Throwback to a fun day at the Elephant Family Sanctuary in Chiang Mai. Loved these gentle giants as much as they love fudge treats 😊 :::::::::::::: We read up on a number of the options available and chose this one based on the fact that the animals were rescued from performance/working jobs prior. In Chaing Mai, I found a lovely organization called the Elephant Family Sanctuary. It was my first time meeting elephants and they are as sweet as pandas. I fed them, bathed them in mud and got a few elephant kisses. The Elephant Family Sanctuary really knows how to treat these lovely creatures with respect, dignity and compassion. If you're looking for a center focused on elephant protection in Thailand, I highly recommend these guys. Thank you for such a fun and positive experience.
