Bad Plan

Kai kidnaps Zane after he panics and is close to figuring it out. Zane sees how Kai and Nya are treated by Krux. 

I gave this a quick over edit and it isn’t done, so yeah. . .

Zane rebooted from the hit he took in the museum. His senses grainy and glitching as his systems adjusted to his new surroundings. Purposely staying slumped over as he heard voices.

“... you. . .. think through. . . c’mon Kai. This. . . find us now!” Zane heard a female voice he recognized as Nya’s, from somewhere down the hall. Zane was in a cell, peaking his eyes open he saw Kai and Nya walking towards the cell, seemingly in an argument.

“Well I’m sorry! But he figured out Sanders was Krux. Are you saying I should have just let him go or let him figure out I’m working with him!” Kai hissed back

“I’m not saying you should have let him leave, but just kidnapping him right then and there is probably the next worst thing to do!”

“How! What should I have done, then!”

“Fricken tell me dunderhead, then you’d lead him out of the museum! I would join you then we would quietly take him out.” 

“What difference does that make!?”

He heard her sigh, “Because he probably has an SOS signal that pings whenever he is unexpectedly taken out. The ninja will know he disappeared from the museum, placing suspicion on us!”

Suddenly a new voice interrupted, “What in the blazes is going on!” And the figure Zane previously knew as Saunders, stepped into his line of sight.

“Kai messed up, he kidnapped the nindroid and brought him here. He’s over there,” Nya stated pointing at Zane, who still appeared to be deactivated in the corner of his cell.

“Kai. . .,” He heard Krux sigh, “What was your reasoning for bringing him back here? He probably has a GPS signal that would notify the ninja of our location!”

“I’m sorry! I- He figured out who you where and I couldn’t let him go, so I-”

“You panicked?”

“Well… no, I just thought this would be-” He was cut off by Krux, who turned to Nya, “Have you made sure he’s not sending a signal back to the others?

“That’s what I was just about to do.” She said and bowed out of the conversation to go to Zane’s cell. Zane watched her as she opened the cell and walked in with a toolbox, opening it on the table next to the bed he was in. pulling out several tools as she turned to him, “I know you’re not asleep, now are you going to tell me if and where your location signal is or am I going to have to root around for it?”

Zane stayed silent, ignoring her, still looking at Kai and Krux talking. Trying to focus on what they were saying instead of Nya, grunting in annoyance as she tried to open his chest panel.

“. . . - I can deal with them if they come to the museum looking. They trust me, I can- “

“Kai, I’m going to have to let Nya deal with them, I don’t want you making any more mistakes. We’re so close, do you understand how important these last few days are?”

“Of course I do, I-”

“Then why are you making such. . . shortsighted decisions?”

“I’m sorry, I just thought-”

Zane winced as Nya pulled on something, turning off his homing signal. Zane only hoped that his brothers were able to get a clear signal before she shut it off.

“. . .yes you are great at making off the cuff decisions, but right now those shortsighted decisions will have unforeseen consequences that will ruin our plans.” 

“But Nya makes spontaneous decisions as well, you-

“No she does not. Her skills in forethought are greatly needed right now. These are not your strengths, you make decisions that are best for the present but that might derail our plans in the end. You must focus on tasks that you are given for the moment, so that we can get the rest of the preparations finished for our final attack.” Krux said placing a hand on the youth’s shoulder.

“Of course.

Nya will deal with the ninjas when they come to the museum, and you will be waiting in the wings for her signal in case she needs your help.”

 This is unfinished so it ends here. I might finish this idk

It's kind of creepy if they absolutely have to do it can't they at least do it in TG:RE's setting because then at least Ayato is 18.
