing garments adorned with luminescent motifs, she carries a lantern that represents hope, knowledge, and the enlightenment of the coming year. With her Romani heritage, her lantern also means resilience, wisdom, and nomadic traditions. Comitissa is not merely a companion but a symbol of the guiding light that leads the nation toward understanding, harmony, and wisdom during the festive season.
For the days leading up to Christmas, there would be Christmas trees being decorated and set up everywhere, along with poinsettias, wreaths, and garlands. The ornaments would look like acorns, pomegranates, wheat, quail eggs, and stars. There would be gold and white ribbons around it with Christmas lights that have red, black, green, blue, and purple. On the top, there would be a topper that resembles a crown with a lantern on it.
On Christmas Eve night, families attend the midnight Christmas Mass services in their county’s church, adorning their homes with Nativity scenes. In their homes, families would leave a bottle of sweet white wine for Pater Nativitatis and rosé wine with panellets for Comitissa. In the morning, families would open presents while having a light breakfast consisting of orange scones and coffee.
Throughout the day, every store in the county would be closed, causing many people to spend their day at home. Families would come together in households while lower ranks would celebrate in communal gatherings. There would be watching Christmas specials, either from government or network channels, listening to music from government-sanctioned musicians, or enjoying the folklore of Pater Nativitatis and Comitissa Luminis.
In the evening, families would have Festum Lucis, meaning Feast of Light in Latin, to commemorate the light that Comitissa has brought to their homes. In this banquet, families would eat the Lux Aves, which has Romani game birds such as quail, pheasant, and partridge. They are roasted with herbs and spices. Pater Nativitatis' Blessing Ham is a dry-cured ham roasted with rosemary, thyme, paprika, honey, salt, and pepper. Comitissa Luminis' Enlightened Seafood Platter is a Romani seafood and fish dish. Nomadic Pilaf is a rice dish that has Romani spices and herbs. Luminaria Fruit Salad has pomegranate seeds, grapes, apples, ruby strawberries, oranges, and mint, drizzled with red honey. Rosemary bread is often eaten as well. Finally, there is a Light of Wisdom Dessert Platter comprising Romani and Mediterranean desserts. They would include cannoli, sorbet, rice pudding, and semolina cake. To go with this, there is beer and sparkling wine, along with non-alcoholic options.
When night comes, families look at Christmas lights on public buildings and Households. They also consist of scenes of the Nativity, Pater Nativitatis and Comitissa Luminias, and other Christmas decorations. Finally, they carry around luminaries, symbolizing the Romani when they had to travel through the night.
At the end of the day, families would make a final prayer before heading to bed. On the next day, the Head of Households will start preparations for New Year’s celebrations.
Pater Nativitatis
Pater Nativitatis appears to be a handsome older, tall man of French/Germanic descent. He has silver hair and green eyes. He wears black robes adorned with gold and silver embroidery and a golden crown with rubies and onyx. His footwear is a pair of black traveling boots. He also wears a red velvet cape and a staff that is made of polished wood, wrapped with holly and the Lux Aves symbols.
He is also known as “Sexy Santa” in other countries.
Comitissa Luminis
Comitissa Luminis appears to be a young Roma woman with long black hair and a pair of chocolate-brown eyes. She wears a flowing and long white and gold ankle-length skirt and blouse, intricately patterned and adorned with Christmas stories. Her headscarf is white with gold embroidered stars. She also wears a shawl that has the colors black, red, green, purple, and blue, representing the colors of the ranks, along with gold Roma embroidery, coins, and beads. Finally, she wears a pair of light brown boots with golden toes as she walks around a lot.

How to Excel as a Barback: Understanding the Roles and Duties
The Key Player: What Exactly is a Barback?
When we think of a bar's service, bartenders often come to mind first. Their role involves chatting with customers, taking orders via the point-of-sale system, and crafting drinks. However, equally crucial to a smooth bar operation is the barback. This guide unfolds the essence of a barback, their tasks, required skills, and tips on hiring the right one.
What Is a Barback?
A barback is akin to a busser in a bar setting. Their primary responsibility is to ensure that the bartender has everything essential during service to maintain seamless operations: clean glasses, ample garnishes, stocked liquor, beer and spirits, ice cubes, and more. Barbacks, much like bussers, keep the service area clean, addressing spills and broken glass, and restocking from the walk-in.
For many, working as a barback is the initial step toward a bartender career. Their goal is clear: make the bartender's life easier, ensure smooth service, and enhance the overall guest experience. Barbacks are the catch-all problem solvers, whether addressing visible customer needs or resolving behind-the-scenes issues.
Responsibilities and Duties of a Barback: A Comprehensive Overview
Barback responsibilities vary before, during, and after shifts and can differ among establishments. Tasks are often prioritized daily based on urgency and specific zones of the restaurant. Here's a detailed breakdown:
Before Service Barback Tasks:
Arrive on time and clock in.
Put on the barback uniform.
Prepare clean rags for service.
Check and restock liquor bottles, mixers, and bar essentials.
Juice citrus, label, and date squeeze bottles.
Fill containers with garnishes.
Fill ice bins.
Replace beer kegs.
Restock counter items and clean surfaces.
Polish wine glasses.
Manage bar inventory.
During Barback Service Tasks:
Refill liquor and wine bottles.
Replace coasters and wipe down counters.
Manage dirty glasses and dishes.
Clean and polish wine glasses.
Fill water glasses for customers.
Run drinks to tables.
Clean used glasses.
Address spills and broken glass.
Assist bartenders as needed.
Inform security of issues.
Assist with POS system.
Pour drinks during peak hours.
Engage with customers.
Take out the trash.
After-Service Barback Tasks:
Wipe down counters.
Take out the trash.
Clean furnishings.
Polish glasses and dishes.
Set up and tear down the bar.
Restock for the next shift.
Unclog sinks.
Mop behind the bar.
Clean non-slip mats.
Organize alcohol deliveries.
Monitor liquor inventory.
Collect and handle dirty rags.
Coordinate with team members for closing tasks.
Hiring a Barback: The Key Steps
Given the odd hours of bar operations, barback positions are suitable for individuals with other daytime commitments or those aspiring for a bartending career. Hiring a diligent barback can alleviate pressure on bartenders, leading to better income and customer retention. Consider the following steps in the hiring process:
Type of Barback:
Determine whether you need a full-time, freelance, part-time, or contract barback.
Method of Recruitment:
Experiment with various hiring techniques, from online postings to industry contacts.
Job Description:
Craft a detailed job description outlining tasks, responsibilities, and required skills.
Interviewing Candidates:
Conduct interviews to understand candidates' skills, accomplishments, and objectives.
Training A Barback: Nurturing the Backbone of the Bar
Even experienced barbacks benefit from a thorough training program. This is an opportunity to introduce them to the business and the bartending team. Key steps in training include:
List essential products to keep on hand.
Introduce the barback to the team.
Educate on regular cleaning tasks.
Provide health and safety training.
Encourage questions and inquiries.
Familiarize with the beverage menu.
Assign a mentor for ongoing guidance.
A formal training program ensures that barbacks feel valued, crucial in a role often characterized by behind-the-scenes, thankless work. The job is fast-paced, physically demanding, and requires multitasking.
Conclusion: The Crucial Role of Barbacks
Working as a barback is often a stepping stone for aspiring bartenders. It offers valuable training, allowing individuals to grasp the fundamentals and intricacies of bar functions. Barbacks, the silent contributors to a bar's success, play a pivotal role in maintaining the bar's rhythm and ensuring a positive customer experience. Cheers to the unsung heroes of the bar—barbacks!

((TW: This party will explore darker themes such as violence in the form of vampire feeding and party drugs. Players have the option to push threads as far as as little as they wish in regards to these themes.))
In Vievecor City, a month-long celebration of wine has been an annual event for hundreds of years, a tradition that was started by the first VAMPIRES who came to the island.

THE DANCE FLOOR:
The Roşu Clan has opened the first basement of the Shard up for this supernatural community-only party. This space is normally used is normally used as a receiving area for the Roşu Clan, but tonight it has been turned into a dance floor with a DJ spinning dark synth beats. The air is filled with a mixture of blood and alcohol and might be very intense for anyone who is attending a vampire party for the first time.
There are two bars situated at either end of this space and alcoves along the two lengths of the basement where guests can retreat to if they need some privacy.
There are also guarded doors that lead places further below the Shard and these doors will be heavily guarded by Roşu Clan vampires or dark witches affiliated with the clan. Should anyone be caught trying to sneak down, they will be severely punished by the Roşu Clan.
(OOC: Players can try to enter any of these guarded doors and should they get too far, they will be found by clan vampires. Players are welcome to approach the admin to discuss scenario outcomes for any character who wants to try breaking this rule. ;))

THE BARS:
At the bars, guests will be able to find all sorts of alcoholic beverages for consumption. The only non-alcoholic beverages provided will be what is used in typical drink mixers. There is no food provided at this party. There will also be party drugs provided for guests who wish to enhance their partying experience.
Vast amounts is blood and blood-mixed drinks are readily available at these bars. Since this is essentially a vampire party, these drinks are on free-flow for the entire party with supernatural mixologists debuting their versions of blood drinks for any vampire guest who is interested. These beverages include blood wines, blood beer and even newly designed blood cocktails that will allow vampires to feel the effects of being drunk. Such drinks are not easily available outside of these parties. A majority of vampires in Vievecor City will use this opportunity to go wild and indulge and relive tastes and physical effects that they would not normally feel.
Apart from blood beverages, vampire guests are also able to approach anyone wearing a red LED collar around their necks to request to feed on them anywhere within party grounds. These people have volunteered to be fed from for the duration of the party and know and consent to the risks of being fed from by vampires. Vampire guests are cautioned not to lose control of themselves when they are feeding from volunteers.
(OOC: Players are welcome to have their characters volunteer to be fed from by vampires. They will have to wear a red LED collar around their neck for the duration of the party. Players are also welcome to have their characters provide alcohol for this party which will be served at these bars.)

THE ALCOVES:
The alcoves that line the lengths basement dance space are separated from the rest of the party by heavy drapes that can be pulled down for more privacy. Guests can use these spaces for whatever they wish, especially vampire guests who prefer a more private space to feed on volunteers.
(OOC: Given what goes on in these alcoves, the Roşu Clan has enlisted the help of prisoners to work on the clean-up crew. The Zamok inmates will be in charge of cleaning these alcoves over the course of the night.)
RULES:
Our Wine Festival Event will run from Jun 30th, 12pm EST to Jul 7th, 12pm EST. In-game, this takes place on Jun 30th, over the night of the vampire party and ends when the doors open at 8am the following day. Players are free to choose whether to participate or not, but it is highly encouraged for everyone to do so. Characters who do not know of the supernatural world will have to sit this event out but they will not be penalised for low activity.
Once the event has begun, we ask players to only post starters which are related to it. Please tag all new starters with #vcwinefest2023 and #vievecorcitystarter and @vievecorcitystarters. The open starter rules still apply!
We advise players to place prior threads on hold during our event week, however, this is not required.
Thank you for reading and HAVE FUN!

How to Create the Perfect Pizza Night: Tips, Tricks, and Pizza Pairings

Pizza night is a beloved tradition in many homes, offering a fun and easy way to enjoy a delicious meal with friends and family. Whether you’re having a casual evening with loved ones or hosting a special celebration, the perfect pizza night is all about the right balance of flavors, ambiance, and a little creativity. With the help of Pizza Depot, you can turn any regular night into a memorable pizza experience. Here are some tips, tricks, and pizza pairings to make your next pizza night a hit!
1. Start with the Perfect Pizza Menu
The foundation of any great pizza night is the pizza itself, and variety is key! When planning your pizza menu, consider a mix of classic flavors and unique combinations that will keep everyone satisfied. Here are some ideas to get you started:
Classic Favorites: You can’t go wrong with tried-and-true options like Pepperoni, Margherita, or a Veggie Supreme. These are always crowd-pleasers, especially for larger groups.
Specialty Pizzas: Mix things up with more adventurous options like BBQ Chicken, Hawaiian, or Meat Lovers. These pizzas add exciting flavor profiles and can cater to different tastes.
Create-Your-Own Pizzas: If your guests are looking for something unique, why not set up a pizza-making station? Let everyone choose their own toppings, sauces, and cheeses to create a personalized pie.
Pizza Depot offers a range of delicious options that can accommodate different preferences, making it easy to order a mix of traditional and specialty pizzas to satisfy every craving.
2. Pair Your Pizzas with the Perfect Drinks
A great pizza night isn’t just about the food; it’s also about the drinks that accompany it. Whether you prefer soft drinks, craft beer, or wine, pairing the right drink with your pizza can enhance the overall experience. Here are some tips for perfect pizza and drink pairings:
For Margherita Pizza: A light lager or pilsner, such as Steam Whistle Pilsner, pairs wonderfully with the fresh flavors of mozzarella, basil, and tomato sauce. These beers are crisp and refreshing, making them an ideal complement to a simple Margherita.
For Pepperoni Pizza: A bold, hoppy beer like an IPA can stand up to the spicy, savory pepperoni. Alexander Keith’s IPA brings earthy bitterness and citrus notes that balance the richness of the pepperoni.
For BBQ Chicken Pizza: BBQ chicken pizza, with its smoky sweetness, pairs perfectly with a medium-bodied beer like Beau’s Lug-Tread Lagered Ale. The beer’s malty sweetness complements the tangy BBQ sauce while the slight bitterness balances the richness of the chicken.
For Veggie Pizza: Light, crisp white wines like Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc go beautifully with a veggie pizza. The crispness of the wine cuts through the richness of the cheese and complements the fresh vegetables.
For Dessert Pizzas: If you're offering dessert pizzas like Nutella and banana or chocolate and marshmallow, opt for a sweet wine, like a Moscato, or a fruity cider that complements the sweetness without overwhelming it.
Offering a variety of drink options, including non-alcoholic beverages like iced tea or sparkling water, ensures that everyone will find a drink that pairs perfectly with their pizza choice.
3. Set the Mood with the Right Atmosphere
The perfect pizza night isn’t just about the food; it’s also about creating the right atmosphere. Here are a few tips to set the stage for a memorable evening:
Lighting: Soft, warm lighting creates a cozy, inviting atmosphere. Consider dimming the lights or using string lights for a relaxed vibe.
Music: Play some upbeat tunes to keep the energy lively or opt for mellow background music if you prefer a more laid-back vibe. Choose a playlist that complements the mood of your guests, whether it’s a fun playlist of modern hits or something more classic.
Setting the Table: Set the table with simple yet stylish dinnerware. Add a few candles or fresh flowers for a touch of charm, and don’t forget plenty of napkins for those cheesy, saucy bites!
Games and Activities: If you have kids or want to make things more interactive, consider adding games like pizza-themed trivia or a pizza-making contest where everyone competes to create the most delicious or creative pie.
Creating a relaxed, fun environment will allow everyone to enjoy their pizza and the company even more. You can’t go wrong with a casual yet well-thought-out ambiance that encourages good conversation and laughter.
4. Add Tasty Sides and Appetizers
While pizza is the main event, sides and appetizers can make your meal even more memorable. Here are some ideas for extra treats to serve alongside your pizza:
Garlic Bread or Breadsticks: A classic side that complements almost any pizza. Serve them with marinara or garlic butter dipping sauce for extra flavor.
Salads: A light, refreshing salad with a simple vinaigrette balances the richness of pizza. Consider a fresh Caesar salad or a mixed green salad with a tangy balsamic vinaigrette.
Buffalo Wings or Mozzarella Sticks: For an indulgent touch, add some crispy buffalo wings or gooey mozzarella sticks to the menu. These are always a hit with groups.
Dipping Sauces: Offer a variety of dipping sauces such as ranch, garlic butter, or marinara. These are perfect for dipping your crusts and sides.
These sides can add variety and texture to your meal, making it feel more like a full-on feast.
5. Don’t Forget Dessert
After enjoying a savory pizza meal, it’s time for something sweet to round out the evening. Many people enjoy dessert pizzas, which are a fun and unique way to finish your pizza night. Options like Nutella pizza with sliced bananas or a sweet cinnamon sugar pizza with frosting can satisfy any sweet tooth. Alternatively, serve some classic desserts like chocolate mousse, tiramisu, or gelato to add a touch of elegance to the end of your meal.
6. Stay Flexible and Have Fun!
Ultimately, the key to a perfect pizza night is making it fun and enjoyable for everyone. Don’t stress about getting everything perfect; just focus on creating an experience that feels laid-back and enjoyable. Everything You Need to Know About the Type 47 Liquor License—And Why It Matters
As you imagine your ideal restaurant or fine dining establishment, having a full bar is usually included in the picture. That's where the Type 47 liquor license comes in. For California companies looking to serve more than beer and wine, this license allows for a full dining and drinking experience. Whether you are new to the scene or wish to expand your existing business, having an understanding of the ins and outs of this type of license can get you on the correct path.

Why It Matters The right license can shape your business. With a Type 47 liquor license, you’re not just adding drinks to your menu – you’re enhancing the entire customer experience. A full-service bar can drive higher ticket values, extend customer stays, and increase repeat visits. It also gives your brand a competitive edge in California’s bustling hospitality scene.
Key Features of the Type 47 Liquor License:
On-site use only: Any alcoholic drinks have to be consumed in your restaurant.
Food-first concept: More than half of your overall revenue has to be generated from food, rather than booze.
Family-accessible: Children are permitted on the premises, as opposed to some licenses, which only serve adults.
Transferable: The license is transferable if you move or sell out, giving you added flexibility and value.
Full service of drinks: You are allowed to provide cocktails, spirits, wine, and beer, giving your customers additional options.
Compliance with RBS: Your staff will be required to receive training in compliance with California's Responsible Beverage Service standards.

What Is a Type 47 Liquor License? The Type 47 liquor license is also called the "On-Sale General for Eating Place" license. It permits licensed restaurants to dispense beer, wine, and distilled spirits for on-premises consumption. This means your visitors can sip a cocktail with their steak or have a glass of whiskey following dinner, all in your dining area.
This license is specifically designed for full-service restaurants. But don't forget, food needs to be the first priority. Restaurants must earn at least 50% of their revenue from food sales.
Comparison of Type 47 with Other Alternatives There are different liquor licenses offered in California, but the Type 47 liquor license is one that is specifically sought after by businesses that wish to serve spirits with food. It is different from:
Type 20 – Beer and wine only off-sale
Type 21 – Off-sale general (beer, wine, and spirits in retail stores)
Type 41 – Beer and wine on-sale for restaurants
Type 48 – On-sale general for nightclubs and bars (no minors)
Type 75 – Craft beer brewpub license with on-site food

Flavored Beer Market: Key Drivers Fueling Growth Through Trends, Innovation, and Shifting Consumer

The flavored beer market has experienced significant growth in recent years, driven by several key factors that reflect changing consumer preferences and industry innovations.
1. Rising Demand for Craft and Flavored Beers
A notable shift towards craft and flavored beers, especially among millennials and Generation Z, has been observed. These consumers seek unique and diverse taste experiences, leading to a surge in demand for beers infused with various flavors. This trend has prompted breweries to experiment with fruit-infused flavors and natural ingredients, catering to the health-conscious and adventurous palate of younger drinkers.
2. Innovation and Variety in Brewing Techniques
Breweries are increasingly adopting innovative brewing techniques to create a wide array of flavors. By incorporating locally sourced fruits and unique brewing processes, they offer distinctive products that stand out in a competitive market. This emphasis on creativity not only attracts consumers looking for new taste experiences but also fosters a deeper appreciation for the art of brewing.
3. Health and Wellness Trends
The global shift towards health and wellness has influenced alcoholic beverage choices. Flavored beers, particularly those with lower alcohol content and natural ingredients, align with consumers' desire for healthier options. This alignment has contributed to the growing popularity of fruit-infused and craft beers, as they are often perceived as more natural and less processed compared to traditional options.
4. Expansion of Distribution Channels
The evolution of distribution channels has played a crucial role in the market's growth. The rise of online sales and specialty beverage shops has made flavored beers more accessible to a broader audience. This shift has disrupted traditional distribution models, allowing consumers to explore and purchase a wide variety of flavored beers with ease.
5. Cultural and Regional Influences
Cultural and regional factors significantly impact the acceptance and popularity of flavored beers. In countries with rich brewing traditions, such as Germany, there is a growing acceptance of unconventional beer flavors. This openness encourages local breweries to experiment with new flavors, contributing to the diversification of the market.
6. Economic Factors and Market Dynamics
Economic conditions influence consumer spending on premium products like craft and flavored beers. In regions where consumers are willing to spend more on unique and high-quality beverages, the flavored beer market flourishes. However, economic downturns can pose challenges, as consumers may prioritize essential goods over premium alcoholic beverages.
7. Impact of Non-Alcoholic Alternatives
The emergence of non-alcoholic flavored beers has opened new market segments. Companies have capitalized on this trend, offering flavorful options without alcohol. This innovation caters to consumers seeking the taste experience of beer without the effects of alcohol, expanding the market's reach.
8. Sustainability and Ethical Considerations
Consumers are increasingly concerned about the environmental and ethical practices of the brands they support. Breweries that adopt sustainable sourcing, eco-friendly production methods, and ethical labor practices appeal to this demographic. This focus on sustainability not only enhances brand image but also aligns with the values of a growing segment of consumers.
9. Regulatory Developments
Regulations surrounding alcohol content, labeling, and marketing significantly affect the flavored beer market. In regions where regulations are favorable, breweries have more freedom to innovate and market their products effectively. Conversely, stringent regulations can limit marketing strategies and product formulations, influencing market dynamics.
10. Globalization and Cultural Exchange
Globalization has facilitated the exchange of cultural and culinary ideas, leading to a fusion of flavors in the beer market. Consumers are more open to trying international flavors, and breweries are inspired to incorporate diverse taste profiles into their products. This cultural exchange enriches the market, offering consumers a broader spectrum of flavor experiences.
In conclusion, the flavored beer market is propelled by a combination of innovation, cultural influences, health trends, and evolving distribution channels. As consumer preferences continue to evolve, breweries that embrace these drivers are well-positioned to thrive in a competitive and dynamic market landscape.

Non-Alcoholic Beer Market Trends 2025: Health-Driven Growth and Global Expansion Insights
Non-Alcoholic Beer Market Overview
The global non-alcoholic beer market is witnessing remarkable growth, driven by evolving consumer lifestyles, increasing health consciousness, and a shifting cultural narrative around alcohol consumption. This once-niche segment is gaining momentum, with traditional beer drinkers and new-age consumers alike turning to zero-alcohol options for health and lifestyle reasons. As the beverage industry continues to innovate, non-alcoholic beer is no longer just an alternative—it's becoming a preferred choice.

Product Type Insights: Why Low-Alcohol Beers Are Booming
Low-alcohol beers are poised to dominate the non-alcoholic beer category in 2025. Consumers are gravitating toward these beverages not only because they offer a reduced alcohol content (usually under 0.5% ABV), but also because they preserve much of the original beer's flavor, body, and aroma.
Compared to fully alcohol-free variants, low-alcohol beers maintain the core characteristics of regular beer while still aligning with health and wellness goals. As more consumers seek moderation rather than abstinence, this category is benefiting from a broader audience.
Brewers have embraced advanced brewing technologies such as vacuum distillation and reverse osmosis to maintain the sensory qualities of beer while reducing alcohol. This innovation is enabling low-alcohol beers to meet both quality expectations and regulatory standards in various markets.
Traditional Lager Continues to Reign
Among all the flavor profiles, traditional lager remains the most favored across global markets. Its crisp, clean finish and easy drinkability make it the go-to style for a wide demographic. This category’s popularity is also due to its familiarity—most beer consumers are accustomed to lager, making the transition to a non-alcoholic version relatively seamless.
Major beer brands are prioritizing the production of non-alcoholic lagers as they expand their alcohol-free portfolios. With enhanced brewing methods, they are able to replicate the taste of full-strength lagers more precisely than ever before.
Lagers also pair well with a variety of cuisines, further increasing their appeal in food service and hospitality settings. From sports bars to fine dining, non-alcoholic lagers are becoming a mainstay on drink menus.
Malt: The Backbone of Non-Alcoholic Beer Production
Malt continues to be the primary ingredient in non-alcoholic beer production, providing the characteristic sweetness, mouthfeel, and color that consumers expect. It plays a critical role in mimicking the depth of flavor found in traditional beer.
In many non-alcoholic recipes, malt is used strategically to offset the thinning effect of alcohol removal, delivering a fuller taste and more satisfying texture. Because malt is such a versatile and accessible raw material, it remains the ingredient of choice for both large breweries and craft producers.
Barley-based malts dominate the segment, although wheat and rye malts are gaining traction as alternative options for specialty brews.
Why Cans Are the Future of Non-Alcoholic Beer Packaging
Canned beer is becoming the most preferred packaging format in the non-alcoholic segment. Lightweight, easy to store, and eco-friendly, cans offer a modern solution to both logistical and environmental challenges. They provide excellent protection from light and oxygen, ensuring the beer remains fresh for longer periods.
The convenience of cans also aligns with the on-the-go lifestyle of many consumers, especially younger demographics. Whether at a beach, a festival, or a picnic, cans provide portability without sacrificing quality.
With the surge in outdoor consumption and growing popularity of sustainable packaging, cans are expected to remain the dominant packaging type for the foreseeable future.

Retail Revolution: Supermarkets and Hypermarkets Take Center Stage
Supermarkets and hypermarkets are leading the distribution of non-alcoholic beers globally. Their widespread presence and shelf space allow brands to reach a diverse consumer base and offer greater product variety.
These retail giants are increasingly devoting space to non-alcoholic beverage sections, often stocking both mainstream and craft alcohol-free options. With health-conscious shopping on the rise, this trend is expected to intensify.
Promotions, discounts, and sampling campaigns at supermarkets further boost awareness and encourage trial purchases—especially from consumers who may be new to the category.
Rising Health Awareness Drives Market Expansion
Today’s consumers are more health-aware than ever before. From low-carb diets to sober-curious lifestyles, people are actively seeking ways to reduce their alcohol consumption without sacrificing social experiences. This health-driven shift is a primary force behind the rapid growth of the non-alcoholic beer industry.
Non-alcoholic beer offers several advantages: fewer calories, no hangover, and a reduced risk of alcohol-related health issues. For individuals managing conditions like hypertension or liver problems, alcohol-free beer serves as a safer alternative.
In the wake of the pandemic, immunity, sleep quality, and mental health have become top wellness priorities. Non-alcoholic beer aligns perfectly with these needs, positioning itself as a modern, mindful beverage choice.
Regulatory Landscape Encourages Responsible Consumption
Stringent drinking laws and stricter enforcement of alcohol limits are reshaping the global beverage industry. Governments across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East are implementing tougher regulations on drink-driving and alcohol marketing, creating a more favorable environment for non-alcoholic products.
In several countries, alcohol-free beers are taxed at a significantly lower rate—or not at all—making them more affordable. This price advantage, combined with unrestricted advertising, allows brands to reach broader audiences through digital platforms, sports sponsorships, and public events.
Public health campaigns promoting responsible drinking have also contributed to destigmatizing non-alcoholic options. As these policies gain traction, non-alcoholic beers are moving from the margins to the mainstream.
Asia-Pacific Emerges as a Growth Powerhouse
The Asia-Pacific region is forecasted to be the most dynamic market for non-alcoholic beer by 2025. Rapid urbanization, growing disposable income, and shifting social norms are fostering demand across countries like Japan, China, India, and Australia.
In Japan, innovation in brewing techniques has positioned domestic producers like Asahi and Kirin as global leaders in the category. These companies are launching premium alcohol-free options that cater to both seasoned beer drinkers and new adopters.
In India and Southeast Asia, where cultural and religious factors often discourage alcohol consumption, non-alcoholic beer provides a socially acceptable alternative. Local and international brands are expanding aggressively in these markets, using regional flavor profiles and targeted marketing to capture consumer interest.
Key Industry Players Driving Innovation
The non-alcoholic beer market is highly competitive, with major global players investing heavily in product development, branding, and distribution. Notable companies include:
Anheuser-Busch InBev
Heineken N.V.
Carlsberg Group
Molson Coors Beverage Company
Kirin Holdings Company
Asahi Group Holdings
Suntory Holdings
Diageo
Erdinger Weißbräu
Athletic Brewing Company
These companies are constantly pushing the boundaries of innovation, from developing unique brewing processes to launching sustainable packaging solutions and flavor-infused variants.
Recent Market Developments
In 2024, Heineken expanded the distribution of its 0.0 range into Latin America and Southeast Asia, following strong performance in Europe.
Big Drop Brewing Co. launched a limited-edition IPA collaboration with several craft breweries to showcase innovation in the alcohol-free segment.
Carlsberg unveiled a new research center dedicated to enhancing non-alcoholic brewing techniques and exploring natural ingredients to improve flavor authenticity.

Beverage Flavors Market Trends and Growth Projections for 2025
The global beverage flavors market is poised for substantial growth in the coming years, driven by changing consumer preferences, innovation in flavor profiles, and the increasing demand for healthier and natural alternatives. By 2025, the beverage flavors market is expected to reach significant milestones, thanks to the evolving tastes of consumers and advancements in food science.

Rising Consumer Demand for Natural and Health-Conscious Flavors
In recent years, consumers have become more health-conscious, influencing the beverage flavors industry. There is a growing demand for flavors derived from natural ingredients, such as fruits, herbs, and spices, as opposed to synthetic flavorings. This trend is especially prevalent in the non-alcoholic beverage sector, where natural flavors are seen as a healthier alternative to artificial sweeteners and additives. The shift toward organic and plant-based beverages, such as herbal teas, fruit juices, and sparkling waters, further supports the demand for natural flavoring solutions.
Moreover, consumers are increasingly seeking beverages that cater to specific health needs, such as low-calorie, low-sugar, and functional drinks. This has led to an expansion in the use of functional flavors that provide added health benefits, such as antioxidants, probiotics, and vitamins, further driving market growth.
Innovation in Beverage Flavor Profiles
Beverage manufacturers are constantly looking to innovate and create unique and exciting flavors that appeal to an increasingly adventurous consumer base. In 2025, we can expect to see more experimentation with bold, exotic, and fusion flavors, such as tropical fruits combined with spices, floral flavors paired with citrus, and savory ingredients blended with sweet beverages.
This trend is particularly evident in the alcoholic beverage sector, where craft beers, flavored spirits, and ready-to-drink (RTD) cocktails are gaining popularity. Flavored alcoholic beverages, such as flavored vodkas, gins, and rum, are being infused with a variety of new and exotic flavors to cater to evolving tastes and create novel drinking experiences.
In the non-alcoholic segment, brands are introducing innovative flavors like hibiscus, lavender, and matcha to appeal to millennials and Generation Z consumers, who are known for their willingness to try new and unconventional taste profiles.
The Role of Technology and Flavoring Solutions
Advancements in food and beverage technology are playing a key role in shaping the future of the beverage flavors market. With improved extraction and formulation techniques, manufacturers can now deliver more intense and authentic flavor experiences. Technologies like encapsulation and microencapsulation allow flavors to be released gradually, enhancing the sensory experience of the consumer.
Additionally, the development of clean-label solutions, which prioritize transparency and the use of fewer, simpler ingredients, is driving the demand for natural and organic flavoring options. These trends are in line with consumer preferences for beverages that are perceived as healthier and free from artificial chemicals.
Global Expansion and Market Outlook
As the global beverage market continues to expand, companies are increasingly focusing on emerging markets where changing lifestyles and rising disposable incomes are driving demand for a wider variety of beverages. The Asia-Pacific region, in particular, is expected to be a key growth driver for the beverage flavors market, with increasing demand for flavored soft drinks, teas, and energy drinks.
Europe and North America will continue to be dominant players in the beverage flavors market, owing to their established beverage industries and high consumer spending. However, competition is intensifying, and companies must focus on differentiation through innovative flavor profiles, healthier options, and sustainability to maintain market share.
Conclusion
The beverage flavors market is set for continued growth through 2025, with consumers increasingly seeking natural, health-conscious, and innovative flavor experiences. Manufacturers will need to adapt to these shifting preferences by developing new, unique flavor profiles and embracing sustainable, clean-label solutions. As the industry evolves, the ability to blend creativity, technology, and consumer demand will be crucial for capturing the attention of modern beverage consumers and driving future growth.
