Slayers: A Buffyverse story coming to Audible
Slayers: A Buffyverse story coming to Audible
Entertainment week reports on the reuniting of (most of) the Buffy the Vampire Slayer cast on audio in new stories coming to Audible on October 12. With the notable absence of Sarah Michelle Gellar (and indeed Alyson Hannigan, Nicholas Brendon and probably a few other) , the show centres on Spike (James Marsters). It’s not immediately clear (to me) how this ties in with Angel, but I’ll worry…

So, there’s a theory going around that Dottie (Wanda’s “snooty” neighbor) may be Clea. Thoughts?
Personally, I like the idea.
One of my main concerns with Multiverse of Madness is that it may have too many characters and not enough time to tell a coherent story. Yes, Infinity War pulled it off brilliantly but I fear that may not be the case, here.
Still, Marvel (usually) introduces characters in smaller roles first before they go to star in a major project. So the idea that they’d start introducing characters who will become essential to the next Doctor Strange film here makes sense.
And if the (supposed) 4-chan leak about Clea being The Anicent One’s estranged daughter and the Agatha Harkness theory hold true, whose to say she wasn’t living in Westview when this all started? Maybe she was in a witches coven honing her powers on her own, getting away from her mother’s (and thus Dormammu’s) influence?
It’s certainly possible.
And TBF, I’d say that Emma Cauldfield Ford is a much better choice to play Clea than say...Emma Watson. (Yes, I know that was rumor. And no! I will not get over that!)
But I don’t know. I guess we’ll just have to wait and see.
