In that sense, Zakiya also does as she should. Thus, when she became wealthy, her parents joined her in that wealth. She made sure they retired early and "can also do as they please." She told them,"Your job is done. Don't hold back anymore." A sentiment that brought her parents to tears, how lovely is their daughter? They did, however, tell their daughter that "a parent's job is never done!" But they thanked her. They live in a lovely home she bought them, they watch her show every day! their full name is mei rinne flores, usually goes by mei but sometimes by rinne.

their lore is kind of all over the place but they come from leon's hometown (wherever that is) and that's where they met. mei was left behind when leon went to raccoon city and pretty much thought he was dead for the longest time.

they didn't start dating until after they reunite but they are NOT happy for most of the timeline. mei breaks up with leon at some point because he needs to get his shit together. 😔 but they're back together by the time death island happens.
