What does Margot girl call Brock and Grace when she's littler and learning to speak? Seeing as she'd be with them a lot and might need to call their attention sometimes.

LOL when she's first learning to speak they're called Bock and Geese and they stay as nicknames Elias and Svea will call Brock and Grace!

I feel like a lot is made of Brock's role in Margot's life but what's Petey's like in the Boeser kids' life? We saw a glimpse of it with Rose (I think) asking if Margot could be there sister 🫠 but does Petey also have a hands on and cutesy relationship with the Boeser kids too?

Girl Dad Brock vibes are so precious I can't. The Margot rolls and chunk scene?! Stop it 🫠🫠 I didn't get it before but so obvious why they end up with a hoard of children 🥹 Since Margot stays with the Boeser's when Svea goes back to work. What's a day where she's home with Grace and Dukey like? Naps? Arts and crafts? Cuddles?

Grace plans a lot of educational activities for the kiddos so they're well prepared for kindergarten, but also makes sure they have fun too. She'll have sensory time, play time, she'll bring them to kid-friendly museums in Vancouver, the park/playground, etc. Margot is extremely well cared for. And of course there's naps!

What's the relationship like between the youngest of the gang Dukey and Margot? Since she's a big hockey girl do him and her bound over that? Also what's Brock's reaction to whenever his honorary daughter plays with his hair 🥹🥹

Dukey is surrounded by girls so he has no choice but be close with his sisters and Margot. Dukey and Margot do play hockey the most seriously out of the Boeser bouquet/Pettersson family but Margot actually takes it further than Dukey does.

Brock loved it when any of his daughters play with his hair, Margot included.

Can you tell us a little bit about toddler Margot 🥹 is she a huge Daddy's girl? Does she just love all her honorary Boeser siblings? Is she just enamored with her Uncle Brock?

She's definitely a huge daddy's girl. She's Elias's twin in terms of personality, down to the alien death stare she will give people, but she's booksmart like her mom, too. She's generally very quiet and the only time she's loud / really comes out of her shell is with the Boeser bouquet. She loves playing hockey and ministicks with Elias and giggling uncontrollably as she practices her slapshots.

And of course she loves all her honourary Boeser siblings! She loves Uncle Brock. She loves to play with his hair and help Poppy paint his nails.

Morgan and Bee: Morgan brings Bee honeymoon in Italy. They start in Lake Como and then down to southern Italy so she can see the giant lemons. Sorrento, Positano, Capri etc. Their honeymoon is roughly a month so that's how they'd spend it!

Fred and Aleida: usually when Fred and Aleida go to Europe for a month or more they stay in Denmark, but there is one summer where they spend it in Spain; another year they spend it in the French Riviera; another in the Italian Riviera...Fred and Aleida are the type of people to rent a house as a base and then live like the locals, doing day trips here and there to other little towns or beaches around.

William and Aberdeen: again, usually when Willy and Aberdeen go to Europe for a month or more, they're in Sweden. However, due to Aberdeen's family's roots in Northern Ireland/Scotland, they definitely do a British Isles trip one year, spending an extended amount of time there. They start in London and work their way north before taking a ferry over to Belfast, visiting Derry, and ending off in Dublin.

Elias and Svea: their honeymoon is in Vienna and Austria -- Svea could easily spend a month somewhere like that. Svea, Elias, Brock, and Grace also island hop in Greece, especially before the Boeser Bouquet is born.

Brock and Grace: island hopping in Greece. They could easily, easily do that for an entire month.

Tyler and Tehilah: I could definitely see them island hopping in Greece too, but I also think I could see them somewhere fun like Amsterdam!

Matthew and Effie: lol.....Effie. Oh Effie. She wants to do the off-the-beaten-path things in Europe. She would take a month-long Norwegian fjord cruise and see the midnight sun (which she and Matthew do). She would want to visit Belgium for an entire month (which she and Matthew do). When she learns more about World War Two she wants to spend time in Northern France and visit all the cold, windy D-Day beaches (which she and Matthew do). See the theme in the brackets? Matthew indulges her with whatever she wants while all his buddies are galavanting in the hotter climates because the smile on Effie's face is better than any of that.

Jacob and Geneviève: they could easily spend a month in France, or England (especially considering Geneviève's history in those places), or of course Sweden, but surprise surprise: they also both love Switzerland!

Rasmus and Lusine: Sweden is an obvious one. They go back to Germany a lot because Lusine does really fall in love with the country after her summer abroad. They also really love having hot boy and hot girl summers in Portugal!

What does the summer look like for the SBU couples? What are they getting up to? 🙃

Morgan and Bee: this is the summer Epilogue 1 happens, which means they're getting engaged!!! Beyond that, they are going to be spending some time in Vancouver before taking a quick trip to the East Coast, then getting back to Toronto so they can start work on the house.

Fred and Aleida: they are taking their first family trip to Denmark with Helena. Aleida is a bit nervous to travel with the baby, but Fred made sure to get business class seats. They've both been researching how to keep babies happy on planes.

William and Aberdeen: they're going to Sweden! Epilogue 1, at the very end, sees them in Sweden all the way to August, living out William's dream he told Aberdeen about in Chapter 23.

Elias and Svea: also in Sweden, just like Willy and Aberdeen! They actually meet up in Stockholm a few times to hang out! Other than that, they spend their days in Sundsvall at Elias's apartment fucking like rabbits and enjoying the city.

Brock and Grace: they go to Minnesota to spend some time at Brock's house on the lake. They're also spending a lot of time with his dad. Grace has been keeping an eye on Brock (not in a bad way) ever since he broke down at the end of the season press conference.

Matthew and Effie: Matthew goes back to St. Louis, and Effie works at the bakery. He definitely visits Calgary throughout the summer -- usually a week at a time. He brings Effie back to Lake Louise and Banff for one of those weeks, and they have a great mini-vacation!

Jacob and Geneviève: they're new parents to twin boys! They don't go back to Sweden because babies can't fly until 3-6 months anyway, so Jacob's mom and siblings visit them in Calgary instead.

Rasmus and Lusine: in July, Lusine goes to Berlin for her Summer Abroad program. At the end of it, Rasmus meets her there and they spend a few days in the city together before they go to Uppsala. They meet up with William and Aberdeen too, and much like Elias and Svea, they spend the rest of their days fucking like rabbits and enjoying Stockholm/Uppsala/the Sandin family lake house.

how do all of our favorite couples get ready for a new season?

Let's do a "how they get ready for fall" since that's what we're entering in to! Most are intertwined.

Morgan and Bee: Bee buys a pumpkin spice latte, switches out some of her wardrobe, and calls Aryne, Aleida, Aberdeen, etc. to see when they can all go apple picking and a pumpkin patch.

Fred and Aleida: fall wreath goes on the front door, gets out her fall wardrobe, watches all the fall fashion week shows, tells Fred which weekends they're going apple picking with Bee and Morgan

William and Aberdeen: buys some extra leave-in conditioner since the dryer air affects her hair, puts in William's phone with a one week, three day, two day, one day, six hours, three hours, two hours, and one hour alarms to notify him when they're going apple picking with Morgan and Bee.

Elias and Svea: fuck like rabbits, Svea prepares for the new semester, Elias makes sure to get extra training in, even before training camp

Brock and Grace: Grace opens up registration for her dance classes, organizes all her students, and preps a dance curriculum fit for little kids!

Tyler and Tehilah: Tehilah will prepare for the High Holidays, Tyler doesn't do much besides support Tehilah in the preparations

Matthew and Effie: Effie breaks out the nutmeg and cinnamon and pumpkin and apple, Matthew asks, "Are you going to bake fall-inspired stuff?" and Effie says "Yes" and Matthew pats his stomach in appreciation and says, "I better make more room"

Jacob and Geneviève: fall is always busy for Geneviève because she deals with the afterward of her September issue of her magazine Atomic

Rasmus and Lusine: fuck like rabbits, Lusine prepares for the new semester, Rasmus asks when they can fuck again

Where do all the SBU couples go when they decide to retire from the NHL? Would Elias and Svea or William and Aberdeen consider moving to Sweden full time or doing more of a 50/50 split?

This is a great question, especially for the couples that are dual citizens. I'll go through them all, but in reality, you have to think of it this way: most of the guys retire while their kids are still in school, and most of them have an established life / group of friends etc. in whatever city they're in.

Morgan and Bee: always stay in Toronto / spend summers in Vancouver

Fred and Aleida: stay in Toronto / summers in Denmark and/or Cuba

William and Aberdeen: stay in Toronto / summers in Sweden. When the kids are grown they do more of a 50/50 in Toronto/Sweden

Elias and Svea: stay in Vancouver / summers in Sweden. When Margot is attending university they do a 50/50 split in Vancouver and Sweden.

Brock and Grace: stay in Vancouver / summers in Minnesota.

Tyler and Tehilah: Edmonton!!! With frequent visits to Toronto to see Tehilah's family, but most of their time is in Edmonton

Matthew and Effie: Calgary, with lots of travel to St. Louis

Jacob and Geneviève: Calgary / summers in Sweden

Rasmus and Lusine: Toronto / summers in Sweden

Also the Vegas golden knights apparently drafted a kid named Jack Hughes. What is going on in the world why do people have the same names. Why so talented Hockey players have the same name. In the Alone, Together canon, Morgan and Bee are like a week-ish away from getting engaged sooooooo.....!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone in the SBU is getting their Hot Italian Summer on, it's Elias and Svea. However, they cut it short to head back to Minnesota, where they are needed much, much more.

Okay so we are not going going to discuss how this seems like a bit of a surprise wedding (bc I feel like Fanny would have posted a pic of an engagement ring or wedding planning or something) even though they're having a nice reception which just goes to show ONCE AGAIN how my writing may be cursed bc of course Svea and Elias have a surprise wedding THIS SAME YEAR CANONICALLY!!!!!)

BUT ANYWAYS

Emil and Fanny see Elias and Svea get married in Vancouver and they're all like "Hey we should do that too" so they get planning

And what better year than right after the Vaxjo Lakers win the Swedish League?

So Fanny gets planning

Elias and Svea are not in Sweden for two weeks before Emil and Fanny are like "hey btw we're getting married"

So Svea cries, naturally

So does Elias

And Svea goes to Stockholm to buy a dress because this is her brother and sister-in-law's wedding

The day of the wedding everything is beautiful -- the flowers, the weather, everything

Fanny and Emil get married and Elias cries again

When taking all of the professional photographs Svea is of course included in the "family shots" and that's when it sort of hits her "Oh my God, I'm a Pettersson"

"Lesser halves" LMFAO I love how this is a hockey blog dedicated to various players where I write complex fics and character arcs for them and y'all are completely fixated on the OFC "queens" and not the players 🤣

The Leafs queens (Bee, Aberdeen, and Lusine) are at Auston's place for a New Year's Eve party.

Fred and Aleida are with her family for Helena's first New Year's.

Elias and Brock are unfortunately separated from Svea and Grace due to the games in California, but they FaceTime each other to ring in the New Year.

Matthew and Effie are in the Charity chapter...soooo we all know what they're up to! Same with Jacob and Geneviève.

Gonna pause the sadness and ask, how are the SBU couples doing ? I know with this situation in the NHL it’s so stressful at the moment

I want to say that about a week ago Morgan came home and saw Bee had covered the entire dining table with their financial statements while muttering to herself; she was in the middle of a slight panic attack thinking about how much money Morgan is going to be making on his new contract and, in turn, how much money they will have, how they would save it, invest, it, have it appreciate over time, etc. He had to calm her down with a strong hug and some breathing exercises but they eventually had a long talk that calmed her down.

Fred and Aleida are in the middle of some of her worst bouts of post-partum depression.

Aberdeen is fine -- she's still doing press for her novel, but William's health and safety are always on her mind. She just wants him home all the time tbh, because at least she knows it's safe. A lot of her events got moved to online, so William made sure to make up a nice space for her in the spare room of his place so she can hold her interviews and have it look nice and professional.

Elias and Svea are fucking (what else is new lmfao) but that fucking comes with the fact that the Canucks have been 6-0 since Bruce Boudreau came aboard and Petey moved back to his old stick and started scoring goals again.

Brock and Grace are fine -- they're actually discussing moving in with one another (Brock would move into Grace's place since it's bigger).

Matthew and Effie are technically in the Hope chapter and we're about to hit all the incredible events of Charity!!!!!

Jacob and Geneviève are amazing. I mean, she's pregnant with twins. They're the happiest they can be.
