Waiting for my brakes to be done in my hometown so naturally I gave Jesse a quick El Monte Midcentury Walking Tour. We talked about 60’s concrete breeze blocks, building facades from the 70’s, our art deco high school, one of the last remaining A-Frames in the SGV (Tastee Freeze) and the famous MGM Hollywood El Monte Lions.
