Rashta's greed was a result of her being manipulated into thinking that being a mistress will not keep her safe, Duke Ergi mentioned that the former emperor got tired of a mistress fast and chased her out of the palace which planted a seed into Rashta's head that she needs to get a higher position in society if she wants to be safe and secure.

Yes what Duke Ergi said was technically true, Mistresses are easily replaceable but I absolutely love it (I don't) that plenty of the fandom like to pretend Ergi manipulating a uneducated Rashta is some yes king power move.

Rashta is afraid of being a slave again, the trauma the slander the straight up abuse both physically and emotionally she had to deal with by that entire family.

I have not read the novel, nor do I plan to, but I'm going off by what I know from the webtoon and some tik toks.

Sovieshu may have indirectly ruined his life but is that a reason to use Rashta and ruin her life? (Again, I'm going off of what I've read about Ergi's backstory) She was just wanted to be loved and cared for, once it was clear Sovieshu wasn't gonna love her the way she hoped she turned to Ergi who was using her the way everyone else around her already was.

Would it kill the author to make Rashta smart? Or happy? Or have something good happen to her for once?

I was a bit busy with college and with a personal project so that's why I didn't post for such a long time.

Plus, I have not been feeling very "inspired" to draw Remarried Empress fanart since Rashta's death. It's like, I lost interest in the story after that (which I'm not surprised of).

Someone suggested me to draw this panel in my style, so I did it.

I really hope you'll like it, I feel like I've been improving on my style in general and also on my rendering.

Being the daughter of Rashta

Warnings: Mentions of stillbirth, trauma and slavery.

-You were born while Rashta was still enslave through her relationship with another slave. Because you were nota product of his family, Lotteshu did not bother with this new birth. To him you were just another slave. Rashta was happy to be a mother. Although she could not provide for you very well she did her best. She dreamed of providing you and herself with a better life. Sometimes she would take you to see pictures of the Empress and tell stories about princesses. When there was no work she would take you out to pick flowers and play in the sun. Eventually, she decided that it was time to plot your escape.

-The estate was quiet as there was not much to do. While everyone else was either in their rooms or going about their business you mother took you upstairs. Normally you were not on the second floor, but it was a secret. Your mother would sneak you upstairs to look on pictures of princesses, queens and empresses. 'This is Empress Navier. Isn't she pretty.' Rashta held you up to the painting of a golden haired empress. Although you were little it was clear the woman was very beautiful. Then your mom would tell stories of princesses who had happy easy lives. And one day, she promised, you too would be like those princesses. Eventually the fun stopped when there were footsteps. Quickly Rashta took you and hid behind curtains. Someone came in and then quickly left. The pair of you let out a sigh of relief.

-When Rashta fled she took you with her. When Sovieshu found the pair of you Rashta claimed you were her sister. Although Sovieshu was suspicious his infatuation of Rashta caused him not to think too deeply. Afterwards your life will change. Rashta is determined you should have everything you desire. However, Rashta will still insist you sleep desire her (when Sovieshu is not there). Rashta will insist you be with her at all times when she is not busy fulfilling her duties as a mistress. This will normally be in the form of tea parties, walks in the garden and sitting in on your lessons. Unfortunately you will not have very many friends. The noble children would not play with you and Rashta felt it was now beneath you to play with common children. While Rashta may mean well her care can be stiffeling.

-Sitting with your mother on a blanket you picked up another cookie. Now that your mother was a very wealthy (through means you could not truly understand), you had the best of everything. There were a few maids, but your mother would not allow them to join. 'Why can't I go play?' Wistfully you looked to the distance were several noble girls were playing. 'Because they do not like us.' This confused you, it was not as if you had done anything to them. 'Why?' You asked. 'Because some people are very cruel.' Your mother looked to the distance, somewhere far away. 'What about the others?' Rashta was still looking far, far away. 'My maid has two daughter-' Her attention was brought back to earth. 'Absolutely not.' You did not press any further.

- Completely new wardrobe for you. Rashta will pick out lots of pinks and blues for you to wear. She convinces Sovieshu to let you have a selection of jewelry to have. Rashta will make sure you have everything she was denied. Your life will be like that of princesses from fairytales. When but busy with lessons or her duties (or plotting) Rashta is with you. It irritates your tutor when Rashta bursts in and rushes you off to another activity. Sometimes these are quite silly things like hide-and-seek. Your days are spent playing, not working.

-Giggling through the halls, you were being chased by Rashta. Most of the court was out so this left most of this wing of the castle empty, expect servants. Your mother easily could have caught up, but she was letting you have the lead. The swishing of her dress was just behind you announcing she was close. Dashing around a corner you slipped behind curtains before your mother could. She came around the corner, and paused. For a moment she paused. 'Y/n?' There was a touch of worry in her voice that made you jump out. 'Ma!' Rashta gave a great jump, giggled, and swooped down on you. Covering your face with kisses Rashta crushed you in a great big hug.

Notes: Had this one in my drafts for a while now so I'm glad to get it out. I chose to leave this piece here because otherwise it would be far too long and depressing for this type of one-shot. Maybe I'll do some for Remarried Empress scenarios with a child reader (platonic ofc). If any of you have ideas let me know!

This Manhwa should be called "Sovieshu can't comunicate" because half of it wouldn't happend if Sovieshu told Navier and Rashta important stuff, this mf keeps everything to himself.

And she is RIGHT, why the hell didn't he told Rashta that he couldn't find her transaction documents? Anyone could find that document and find out the truth about Rashta's origins and use it against both her and Sovieshu. His whole plan could be ruin because of this.

And you can't even said that he didn't told her because he couldn't give less of a sh*t about her and is going to leave her eventually, because he did this with Navier too. Sovieshu never told Navier that their fertility problems were because of a mistake he made when he was a kid and didn't told her their divorce was temporal either (even if i doubt that Navier would had waited for him anyways).

Side note: I LOVE Rashta's angry face here and how Sovieshu looks so surprised to see her angry, you wanted a woman who shows emotions Sovi? There you have her and i hope she screams at you with all the air she has in her lungs.

Why do readers here who already hate most of the characters in RE and have said that they skip all western empire scenes complain about how boring it is. If you don’t like the characters and aren’t interested in them, you’ll obviously not like the western empire drama lmao. No need to complain when it’s obvious why in the first place.

I wish there were more readers here who liked all the characters and enjoy both eastern and empire scenes, instead of all the negativity and old & boring complaining posts that’s always here.

The other day I was thinking when I suddenly remembered how shitty it was Navier let so much of what Kosier did slide.

Like that time Rashta called Navier infertile in front of Kosier.

Yeah I'd be mad too but the way Navier got upset when Sovieshu banished Kosier.

Like yeah Rashta shouldn't have lied that Kosier pushed her but he was still a very active threat he probably would've gotten himself banished anyway.

Why was Navier and her parents just sorta okay with Kosier being so damn aggressive over everything? Yeah that time with the abortion drug Navier did tell them to stop but it wasn't like he faced major consequences from what I remember.

Why do people assume Rashta referring herself in third person is childish? I feel like those people never read poetry or read Agatha Christie's Poirot. So many poets referred them in third person. Hercule Poirot a renowned detective does the same. It's often regarded as a better or poetic way to refer oneself without being direct.

In Korea, it's not uncommon to this either. One can say "I'll do whatever my mom/brother/uncle wishes" instead of "I'll do whatever you wish, mom/bro/uncle" in front of their mom/brother/uncle. Heck it's not even uncommon in English either.

Do y'all leave your brain outside of your cranium when it comes to criticize Rashta or something?

As for why she does it aside from author chosing Korean and using Korean linguistics: Rashta being a slave was often abused and everyone called her name harshly. Nobody called her in affectionate tone. So in order to make up for the lack of affection, she started to use her name in affectionate tone, so at least she herself would show love while uttering her name.

It's actually pretty tragic that a person had to resort to third person talking style cause no one uttered her name with love. From her childhood to adulthood, no one did it. Not even a single person, not even her parents.

This girl was deprived of affection and she herself took the first step to make up for it cause no one else did.

So screw you for calling her childish or irritating for referring herself in third person.

Okay gotta admit that Rashta Isekai fic is really good. I really found myself enjoying it and feeling like it's a real manhwa. I hope we get an update soon. Pity it only has 17 chapters.

Author seems to balanye everything. Instead of turning Navier into a villainess portray Rashta's as saint, they're pointing out the faults of everyone. I especially love calling out of male characters. Every single one of them deserves to be called out.
