1/2 AHHH YAY I hope you had an amazing, amazing trip!! That is so cool that you were /right there/. I'm moving with my bf and he's never been to England. My mom and I drove around Ireland last year and I'm trying to explain that the island is TINY. Like, the state we used to live in is larger than Ireland, and I think the same size as England. oh man your boyfriend is in for a surprise!! I know I definitely feel weird being in such a big country right now. I’m used to being able to practically sense the edges of my island and now it’s like LAND, LAND IS EVERYWHERE, LAAAAAAAAAAND (and some lakes). I hope he likes it!!! it definitely is convenient having everywhere in the country within a day’s drive :DDDD

TWININGS IS LIFE AND I AM SO GLAD YOU FEEL THE SAME WAY BECAUSE I JUST. their boxes are so pretty like PACKAGING GOALS and I love their chamomile and honey herbal blend. but seriously PG Tips is classic tea right there, I recommend it as a kind of 4pm mid-workday saviour. SO nice. 

I actually know a bunch of teachers!! my father is a teacher and so all of his circle are in teaching, and some of my own friends are going into it, and I’m also lowkey planning on becoming an English teacher myself. I HOPE YOU GET QTS and don’t have to go through all the NQT bureaucracy... but I’ve known many people get through that easily so I’m sure that even if you have to spend a year being supervised, you’ll fly through it ;D what are you hoping to teach??

Today we say goodbye to Chile for a little while as we head to ENGLAND! Packing Peggy up with the last of all our stuff was quite a tricky job, last minute storage cupboards had to be made and painted. Chris spent the last day making sure we had a cooking pot shelf, angel, but we did feel bad leaving her in the cold all alone. But with a little help from friends she is somewhere safe and will be looked after. _ In just under 24 hours of travelling we will be back in the arms of some of our family and friends and we are so excited. It's going to be strange speaking English again constantly but I'm sure we will get used to it, no more bad connection or fuzzy video calling for a while. Going to the vet was quite tiresome for a certain dog today. Snuggles with momma because getting vaccines stink. Also found out Brooklyn's microchip is ISO approved. 1/4 part down. 3/3 English or anything else. So seeing my QTS thing with "all subjects all ages" was like :O whoa for me. I'd still like to teach Spanish? That's kind of my thing?? And I love teaching when they're 9-14 so I'll shoot for key stages 2-3, I think. Englandbound, my dear!!! I’m so sorry for taking longer to reply!! I was roadtripping, and then recovering from roadtripping, and then today I managed to get myself rather EMbroiled (heH) in various fiery disputes. LET ME REREAD YOUR MESSAGES AND RECALL THE FACTS.

AH YES!! hmm hmmm hmmmmm the moped... depending on where you’re coming from and how accustomed you are to the rain, it’s either a good idea or a bad idea?! it rains in the UK, a LOT. all year round, hopefully less in summer, but you know... there’s thunderstorms in the south of the UK right now, so!! ahhhh, listen to me talking about the weather. I’m a seasoned vet. ANYWAY, the point is, I’m frequently glad of the shelter of the car in the mornings - but a moped could totally work if you’re cool with wearing waterproofs?! also, it’s worth checking out the public transport situation near where you’ll live, I reckon; our bus systems tend to be pretty comprehensive if not perfect, so maybe you could even catch the bus or train to work if you’re living close enough to a bus stop or train station?

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH MASSIVE CONGRATULATIONS ON THE QTS, that’ll make things so much easier, oh how awesome!! well done!!!! hmmm let me think now, my dad teaches spanish too, ages 10-13, but spanish (in my experience) tends to be taught at a young age more often in private schools - in state schools you’re more likely to learn french when you’re younger, and then pick up either spanish or german age 14 when you go to secondary school. do you have a specific school in mind yet, do you know that it teaches spanish when you wanna teach spanish? :DDDDDDD
