I'm just having a little sit down and a cuppa on my plot. I've done really well and finished digging over the flower half and I'm about half way through the veg bit, but my backs starting to scream at me so time for a break! Helibores, I can't get enough of them, especially the double dark variety. . I'm off up to the plot today to finish off the digging I started yesterday. It now feels as if we're getting somewhere, with freshly dug brown earth appearing out from under the plastic, which I put down to keep the weeds at bay and yes before you shout at me, we are using plastic but its recycled from the wrappings of some delivery to our local farm and we'll keep it and reuse it every year.
