Do you have HMS-1 and HMS-2 Steel scrap?
EDELSTAHL VIRAT IBERICA is an emerging importer - exporter, supplier of tool steels, mold steels from various countries. We are also engaged in the trade of ferrous, alloy steel, etc., with a network of partners all over the world, we are able to quickly meet customer needs.
HMS-1, HMS-2, and ferrous scrap are terms commonly used in the scrap industry to classify and describe different types of steel and iron scrap. Here's what each of these terms means:
HMS-1 (Heavy Fusion Scrap 1):
HMS-1 is a designation for heavy, bulky scrap, composed primarily of wrought iron and steel.
It typically includes scrap metal from a variety of sources, such as demolished buildings, old machinery, and industrial equipment.
HMS-1 is relatively clean and free of excessive contaminants, making it suitable for recycling into new steel products.
It usually consists of thick and heavy items such as beams, pipes, and plates.
HMS-2 (heavy melt scrap 2):
HMS-2 is another scrap category, but it may contain a slightly higher percentage of contaminants compared to HMS-1.
Includes items such as smaller structural steel parts, miscellaneous steel parts, and lighter gauge materials.
While still suitable for recycling, HMS-2 may require further processing to remove impurities and contaminants before it can be used in steel production.
We are looking for all wholesale scrap metal manufacturers and suppliers such as HMS 1, HMS 2, ferrous scrap, electronic motor scrap and shredded scrap in Portugal…

Yes, he just “accidentally” made a super weapon very much like the one the hero’s evil nemesis that wants to kill them is making. Only his is done first and giving them a low stakes practice run of exactly the skills they need to stop the nemesis version. Which will be easy and not a surprise anymore.
~How it starts is an accident. Really the first time was a fluke that later spawned an idea.~
Danny trying to be retired from hero stuff in this new dimension, but getting the itch to still do something. You can only go so long without a good fight or spar. He just does not really want to go through the trouble of joining a meta gym with all the background checks needed to keep the dangerous people out.
Danny also does not want to admit to his family or friends that they were right and he does need to visit more often. Lastly he really can't lose the bet with Dan about how he could not last a year without becoming a hero again. He really does want to get a good aerospace career here and he is already part way through his first semester.
He ends up channeling his parents and makes his own sparing partner. Just one itty bitty robot to spar with. Nothing too serious just strong enough to get a good workout in his ghost form. He even made sure to put a emergency stop switch on it! The robot is great and getting really good at fighting with each improvement to the coding he has been tweaking after fights. It is just what he needs to burn off energy. Only the Fenton luck eventually strikes.
After one session Danny finishes sparing and turns back human before turning it off and into rest mode like normal. Robot does not compute that the opponent is still there and the spar has stopped. As the ghost signature of a super powered individual has dissipated. It had not been programed to fight humans as a precaution. The robot used to Danny turning intangible and means that the Opponent must be hiding to do a sneak attack. They must search out for them to keep the spar going! It quickly rushes off to search for where the opponent has gone.
Danny turns round to the robot gone. Along with a very obviously off its hinges door that he swore had been locked.
Danny: Oh no. Music station in background stops and a reporter starts speaking: This just in. A killer robot has started to tear apart the city! Danny: No. It can't be my robot they are a sparing robot not a killer robot! Must be another robot one of the villains set to hunt down the local hero. Reporter: The robot appears to be impervious to officers weapons who have tried stopping it.
Danny is able to catch up to the fight after the local hero has already been fighting for a while. Really he would have been there faster but he kept having to go around police cordons and avoid broken streets. Thank the Ancients that he did all those modification on his motorcycle. He arrives just in time to see the robot tanking hits from the hero and start shouting out directions of where the shut off is.
The reporters keeping track of the fight right away split off a camera to start filming the guy on the supped up bike that looks a lot like the robot. Who in a pleasant surprise instead of joining in the attack starts they instead start shouting out how to stop the robot.
Danny: I am so sorry! I don't know what went wrong. It has never gone looking for others to fight!
The robot throws the hero over their shoulder as they try to wrestle them into submission.
Danny: The emergency shut off it on the back shoulder! It is under the plating there.
The fight ends fairly quickly after that. Unfortunately the hero and accidental evil robot creator is just out of range to clearly hear on the mics. Only a few bits come through and the robot creator is still wearing their helmet making it a bit hard to read them.
Danny feels a bit down for the next week after the accidental evil robot event. He almost gives in and start the mountain of paperwork for the meta gym. Then a real killer robot start attacking the city and unlike his it does not pull any punches.
Out of town hero's get called in to rescue people it is that bad right off the bat. Well for the ten minutes until the hero is freed up by this and can fight the robot instead of save people. Then it is over within moments as they go straight into ripping off armour plates before seeming to find what they were looking for and smash something. Turns out yeah, most dangerous robots have some kind of emergency stop. Even the ones by crazy villains need something to stop it rampaging if it goes off too soon. They just put a plate over it so it can't be seen.
Maybe it does not need to stop making sparing robots. Just make sure that if they do get out when stopping them they can be useful test runs for hero's. Not that he plans on them breaking out again at all! Plus it would mean he can really experiment with some of the more crazy ideas he wanted to try fighting but was worried about.
Danny a Rogue in one of DC city, but not the "I'm gonna kill everyone cause' I HATE LIFE !!!" no, he's "Oops, call the hero I accidentaly made a superweapon that I cannot stop (for the third time this week) !"
The Super Hero doesn't know what to do with him and you cann see Danny cheereing from a stand while the hero is battling the thing in a désolation landscape
#dcxdp#dpxdc#danny fenton#danny phantom#Danny accidentally makes a sparing robot that goes searching for the missing opponent#It ends up being a good first evil robot fight for the local hero#his mad scientist parents will be so proud#he scores some real deals at the sketchy electronics and scrap metal shop

been doing research into zero frets on guitars and there's like no information on the one specific thing im looking for.
everything's about whether its helpful with string height but nothing about putting a little space between it and the nut to stick a piece of fabric there to cut down on string noise.
i know many guitars meant for tapping (such as touch guitars and fm guitars) supply fabric to stick behind the first fret, so logically a piece between a nut and a zero fret should also work, correct?
i may make a test version of this as my first attempt at a guitar neck build.
#textpost#pretty much just need some fretwire and some glue because i know where i can get some scrap wood for a shitty neck#ive got a few pickups and a bunch of potientometers sitting around so the electronics are taken care of#then all i need is a bridge and some tuning pegs#but those are cheap

if we could stop reinventing the Torment Nexus for at least a few days.....
it is also mildly funny (in a sad way) how much imagination all them techbros lack. They all just keep recycling decades-old Very Specific SciFi. not even tropes, but straight up already existing works, with names and titles and authors....
oh right, exactly like their "AI" plagiarism machines
My god my girlies
MY GIRLIES. I am still crying, I am still crying about this. Every day I cry about this.
You bitched so hard about being forced to read 1984 in school when it’s so problematic (tm)
Maybe you should have actually paid attention when you read it
Because all these AI fics
You are LITERALLY MAKING THE GARBAGE NOVELS FROM 1984 that are written by machines
You have literally recreated the worthless soulless machine-made books
Literally,
Literally. Every once in a while it hits me in a fresh wave of disbelief and anger. You have literally created the dystopian book from the dystopian story about why dystopia is bad, and you are passing it around like it’s this amazing thing. I’m crying, I’m crying.
#its not a very elegant description of the thing#but this exact idea been swirling in my head for a few years now#this isn't like seeing a vague rectangle in a 1930s serial and inventing a touchscreen iPad#or reading about a sub-ether updating large electronic calculator on screen of which any “pages” could be summoned and creating a Kindle#this is seeing a fully automated SmartHome in a 1960s novel and forcing your overworked underpaid engineers to create an exact replica#while you place your own name in Giant Letters on it claiming its your own original idea and concept and you personally built it#In a cave. From a box of scraps.#boring af dystopia

What is hms1 and hms2 scrap metal? What is the Scope of Scrap Metal Recycling in #Portugal and #Europe?
Scrap metal recycling is the process of collecting, sorting, processing, and selling scrap metal for reuse in various industries. #HMS1 and #HMS2 are types of heavy melting steel scrap that are widely traded and used for steel production.
HMS1 does not contain galvanized and blackened steel, whereas HMS2 does. They are usually sold as a blend of 80% HMS1 and 20% HMS2, or lower grade mixes.
The latest information about scrap metal recycling HMS1, HMS2 scope in Portugal and Europe are:
The scrap metal recycling market in Europe is expected to grow at a CAGR of 7.8% during the forecast period of 2020-2026, due to the increasing demand for steel products, the environmental benefits of recycling, and the government policies and regulations.
Portugal is one of the major scrap metal exporters in Europe: Mainly to Spain, Turkey, and India. In 2020, Portugal exported 1.2 million tonnes of scrap metal, worth 372 million euros3. One of the leading scrap metal recycling companies in Portugal is RVO, Lda (unidade 2), which is located in Olaia, Torres Novas.
The scrap metal recycling industry in Europe faces some challenges: Such as the fluctuation of the international scrap metal prices, the competition from other regions, the quality and quantity of the scrap metal supply, and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The scrap metal recycling industry in Europe needs to adopt more advanced technologies, improve the efficiency and safety of the recycling processes, and diversify the sources and markets of the scrap metal.

absolute dvd player odyssey still not over
second, less bulky scart to hdmi converter cable arrived, the power cord is too short to plug it into the outlet 🙃
now to find a longer micro USB to USB cable and a charging block to go into the outlet...
#at this point it'd be cheaper to buy a completely new dvd player that doesn't need any converters to work with current TVs lmao#also turns out my father didn't buy that dvd player but actually dug it up from the remaining pile of scrap electronics#because he used to dumpster dive 20+ years ago. repair and resell on ebay whatever he found. etc.#and that dvd player is from those times apparently. huh. makes sense it only has a scart connection. was the standard back then.

a box of electronic scrap
Once, in a post-pre-pandemic era not long ago, I became obsessed with electronics. It was likely the result of my success with fixing my 3DS, a stressful operation involving opening its casing and such.
(When I tried to fix the family's Wii, however, I didn't exactly have as much success...)
Looking into the internals of everything empowered me to start collecting electronic scrap. You know, for epic scrap-sourced electromagnet railguns and cool shit like that.
Unfortunately, none of my projects of that nature have come to fruition. Not even a magnet-powered instrument I conceptualized last summer ever saw the light of day.
That box of scrap holds what remains of a radio that was once so dear to summer gatherings at my grandma's house. The cousins would all gather to play Wiffle ball while most of the adults sat under the porch awning and listened to music or the game on that radio.
One of my bigger regrets is taking that radio apart so carelessly. Even though it was already broken by the time it'd come into my care, I kinda wish I hadn't snipped the ribbon cords just to get a better look at the internals.
Part of me feels like I had a moral obligation to fix that radio, since it's a remnant of dear memories of the past.
In its current state, the circuit boards are carelessly shoved back into the shell of the stereo, waiting to be renewed in some way, shape, or form.
But until I can get my hands on the right cable bundles and such, it'll have to remain as a box of scrap.
Here's to the hope that one day this radio might be renewed, to reinvigorate that grainy radio-sound that so lovingly hallmarked those memorable summer evenings of a more innocent era.
Cheers!
