بیٹی کو وینٹی لیٹر سے ہٹانے کی مخالفت پر برطانوی پولیس کا والدین پر تشدد لندن (جی سی این) شمالی انگلینڈ میں بیمار بیٹی کا وینٹی لیٹر ہٹانے کے فیصلے کی مخالفت والدین کو مہنگی پڑگئی۔ برطانوی اخبار نے بیمار بیٹی زینب کے باپ کی پولیس کے ہاتھوں درگت کی ستمبر 2019 کی ویڈیو حاصل کرلی جس میں دیکھا جاسکتا ہےکہ پولیس نے 6 سالہ زینب کی ماں کو دھکا دیا اور باپ کو بالوں سے پکڑ کر گھسیٹا۔ وینٹی لیٹر ہٹا کر زینب کو مرنے کے لیے چھوڑنے کے فیصلے کا سن کر والدین سکتے میں آگئے تھے اور وہ بے ہوش زینب کے پاس بیٹھے تھے کہ اسپتال انتظامیہ نے پولیس بلوالی۔ پولیس نے والدین کو زبردستی زینب کے پاس سے ہٹانے کی کوشش کی جس پر راشدعباسی نے مزاحمت کی تو پولیس نے ان کے پیر اور گھٹنے دو جگہ سے باندھ دیے۔ اس دوران راشد عباسی کہتے رہے کہ انہیں سینے میں درد ہورہا ہے، جیب میں رکھی دوا کھانے دی جائے لیکن پولیس اہلکار نے جواب دیا کہ تمھیں جو کچھ بھی ہو رہا ہے اس کے ذمے دار تم خود ہو۔ اس ناخوشگوار واقعے کے بعد اسپتال نے زینب کا وینٹی لیٹر ہٹانے کی اجازت کے حصول کے لیے ہائیکورٹ سے رجوع کیا تھا تاہم ہائیکورٹ میں سماعت کی تاریخ سے تین روز قبل ہی زینب انتقال کر گئی تھی۔ خیال رہے کہ زینب کے والدین عالیہ عباسی اور راشد عباسی دونوں ڈاکٹرز ہیں جنہوں نے اسپتال کے اِس فیصلے پر اعتراض کیا تھا کہ زینب زیادہ عرصے نہیں جی سکتی، اس لیے وینٹی لیٹر سے ہٹا دیا جائے۔ زینب سوائن فلو کا شکار ہونے کے بعد سانس کے مرض میں مبتلا تھی۔ والدین کا مؤقف تھا کہ پہلے بھی دو مواقع پر وہ اسٹرائیڈز کی مقدار بڑھا کر اپنی بیٹی کی جان بچا چکے ہیں۔ Read the full article

London: Police said a tiger killed a female zookeeper Monday at Hamerton Zoo Park 130 kilometers (80 miles) north of London.

“A tiger had entered an enclosure with a keeper. Sadly the female zookeeper died at the scene,” Cambridgeshire Police said in a statement.

The zoo said in a statement that a “freak accident” was to blame for the death. It said, “Our thoughts and sympathies are with our colleagues, friends, and families at this dreadful time.”

Hamerton Zoo posted a statement on its website saying staff members were too “distressed” to speak the media about the death. The zoo is expected to be closed Tuesday while an investigation continues.

Police said they were called to the zoo late Monday morning.

The tiger never escaped from the enclosure, and police said foul play was not suspected in the keeper’s death.

Visitors were evacuated when the incident began and an air ambulance was summoned to provide emergency help for the victim.

An eyewitness says visitors were removed calmly and that there was no panic. Police did not release information about the tiger.
