hamilton: 100 baby challenge, very intense simmer, doesnt have any nice family gameplay purely utilitarian

eliza: very nice large legacy family, lots of family time, loves having lots of little babies

washington: tries to complete all of the aspirations, is a huge completionist

jefferson: creates so SO much drama, affairs, traps sims in the pool, defo has wicked whims

peggy: cries everytime one of her sims dies, makes herself and her crush and makes a family and plans out her life

Decided I was in an angsty mood so I drew Elia (An NPC from my dnd game) with his ex-wife and kids before all their lives went to shit because of said ex-wife's choices. Back when he was 20 and still had a spark in his eyes. They were once so happyyyyy- sobs. :,))

But at least Elia has found... peace, if not happiness with his new friends and his church and my silly PC who is the most loyal follower that one could ask for. Probably a bit of an overcorrection after his ex wife's betrayal but... hey :P. Pretty Eladrin is pretty Eladrin <3.

This historical fiction novels follows the love story of founding father Alexander Hamilton and socialite Elizabeth "Eliza" Schyler, from the passionate beginning, tumultuous middle, and his infamous duel with Aaron Burr.

Discussion

I'm usually not a fan of historical fiction, I really enjoyed this book! Ms. Cobbs did an excellent job portraying the characters and for balancing the amount of fiction to actual history. I really sympathized with Eliza and gained a deeper understanding of Hamilton. Like all romance novels, the author spent a good chunk of time focused on the character's appearances. Of course, being that I'm a Hamilton fan, it was weird to remember that Hamilton did not look like Lin Manuel Miranda! So, the "blue eyes, golden hair" bits threw me for a loop.

Fanart Concept: an Iccarus

I want to draw Alex with wings (because of the "You have married am Iccarus, he has flown to close to the sun" line) and like in the story the heart of the sun melts the wax off of the feathers and so the wrongs stop working, so i want to do that but add the feathers go flying off they turn into paper and standing above Alex is Eliza and she's reaching for the papers and itll be tye Reynolds Phamphlet. I wanna do something with Philip since i read something speculating that the sun was representive of Alex's legacy and Philip fired trying to protect it. Maybe I'll have him Just taking flight? Alex will be falling though. Uck i wanna i wanna i wanna, in just wanna develop my skills so more first uck

Also that line "an Iccarus" i love it. I mean Iccarus was a person so i just loved how his name got used for that: to describe another person who tried to go to high. Also "or i could fly above my station after the war" FLY on his wings that he ruined. Foreshadowing!!!!!!! Oof now i want a Hamilton au where Alex has wings and stuff aghhhhhh.

ANYWAYS!!!!!!!# I'm gonna label stuff for this An Icccurus project so whee i have a tag now llol.

Hamilton is amazing! I saw it live last night in Sydney, Australia and it’s brilliant! Everyone is so sassy and it’s powerful. I loved it so much!

the letters from John Laurens to Alexander I mean.

I’m not getting into the historical accuracy, of this other then the letters from John are missing and that Eliza actually burned the letters.

But...

Eliza burned those letters. 

She clearly demonstrated that she was willing to burn the letters Alex sent her, the “love letters [Alex] wrote her until she fell], and one of the things she specifically calls Alex out on is the letters from Maria. Letters are important to their relationship to her. 

And she says she wants Alex to burn too. She didn’t literally set him on fire, No, but she likely ignited a fire in his throat when he found out what she had done. 

The letters are missing and Eliza was out for blood. Clearly, she hit her mark.
