Aromantics. Loveless? Heartless?
There have been many stereotypes regarding Aromantics, the most common being “heartless” and “loveless”. Being heartless indicates you have no heart, that it is cold; being heartless you have no regards to anybody, you simply don’t care whether they are happy or suffer. Psycho Being loveless indicates you cannot feel love. No love at all. Aromantic is a sexual orientation under the Asexual umbrella meaning “having little to no romantic feelings”. Aromantics in fact to feel love and can love, their love is just not to love like in the form of a romantic love but rather a love of family and friendship. Like Asexuals, Aromantics are told they are in a phase and they’ll get over it when they find the “right one”. To an Aromantic, friendship and family is all the relationship they need to complete them.

Officially in love with this filter. . So today is #bellletstalk day. Everyone is sharing their support and/or stories of battling with mental illness. I’m not going to open up. I’m not in a place where I can be open wth everyone about it just yet. Every day is a new battle for me. I’m doing my best to work through things and get on a better path, I just don’t know what that is yet. . I know people always say “I’m here for you” or “reach out if you need a hand” but the amount of strength it takes to even ponder those options is sometimes insurmountable. . You know you best. You know what you need. Don’t be afraid to tell people that. You are in the driver’s seat of your life and emotion and mental well-being. Even if you’re having a day, it’s okay to be having a day. You’ve made it through all of them so far, so your track record is pretty great. #endthestigma #eliminatethestigma @bell_letstalk (at London, Ontario)

I believe 100% that if you haven't gone through something, you could never fully understand it. As you all know there is a big stigma with mental health, suicide, depression and such. We are here to change that! One of the main reasons why I believe there is a mental health stigma is because people can't understand things they can't see (mental health) so they get aggravated and immediately people start to make judgements and that's how the stigma started. We need to change this. I am going to do everything in my power to eliminate the stigma #eliminatethestigma ! We need to stand up and speak out! Who's willing to join me in eliminating the stigma?! #teamrecovery #eliminatethestigma

Do you believe in God? Do you suffer from a mental illness? There are many organizations, foundations, social media pages, and people fighting to break the stigma of mental health! It is so inspiring! I think it's time that we also talk about Religious Stigma. How many people do you know that will openly talk about their mental illness in the church? And if you have..what responded have you had? Just because you believe in God does not mean that we are excluded from mental illnesses. If you suffer, I want you to know that you are not alone. We all lack faith from time to time, but it is not always the source of your illness. Don't believe that. Jesus has given his life for you. He loves you and you can be forgiven! So don't feel guilty because of your illness! Your negative thoughts can convince you that you deserve this, that God doesn't love you, or that you are not worth it. NONE OF IT IS TRUE. Let God use your struggle to show you how strong you are! To bring you closer to him! Not farther away! If you are a Christian who suffers from a mental illness, please use the hashtag #christianstalkmentalhealth 👈 How has God helped you overcome your illness? How has he used you to help others? My #journey with #anxiety has been very confusing and exhausting. Many times I have been angry because I have felt as if I have lost #myself. I remember being so #adventurous and I wouldn't think twice about taking risks! Suddenly.. I am scared of everything. I am at constant battle with my #mind. I'll have moments of no #energy, and no matter how much I would try, I just couldn't get myself to do the things I wanted to do. I have been called a big baby, scaredy cat, too old, or even "she can't cuz of her 'anxiety'." Yes, those words used to hurt. But I just want to tell you one thing. If you are living with a #mentalillness you need to accept yourself. This struggle can temporarily make us lose ourselves because we haven't learned to manage it. But fight for it. And once you get there, remember that it is not who you are. It is a part of you, yes, but you can still do the things you want to do! And at WHATEVER pace you wish to do those things. If people who "care" about you aren't willing to accept that part of you, then they don't truly care for you. If they aren't willing to fight with you and encourage you, then you deserve more. Accept yourself! Don't be ashamed, you aren't alone, and you can get through this!! 💛#anxiety support #anxietydisorder #panicdisorder #depression #anxiety #panicattack #mentalhealth #mentalhealthawareness #mha #mh #eliminatethestigma #stigma #breakthestigma #acceptyourself #happiness #affirmation #positivethinking #keepfighting #thestruggle #happy #me

Welcome! So I decided to create an #instagram dedicated to my#anxiety #blog godandanxiety.blogspot.com! My name is Noemi. I live with anxiety and panic disorder. I know how it feels to wonder if you are the only one who suffers this way. I know how terrifying it can be, and how #hopeless it can feel at times. I too, go through good times, and then all of a sudden it gets really dark and lonely. I know how it can feel as if it will never go away. But it can. Maybe not completely, maybe yes, maybe we can only learn to manage. I #believe in #God and I truly believe that He has been my biggest help in my #recovery. I don't want to force my beliefs down your throat, I just want to share my #story. I don't want you to feel alone. I want to help. I will be updating with new posts from my blog, #inspiring quotes & pictures that relate to both #anxietyhelp and my #faith. I would also like to use this as a place where we can ask each other questions about how to manage our lives with #anxietydisorder, #panicdisorder, or any related #mentalillness. So please #follow! #mentalhealthawareness #mentalhealth #mentalhealthblog #mentallyill #mentalillness #depression #support #breakthestigma #breakyostigma #stigma #mentalillnessstigma #eliminatethestigma #God #Jesus #christianity #faith #anxietysupport
