Personal room rankings:
1 - Sky Islands: D01 2 - Outskirts: A53 3 - Icy Monument: C03 4 - Metropolis: dome 5 - Garbage Wastes: ARTYSCENES 6 - Silent Construct: A40 7 - Looks to the Moon: VISTA 8 - Outer Expanse: WORMPIT 9 - Metropolis: elevatorcab 10 - Suburban Drifts: CAVE01
Extra comment: Dang, only two winners? Sure, why not, I suppose.
Out of all the options, D01 and A53 definitely deserves to win the most, that I cannot deny. However, there are still plenty of other great and iconic rooms to choose from, many of which have actually managed to get real close to that 10%, like dome, ARTYSCENES or VISTA. But I guess being important doesn't automatically translate to having lots of votes, which we have seen multiple times during this showdown.
I really don't have much else to add, but we did get a past GW room, so it's time for a bonus!
And for this one, we've got PIPE10, which some might recognize as a room from one of the Downpour trailers, before they would look it up to double check, and get hit with the realization that they've been duped by PIPE08 being so similar to it…… but such a situation could never ever happen to someone as thorough as me, of course. But yeah, I totally get why this one didn't get enough votes, since it does feel rather generic, especially when you consider that there's another near identical version of it, just a room away. One thing I will give it credit for is how the pipe to the left was actually placed in a way where you'll need to use the abilities of Spearmaster and Artificer to reach it. There's a few other rooms in past GW that were also deigned around their abilities, but that doesn't mean they don't deserve bonus points for it. It's a good habit, and good habits should be encouraged. But even with this is mind, the absolute best I can give it is a 6/10, on the low end. And that's also partially because I didn't really have negative experiences with the acid (but from what I've heard, the majority of the community actually did, so I'm probably just a unique case in that regard).

Personal room rankings:
1 - Five Pebbles: D03 (8/10) 2 - Looks to the Moon: LEG06 (8/10) 3 - Submerged Superstructure: VENT12 (8/10) 4 - Arena Sky Islands: Antenna (8/10) 5 - Outer Expanse: RAIL06 (7/10) 6 - Metropolis: SUBWAY04 (6/10) 7 - Outer Expanse: RUIN09 (6/10) 8 - Metropolis: elevatorcab (5/10) 9 - Outer Expanse: CAVE14 (4/10) 10 - Submerged Superstructure: bitteraerie6 (4/10)
Extra comment: Gotta admit it, D03 is a personal one. Last time lil 4yo cousin came over to do some RW, he pressed the map button right as I was about to stop my flight towards a zapper by grabbing a pole, leading to… well, death. Despite that, I still kept my cool very well, which is something I'm certainly proud of, and now in my brain, the room will permanently be associated with that moment. Its design is also very strong, of course, but that's beyond the point.
As for the list, it has a somewhat mediocre one from today, CAVE14. I wouldn't call it awful or anything, but thanks to its placement, this one's basically never getting used by anyone. If you do end up coming here while backtracking towards the gate (which is the only time where you actually can go here), you will rewarded by a boatload of food… food that the Jungle Leeches of this place just can't wait to drain, as their dry-out timer is being continuosly refreshed by all the water in the nearby rooms. This doesn't necessarily mean that I hate this place (I mean, Jungle Leeches can still be waited out, it just takes a while, is all), but I also don't really love it, so yeah.
To move onto something more exciting, we have the two bonus rooms of today, the first being Jtrap from Submerged Superstructure!
This one has a pretty simple, but also pretty neat idea - let's take an extremely generic and boring room, and put in a bunch of water, as a way to make its gameplay dynamics completely different! This design idea is surprisingly, not as prevalent in Submerged Superstructure as you might think, though I'd blame that on the region being mostly made up of the interiors of an iterator, an area specifically characterized by the fact that its design is nothing like the rest of Rain World. So it comes as no surprise that this room is actually in Bitter Aerie. What I essentially meant by this ramble, is that despite the room sounding like one that would feel uninspired in Submerged, it is actually a breath of fresh air. It is definitely unusable by non-Rivulet Slugcats, but let's be honest, nobody is coming here with them (though it would be for an optimal shortcut for Saint, but I digress). Anyhow, this thing is quite decent, probably on the end of 7/10.
And our second one is C05 from beloved Metropolis! Which is one that I really wouldn't have expected to fail (especially cus I've seen a couple similiar rooms appearing in round 2), buuuuut it had to fight against one of the cool and pretty Outer Expanse shelters, so it was doomed from the start. If I were to describe this one, I'd call it one of the best baseline Metropolis rooms, as it has everything you'd want in one, and nothing else. It is the white bread, the vanilla ice cream, and the Survivor Slugcat of Metro room designs. And you know what? These sorts of things are actually pretty dang good! While I do love my mango/lemon/forest fruit flavored ice cream, and while I do think Gourmand is the GOAT, the classics are the classics for a reason. So this one's an 8/10. As an extra note - the platforming here is also really well done, and hall those Blue Fruits, as well as the Grapple Worm, can be quite awesome, coming in clutch when you just need that one food pip to get an explosive out, or to go from 5 to 6.

Personal room rankings:
1 - Five Pebbles: F03 (8/10) 2 - Challenge #37 Rivulet (8/10) 3 - Five Pebbles: C07 (7/10) 4 - Challenge #17 Hunter (7/10) 5 - Challenge #07 Survivor (7/10) 6 - Metropolis: elevatorcab (6/10) 7 - Arena Farm Arrays: Islands (6/10) 8 - Challenge #29 Artificer (6/10) 9 - Challenge #39 Rivulet (5/10) 10 - Arena Undergrowth: Crawl Space (4/10)
Extra comment: Lots of challenges and arenas here, but unforunately not that many examples of ones I have strong feelings about. A sentiment that seems somewhat common, considering that elevatorcab and F03 took most of the votes.
Granted, those two rooms are indeed pretty decent. F03 is my choice here, which might feel weird, considering how it's an Unfortunate Development room, a subregion that became infamous for a lot of… well, not so great reasons. However, I don't feel like this particular room has the flaws that make the other ones so obnoxious, as you don't really have any unfairly placed Proto DLLs, and staying in the middle is a safe approach that will work, like, 95% of the time. The gravity shifting mechanic is cool, the blind jumps are tense, and the visual + sound design makes for an incredible atmosphere. The room does still have the ability to troll you in a classic UD fashion, like that one time the DLL just happened to be camping in the middle of the lowest screen (the one with the entrance pipe) for no reason whatsoever, but that's rare.
As for the rest, I really don't have too many thoughts on them. Like, elevatorcab is neat I guess, but the devs really didn't do anything unique or interesting with the idea, and the rooms it connects to are just far cooler. Islands is a solid arena, but it being a Farm Arrays one is funny. Looking at the list of arenas in the Wiki, you can clearly tell that the game's creators had absolutely zero ideas for Farm Arrays arenas, and instead we've gotten one that belongs to Sky Islands, and one with the generic RW factory look and feel. They're not bad, they just don't fit FA, especially with how incredibly well most of the Downpour arenas represent the regions they're from (with vanilla also having the Drainage System, Sky Islands and Shaded Citadel ones, for contrast). Challenge #37 and C07 are two solid rooms that I feel like would deserve some votes, though I will admit that they are rather forgettable, despite their competent designs. And Crawl Space sucks cus dark arenas with messy lighting suck, and Challenge 39 is Challenge 39 (Giant Jellyfishes are certainly amongst the less fun and interesting creatures, IMO), but they don't seem to be making it through, so that's good I guess.
