I've just recently re-started reading Temeraire, and I totally get how one gets obsessed with it :D The fandom is not huge, but I love you all already, from the political discussions to the sheer ridiculousness of some crack ideas. ♥

The Temeraire fandom is GREAT, I should reread those books, I adore them with a love that is true and pure.

#temeraire #also i think a lot about how temeraire aus have a lot of Potential for other fandoms #they're not Universally Applicable like some aus but if you have a character who can be conveniently adapted as the dragon!#they are GREAT!#(i just recently watched star trek so like. something something enterprise the dragon and jim kirk as her captain.)#incidentally! i still really want the fic about how emily roland and demane definitely for sure got in some fights in defense of laurence #emily's unflinching readiness to beat ass is one of my favorite things about her #also i still want a fic about laurence's family trying clumsily to reach out to emily and make her part of Society #THEY--LIKE EVERYONE--BELIEVE THAT SHE IS LAURENCE'S DAUGHTER #I LOVE THAT #part of this fic would obviously also be the fact that emily has not seen anything counter to that story #and also maybe emily's father showing up and laurence having a tiny little crisis #because on the one hand he's NOT emily's father but also he hates this man On Principle #I WANT IT #a queue we will keep and our honor someday avenge #Anonymous #asked and answered
