EMPTY BOWL SUPPER 🥣❤🥣❤🥣 It's that time of year folks! We've made & dropped off 40 bowls for the annual Empty Bowl Suppers in Woodstock & Winchester Virginia. 🙂🙂🙂 We take this opportunity each year, to donate bowls, which will benefit the Shenandoah Alliance for Shelter & the Laurel Center - Intervention for Domestic & Sexual violence. 💜💙💜💙💜 WHAT IS THE EMPTY BOWL? The Empty Bowl Supper is an event where you can purchase a ticket to enter a soup kitchen dinner & charity event. You choose from hundreds of handmade bowls (which are generally donated by local potters) & eat soups donated by local restauranteurs. Each local supper has it's own little events during the evening. Ours does a silent auction featuring locally made artisanal goods or services from local businesses. This is a fabulous way to become more involved in your community and/or introduce the idea of philanthropy to your friends, family & children!!
