Luther Vandross - Stop To Love #legend #classic #Repost @calwill1 with @let.repost • • • • • • It has been said that Luther was very furious at his record company for the handling of the first version of the Stop To Love video. He had thought that the vision of the clip would feature him and his background singing friend Lisa Fischer. Instead two models and a guitar dude was prominently featured while most of Lisa’s shots were on the editing floor. The company was trying to appeal to a broader Pop audience. That version was pulled from broadcast and the re-edited version with more Lisa was released.
