Thank you for the tags, @daughterofthesunlands and @iwanderbecauseimlost! I am late to the game as usual, in large part because I tend to overthink these types of things, and as of this writing I am still undecided on my second song.

The first is a bit of a non-traditional love song: it's sung from the perspective of a blue canary night light. It's whimsical, weird and nerdy, and I have a weakness for lights in dark places when all other lights go out.

I am still torn between the two choices for my second song. So if @askereiniongilgalad does not mind terribly, I am going to build on his choice* of "Come What May" from Moulin Rouge. It is of course beautiful and the main love theme from an absolutely swoonworthy movie, but I have always had a soft spot for the "Elephant Love Medley", beautifully sold by Ewan's and Nicole's performances.

Is it physically possible to not be at least halfway in love with Christian by the time he ascends to "where eagles fly on a mountain high"? But part of the beauty is that, for me at least, I identify with both Christian and Satine here: Christian's completely earnest and over the top lovefoolery, and Satine's more practical protestations as to why she cant fall in love. It's a damn shame that there doesn't appear to be a video clip of the whole song. The following cuts off the "Heroes" part of the medley, the dazzling "I Will Always Love You" crescendo and then the tender and sweetly hot denoument. So I'll include the OST track below that although I prefer the film version.

*That post appears to have altered my brain chemistry, and I am not complaining..
