so first off a little background info on elena

she comes from a wealthy family

her family was originally from taichung taiwan but got relocated to seoul bc elena’s father sought business opportunities there

when they moved her mother was pregnant so elena was born in seoul

her father died when she was only eight so she hardly remembers him and her mother was forced to raise her by herself.

her mother ended up becoming a successful news anchor here in seoul which fueled elena’s love for journalism even tho her mother doesn’t want her to become one

but she also likes to play sports (mostly tennis) bc she’s a very athletic individual

now with that being said there are two sides to elena. due to coming from a rich family she is really spoiled and often complains and gets upset when things don’t go her way. she likes to use her baby face to get what she wants and get ahead so this smol bean is very manipulative. 

the other side of elena is the hard-working side of her. 

bc she grew up with a single mother who worked her ass of she does work hard and get things done when she wants to lol. this side of elena is also very protective and loyal to her close group of friends.

probably darcy?? only because he fluctuates so much between being harsh and being awkward and being annoyed because HE doesn’t know what he’s doing, so he’s some serious mood whiplash. ithaca is a close second, though, because i’m still feeling my way around what she does and how she feels and how she acts around different people, because she’s a character whose responses 100% depend on who she’s talking to. that being said, tho, i like to think my characters are pretty in-character?? hopefully??
