Emiras final design vs her first

first photo is her now second is her first design

i original designed her to be a pintail duck hence her last name however drake mallards last name mallard is a type of duck that he isn’t so emiras last name being pintail is fine if she’s not a pintail it’s my decision

her initial color was supposed to be orange now i’m not quite sure what her initial color maybe one of you can figure it out idk. i thought about making her bandana orange but the coral just looked so cute

as you can see her clothes are somewhat similar,, emiras now clothes are based off of my oc Marcy’s first designs clothes ((except i added the things on her feet and the bandana))

i think it’s funny how old and new emira look nothing alike lol

Emira Rose (Pintail) Gearloose is the adopted daughter of Gyro Gearloose and works alongside him in the lab, she is also Gizmoduck's sidekick known as Gyzoduck

Personality

Mostly shy and awkward when meeting new people but otherwise she's very talkative and outgoing, always coming up with new things and ideas. she can be a little reckless at times, which causes her to get in trouble and/or get hurt. she's a great liar and usually gets away with a lot of things, however she is forgetful and clumsy ((she'll lose random things and gyro will find them in random places)) she's very protective of her friends/family and has a tendency to overthink things a lot more than she should. when she sets her mind on something there's no stopping her from doing it, pure determination.

Backstory

When Emira was just an infant her mother had died and her father knew she couldn't take care of her so he left Emira on the doorstep of a random person, that person happened to be Gyro. he opened the door a couple of minutes later only to see a baby duck in a basket with a note which read 'to whom finds this, please take care of my baby girl, Emira Rose, i am not able to care for her since i can hardly afford to care for myself, i hope she is safe with whoever finds her.’ Gyro was concerned and would've taken her to an orphanage or something until he saw her. Emira would look up at him with big eyes and a smile reaching her small arms up to grasp, Gyro felt his heart melt, he couldn't leave this baby with an orphanage, he was pretty lonely so he decided to take her in. she found out she was adopted years later and that her last name was Pintail not Gearloose ((she uses both sometimes))

backstory

Marcy happens to be the daughter of Magcia DeSpell,, she didn’t like her mother at all but she just lived with it. until one day Scrooge Mcduck defeated her mother and he was kind enough to let her stay with him. since she is magcia’s daughter, she has some powers. magica gave her powers only to try and get scrooges dime. her powers are she is able to turn into a shadow, she usually uses this either when she’s really upset or really needs it. she also knows some spells but Scrooge doesn’t let her use them.
