BEHOLD, the moment we've all been waiting for : Yevlan paying the consequences of his actions !

The drawing looks angsty and all but NO EMPATHY PLEASE, he's the worst and he deserved it !

If you don't know about him : Yevlan is the God of Time and the King of Altea in the Anriel. And he ALSO is a pedo who raped his own son and granddaughter (who even bore his child and gave birth to him). He then tried to kill his wife and ruled as a tyrant for decades, until a revolution took him down.

From then on, the Goddess of Justice Klavia decided that, as a punition, he would be condemned to walk forever in an endless corridor, searching for a light he will never reach or even see.

Because both his eyes were gouged out. One was hurt long ago by Nisis, the son he abused for 40 years; and the other by Crépuscule, the sister of the granddaughter he got pregnant (who finally killed herself, causing the revolution to happen).

Yevlan's punition makes his wounds unable to heal so he will suffer for the whole eternity.

And He DESERVED IT.

THE CYCLONE ERROR AU

My multiversal timeloop AU where Penny is stuck, not only in a loop, but between realities too, desperately searching for a back to the home where she no longer exists! I had no idea how to introduce this so I used TS4 and procreate to make this image for the vibes :)

This AU has two parts!! Misdirected Request is a liminal sort of glitchy vibe where Penny tries to communicate with Ezra and Tammy through things she finds in the warehouse, while trying to discover the root of the loop, and the second part which I don't really have too many ideas for yet is Unexpected Return, where Penny is back! But the Horrors persist :D

I feel more and more like Disney gives 0 shit about HM and him

So, they’re finally bringing the Hatbox Ghost to Disney World’s Haunted Mansion. 

But, they’re putting him in the Endless Hallway scene??? I have a few comments.

1) First off, I’m excited that he’s finally coming to the east coast! However,

2) Having him appear in the Endless Hallway scene rather detracts from the whole three-act structure of the mansion, and Madame Leota’s significance. Leota is the first corporeal specter we see who isn’t some rotted corpse hands, an unexpected noise, or a floating candelabra. That’s her thing. She’s the first to have the power to appear, and she calls up all the others, hence why once you’ve seen her, all the others are happy to show up. If the Hatbox Ghost, an undeniably visible ghost, appears in the Endless Hallway scene, suddenly Madame Leota’s job isn’t all that important.*

3) He’s apparently “invited himself inside from the swinging wake outside”? By this point in the mansion guests don’t even know there is a swinging wake (by mansion story sequence of scenes, I mean.) You just round the corner and there he is. We don’t know where he came from or why he’s just right there. Also, the endless hallway is filled with spooky effects, not only the candelabra down the hall but the “Donald Duck” chair on the left and the spectral armor on the right. So if Hatbox is coming in, he’s either got very little space to occupy… or either of these beloved old effects have to go.

Which brings me to my final point:

4) He should be in the attic. Let him annoy the ever-loving afterlife out of Constance Hatchaway, considering she replaced his bride. Not like Constance can actually do anything to him - his head’s already in a hatbox. And! By this point, guests can start to hear the swinging wake, so guessing that he stepped in from the party makes a lot more sense here than elsewhere in the mansion.

*Phantom Manor is a slightly different story bc it revolves around the “living” as much as the dead; even though Melanie appears before Leota, Leota is still the second significant ghost (the Phantom being the first) and still the catalyst for the other spooks appearing.

Anyways. Excited he’s finally coming, but questioning some of the other choices.

A bit of my musing on the Jedi Temple in my comic:

I admit that I am actually not all that fond of the canon look of the Jedi Temple on Coruscant, it feels appropriately huge, but a bit musty and without much charm.

My ideal temple design would be something along this trope of a Big Labyrinthine Building. I mean, the canon design of the Temple already partially fits.

I don't claim I'll have any improvement with my limited skills, but I am going to go with a little more acclectic architectual details and little daily life notes.

Also, I do hope to have a new comic page up in a day or so, life just crept up on me and whacked me... I am also trying to improve my productivity on my drawings, so I can make new pages a bit quicker.

I debated with myself whether to simplify the pages for this current chapter, and I ultimately decided that for this instance I would rather have pretty pages than quick ones.

I think a flashback to the Jedi Temple is not narratively too necessary, but I think it might mean a little extra something to experience the Temple as a beautiful and interesting place.

Tbf they mention that time/distance doesn't work normally in the labyrinth. They probably walked further than they realised, but it also seems like linear distance is a nebulous concept inside the labyrinth
