Boy has the year flown by! Hi everyone, today I’m here with the End of Summer Tag. I was tagged for this wonderful little tag by WriteYourDestiny. Thank you so much for the tag!
Moving on to the questions –
What was your favorite book this summer?
Six of Crows by Leigh Bardugo
I didn’t even have to think about this one. I loved it so very much and I’ve already finished Crooked Kingdom too! I thought the quality of the series might go down as it does with so many books but hell no. It was amazing! I loved the characters so much!
A close second was Room by Emma Donoghue.
What was your least favorite book this summer?
Wings Unseen by Rebecca Gomez Farell
This is an ARC that I received from Netgalley and while it wasn’t all that bad, it definitely couldn’t compete with all the other amazing books I read.
What book did you wish you had read this summer?
A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas
I swear I’ve been meaning to get to this series for ages but it just never happens. I do intend to start it as soon as possible.
What was your favorite classic you read this summer(if you did not read one then in general)?
And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
I didn’t really delve into any classics this summer. I mostly stuck to YA. The oldest book I read was The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larsson which was published in 2008.
In general, my favorite classic is And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie
Did you stray into a different genre and pick up a new and exciting book?
To All The Boys I Loved Before by Jenny Han
I generally stick to Fantasy but I’d heard so much about this book through the various blogs that I follow, that I had to give it a shot. I actually quite enjoyed it. I’ve already finished reading P. S. I Still Love You and am in the process of reading Always and Forever Lara Jean.
What was your favorite movie adaption this summer?
Room by Emma Donoghue
Like I mentioned before, I read Room this summer and almost immediately watched the movie. Even though the movie originally released in 2015 and not this summer, it is one of the only movie adaptations I watched this year.
What was your favorite new release book?
Wonder Woman Warbringer by Leigh Bardugo
I loved the book so much! I finished Wonder Woman in about a day and Diana and Alia are quickly rising to be among my favorite characters. Wonder Woman got 4 stars from me and I will be posting a review soon.
