I want to slow dance with Arthur Morgan.
I don't care if he steps on my toes, or if he messes up the words of the song, or if he doesn't have much to say.
The sun can set, or the moon could be high in the sky, hell it could be pouring out.
I just want him warmth and care, even all his sillies, if but for a moment.

hello! Sending you the asks for the "Send me a number and a character" for your oc! of course only if you like
6, 16, 20, 21!
THIS TOOK FOREVER AND I'M SO SORRY
First of all, thank you for the ask! Writing is hard, and I had a lot of stuff on my plate. ;-;
I hope this is worth the wait! It made me really think!
~*~*~*~*~*~*~ 6. What’s the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?
After the fall of the VDL, the hardest thing Sybil had to do was live again. Still young, but aged through smoke and blood. How does one find themselves again after their family has been uprooted, broken, and buried? Thankful that her face isn’t plastered all over the states, quiet jobs in quiet towns fit the bill for a while. It allows her to forget for a while, to get the initial shock through her system. Although, In her mind certain cattleman hats, spurs on old wood, and the ghosts of laughter take a toll on her. They’re everywhere - in strangers, in the woods, and at the bottom of a bottle.
It takes time, but Sybil’s strong - and she knows that what they would have wanted was for her to move on and live a proper life.
16. Describe your perfect day:
A perfect day starts with sun, a cup of coffee, and writing. Sybil keeps a journal as Arthur does, but it’s more of a field guide. Flora carefully pressed between worn pages, drawings of the local fauna - the occasional day to day retelling. Depending on the day, she may read scripture. The rest of the ‘perfect’ day would include light chores - like dishes, or mending laundry. This could be followed by Pearson cooking something decent, and not completely butchering the good meats Charles and Arthur bring in. If not, maybe Sybil would be lucky enough to break into her peppermint stash - even though she’s told herself not to. She’s got no self control.
Sybil would feel lucky enough if she was invited to go into the nearest town with anyone. Wouldn’t matter who, she’d enjoy herself! It doesn’t take much! Her evening would end with food, drink, everyone in a good mood, and everyone safe. Maybe even a game of dominoes with Hosea, or five-finger-fillet with Javier and Micah (even though Micah would try to make her mess up - knowing full well she’d probably throw it at him).
20. Describe your biggest pet peeve:
Sybil’s pet peeve would be people not picking up after themselves, especially around camp. Sure, they won’t let the horses in because of obvious reasons, but the cans and plates, and liquor bottles left on the ground… When there is a WASHBARREL right THERE… Oh, she could go on for hours about it. I know in game, if Arthur isn’t sitting at a table he tends to just drop his stew plate onto the ground. After Sybil caught him doing that, he was in for an earful, let me tell you. Let’s just say, he never did it again. Little Jack also knows better than to leave his plates around, or Aunt Sybil gives him a quick talking to. The men know better than to leave them around, at least where she can see them. Though, They’ve made a habit of using the discarded cans and bottles for target practice, so there's that.
21. Describe your ideal partner:
“Humble, thoughtful, and of quick wit. Hardworking, able to laugh, and tall. Handsome.” This is what her journal at fifteen would say. In 1897, Sybil would add “Anyone with good aim, decent horsemanship, and to not be uptight.” Now, in 1899, she’s happy to add “a man like Arthur Morgan,” to that childhood wish.

Should be returning to regularly scheduled programming soon! Found a lovely group to cowboy with, so I've been thoroughly distracted.
I've got another lovely, who I will introduce at some point!
Also have been attempting to get more writing done! I've got a whole list of 'what-ifs' for Ruddy Love - and I'm working on a piece for a friend or two <3
#It's been a hot minute!#Writing has not been my friend#lemme tell you#I hate it#xD#sybil dennison#rdr2#emmielou rambles

091 n 093 for sybil bby
Thank you for the ask, hun! <3
These are really helping me flesh out Sybil. You really think you know everything about your character, until you don't. XD
~*~*~*~*~*~*~
091. What type of music does your character like?
If Sybil was in a more modern setting, I think she'd enjoy folk songs? I really don't know how to describe the style of music, but when I write for her I tend to listen to the The Hound and The Fox. Of course she'd enjoy country music, and her favorite group is Home Free.
If we're talking in the RDR universe? Probably anything Javier can strum/sing, the camp songs, and occasionally the few records Dutch plays. She also loves it when Sadie plays her harmonica.
093. What is your character’s goal in life?
Sybil's main goal in life is to be at peace. Not in just in death, but with life as well. With everything that's gone on after her origin story, Sybil craves a chance for a simple life again. Be that living on a ranch in good country, with her family (be that the VDL or whoever she'd get with), and without a Pinkerton or train robbery in sight.
