A bunch of OCs I doodled out for the purpose of an RP, the Damned PMD RP ahaaa
Eleanor the Albino Roserade. Being albino she has to stay at home almost all the time, only going on on rainy days or at night, is a writer by occupation and painter by hobby.
Aerilyn the Mismagius, an ex-human, died the death of a witch and got reincarnated into the world
Mellow the Mawile, a bit of a yandere, died and got reincarnated into the world, currently obsessed with an Absol who won’t ever return her feelings because he’s aromatic
The rest are legendaries, Hisahana the Shaymin, serious but kind. Lavandula the Celebi, very sleepy and wishes for universal peace. Celeste the Jirachi, very childish and mischievious.

Last Line Game
tagged by @leaiorganas ! I’ll see if this can even come close to how good your line was!!!!
Rule: post the last line you’ve written and tag as many people as there words in that line.
(I went for the SW draft on my computer although I can’t tell if I edited that last or if I edited my soft stucky fic last)
With the saber to his face, Kylo Ren divides; Ben Solo multiples in the chasm, reaches up from the darkness and whispers: “...Rachel?”
(This is from “The Last of the Skywalkers” aka the SWST rewrite I really need to just finish and stop fretting over — basically the plot of TFA and TLJ is the same except Rey is confirmed as Han/Leia’s lost daughter and she has to face her beloved brother in the final battle in EpIX.)
Im cheating and counting BS and KR as one word each, so that’s 21! Meep! Wish me luck
@aimmyarrowshigh @therebeccaw @supremequeenofthenerds @brightboisterousbananas @batuuprincess @branlovestowrite @i-said-goddameron @imsfire2 @masd-1138 @deliciously-difficult @damerey-4-me @orlesiantitans @broedym @thewintersoldierdisaster @possibleplatypus @starlight-and-seafire @moonandstars020 @bouquet-roserade
Okay that’s 18 but I always get worried that some people aren’t actively writing and I don’t want to stress anyone out tagging them and if I did tag you don’t worry if you aren’t writing anything right now or don’t want to share! I just panic tagged some people whose thoughts I enjoy!
Also, if you’re a writer for a good hearty ship I love (damerey, stucky, kastle, FinnRey, Jedistormpilot, hanleia, rebelcaptain, CaptainSwan, Aziraphale/Crowley, Chidi/Eleanor, Korrasami, etc) Pls hop over to my inbox and lmk of your delightful fics // if you’d like to be tagged in things!

Alright, I have reached the League in Platinum.  We’re going in.  I’ll be doing one long post again, instead of the breakdown per character, to avoid cluttering Dashboards.  The team:
Eleanor the Dusknoir (Brave, lv 60).  Elemental Punches and Shadow Punch.  I had wanted Trick Room, but can’t find a justification to remove any of the coverage.
Cadence the Chimecho (Modest, lv 58).  Extrasensory, Shadow Ball, Charge Beam, Hidden Power.
Florence the Cherrim (Timid, lv 58).  Solarbeam, Hidden Power Fire, Leech Seed, Sunny Day.
Arianne the Floatzel (Rash, lv 58).  Surf, Waterfall, Ice Beam, Crunch.
Perrine the Gliscor (Careful, lv 57).  Earthquake, Rock Slide, Aerial Ace, Swords Dance.
Melanie the Skuntank (Naive, lv 56).  Night Slash, Poison Jab, Flamethrower, Strength.
As always, I don’t use items during the match, but will heal up between matches.  If a Pokemon faints, however, they’re out for good.
First up is Aaron, a guy who claims to be Bug, but whose main I am certain is Drapion.  I decided to lead with Perrine, since I’m not taking any chances early on, and Rock/Ground coverage should clear this entire team.  I was confidence the Yanmega lead was Speed Boost, unfortunately I had guessed Protect and tried to boost first, so it got two Air Slash on me.  Thankfully, one Swords Dance let Perrine absolutely demolish his team.  That said, I’m pleasantly surprised by his spread.  Scizor was terrifying, I wasn’t sure we could OHKO, and Heracross covers the Rock/Ground coverage that’s so good against the rest of his team.  Gliscor is just a surprisingly hard counter.  I also really enjoy Air Slash/Speed Boost Yanmega as a lead.  That’s pretty nasty.
Next up is Bertha.  I always kinda liked Bertha.  Anyway, this is Florence’s time to shine.  Gliscor was scary.  Fire Fang as I set sunlight, I am astonished we didn’t die.  Once sun was set, though, Solarbeam took it down.  And took down everything else.  I didn’t feel like messing with Hippowdon.  I could feel something was up, and we were too low on HP and Sandstorm was active.  I swapped over to Arianne.  Turns out, I was right to do so.  Stone Edge crit.  That would’ve killed Florence, but Arianne survived and got the KO with Surf.  So far so good.
Next up is Flint, who has always been my least favorite.  I think Diamond and Pearl made me mad at him.  Fire-type Elite Four, but only two Fire types out of the five.  Pathetic.  Anyway, Platinum has more options, so I confidently lead with Arianne.  We take out four of his Pokemon with Waterfall alone, but Flame Body procs with Magmortar, so it wasn’t a perfect run.  Still, I’m disappointed.  At least he has all Fire types, but come on.  It’s kinda like Volkner, just a stream of the same type, all easy to handle with a counter.
Now for the asshole.  Lucian is a pain in my ass every time.  Anyway, I decide to go Eleanor.  Maybe it’s a mistake, but I feel like she can take him.  Unfortunately, my decision to not play Trick Room comes to bite me instantly, as Mr. Mime uses Reflect.  Uphill battle from turn one.  Thankfully Shadow Punch still OHKO’d.  Espeon has Shadow Ball, and got the lucky Sp. Def. drop.  So that’s bad.  Eleanor is basically dead on her feet when it arrives.  That fucking Bronzong.  I switched to Florence.  He got a crit with Gyro Ball, and evaded my Leech Seed the first time, necessitating a second.  So that’s great, two Calm Minds for his special defense.  If this could be going any worse...  I swap to Skuntank.  Thankfully, I got it right, Psychic.  I opt for Night Slash.  While not as strong, it seems the safest option.  It knows Earthquake.  Of course.  God dammit, Lucian.  Only half damage, and a bit of Leech Seed healing keeps us alive, but wow, we have three injured Pokemon and he’s only half done.  Alakazam’s next, and I briefly entertain the idea of switching before realizing that would be a disaster and stay put.  Focus Blast hits, and Skuntank lives with 17 HP.  That...was scary.  But now it’s worse, because we’re staring down Gallade.  In the possibly worst call, I switch to Perrine.  He hits with Stone Edge, because misses don’t happen for him.  Thankfully, I have a Flying move with Aerial Ace.  Unfortunately, it survives.  But a second one finishes it.  Four severely injured Pokemon, but no deaths.  What a painful fight.
But not nearly as bad as the ultimate being.  God, Cynthia is such a badass, I love her.  I decide to lead Florence.  I know, I know, risky business with the Milotic, but I really don’t have a good lead against Spiritomb, so I have to trust in this game plan.  I go for Leech Seed to get some passive damage and healing, and plan to switch to Skuntank next tu-oh god she knows Silver Wind.  OH GOD SHE GOT THE BOOST.  FUCK, IT’S TURN ONE AND WE’RE ALREADY ON RED ALERT.  Okay, switch to Skuntank and another Silver Wi-IT GOT IT AGAIN, FUCK ME.  I try twice to poison with Poison Jab.  No dice.  I try to finish it before Full Restore can be used with Night Slash.  It survives.  Skuntank goes down.  DOING GREAT, GUYS.
At this point, it’s full-on red alert, I go straight to Perrine and start the Swords Dance boost as she Full Restores.  I get to the second, and find out Shadow Ball absolutely trucks through Perrine’s weaker special defense.  That Careful nature isn’t saving you for shit, girl.  I take the shot with Earthquake.  And it hangs on by a thread, and gets a KO with Psychic.  We are so, so fucked.
I bring in Florence, and to my surprise, she doesn’t heal again.  Spiritomb gets a shot off as I set up Sunny Day, but we’re not dead.  A small victory, but I count it.  Togekiss comes in.  I can’t beat that.  I try to Leech Seed.  It evaded the attack.  Why?
I bring in Cadence, realizing that we really cannot bring in the other two right now, and...oof.  Togekiss outspeeds.  And knows Air Slash. She gets a flinch on the second hit, and now Cadence is down.  If this could get any worse, it’d be a miracle.  But Arianne can...oh my god id only dealt like half damage with Ice BEam, and she nearly killed me in one shot with Shock Wave.  Good god, why is this happening?  Roserade’s in, Ice BEam does shit-all, and Arianne is down.  Only Eleanor remains.  She wins, but not before taking some damage.
Lucario hits Stone Edge, because I haven’t suffered enoguh.  Fire Punch doesn’t even one-shot.  Another full restore as I punch again, and no luck.  Also it knows Shadow Ball.  And got the special defense drop.  And to end the match, Milotic got a crit on Ice Beam.
I have never experienced such intense bad luck in a match before.  Christ.

Pokemon: Swellow
Matt’s classmate at the Rustboro School and his frequent companion. She is a diligent and responsible student who has a thirst for knowledge and often has to help Matt mind himself. Eleanor Laplace
Voiced by: Tiffany Grant
Pokemon: Alolan Persian, Rotom, Litwick
An engineer from Orsay City in Kalos, who has traveled to La Ciudad Dorada to see its Arcane Science technology. She has a talent for understanding how machines work, which she puts to use working at the same shop in her hometown at which she first discovered her love of machines. Despite this and her hobby of designing her own clothing, she feels cut off from people and fears that they don’t notice her and will forget her.
Sheena Carnet
Voiced by: Carrie Keranen
A Tenganist priestess who is the guardian of the shrine at Michina Town in Sinnoh. She has traveled to La Ciudad Dorada as part of a pilgrimage to learn more about the history of her people, and gets caught up in the conflict over the Golden City.
Count Fernando VIII
Voiced by: Bryce Papenbrook
A member of La Ciudad Dorada’s royal family; son of King Fernando VII and Queen Sophia and brother to Rosalita. He is very concerned about the potential threats coming to the city from outside, and requests Matt’s assistance in locating the Golden City so it and the rest of La Ciudad Dorada can be protected. He uses his influence to act as a patron of the Doradan theater, believing that it can help inform people about the kingdom’s history and make them appreciate it more.
Rosalita
Voiced by: Elizabeth Maxwell
Pokemon: Leavanny, Staraptor, Bibarel, Rapidash, Shiftry, Luxray
Fernando VIII’s sister. Unlike her brother, she believes that La Ciudad Dorada should be more connected to the outside world and should undergo reforms. She is a driven young woman who fights for what she believes in whenever possible. Her interests include astronomy and riding her Rapidash.
Noel and Leon
Voiced by: Erica Mendez (Noel), Christopher Sabat (Leon)
Pokemon: Alolan Muk (Noel), Palossand (Leon), Kommo-o, Dusknoir, Probopass, Electivire, Magmortar, Lickilicky, Yanmega, Togekiss, Tangrowth, Honchkrow, Roserade (shared)
A sister/brother team of street toughs from the Orre region. In order to survive, they turned to a life of thievery and became mercenary Pokemon Hunters. They dream of accomplishing one big score that will get them enough money to live comfortably for the rest of their lives, and have acquired Pokemon and technology to help in reaching that goal. Their close bond motivates them to work harder for each other.
Sutter Chiaki
Voiced by: Kent Williams
Matt’s grandfather, and a famous explorer and archeologist who rose to prominence after documenting the Mamoswine species. He served as a mentor to both Matt and Amanda during their time at the Rustboro School, where he held a teaching post later in his life, and desired for them to inherit his work.
Amanda Chiaki
Voiced by: Kate Bristol
Matt’s sister, who was born with weak legs that left her unable to walk and was later blinded in an accident.
The Wanderer
Voiced by: Dan Green
Pokemon: Lucario, Golisopod
A nomadic Tenganist warrior priest originally from the Ransei region. During his travels he planted the first Gracidea flower on the Sacred Hill in order to save the people of the land that would become La Ciudad Dorada.
Laura
Voiced by: Lisa Ortiz
Pokemon: Swampert
A former champion of the Hoenn League who now enjoys traveling the world. She visits La Ciudad Dorada looking to participate in the Alliance Battle, a Doradan tradition in which teams of three trainers face each other in tag-team Single Battles. Her friend and partner, Swampert, can Mega Evolve using the Key Stone and Swampertite they wear on their respective necklaces.
King Fernando VII and Queen Sophia
Voiced by: Travis Willingham (Fernando VII), Laura Bailey (Sophia)
Fernando VIII and Rosalita’s parents, and the previous king and queen of La Ciudad Dorada.
Shaymin
Voiced by: Apphia Yu
The Pokemon that appeared in response to the outpouring of gratitude the residents of La Ciudad Dorada gave after the Gracidea flower was planted. Its long life and role guiding the royal family on the path of gratitude has given it the responsibility of observing and guarding the kingdom’s history, but it hides a secret. Normally, it has a timid personality, but when exposed to a Gracidea flower, it transforms into its Sky Forme, a courageous warrior with the ability to fly. Both forms have a dignified attitude. In its Land Forme, it often ends sentences with “yes?,” while in Sky Forme is usually ends sentences in “you!”
Regigigas
The guardian who sleeps inside the Golden City. Where it came from and why is unknown, but the ancient people of La Ciudad Dorada built the Golden City as a tribute to it. When the kingdom falls off its righteous path and loses its gratitude for what it has, Regigigas awakens and carries out a terrible judgment against those who have lost their way until they see the error of their ways. It has the ability to manipulate Gaia, and used this power to shape Regirock, Registeel and Regice.
Regirock, Registeel and Regice
The three Pokemon given life by Regigigas, known as the “Three Pillars” in Doradan legend. They dwell in secret locations and await the kingdom’s future ruler, who must gather their energy to prove their worth for the throne.
Heatran
A legendary Pokemon that is said to be the living soul of the volcano in which it lives. Though it acts as a leader of Noel and Leon’s army, it is not controlled by a collar like all their other Pokemon, instead being manipulated by a machine using the Magma Stone from its home volcano.

Alright, post-game League in Platinum time.  Let’s go.
Perrine the Gliscor, level 72 (Careful)
Arianne the Floatzel, level 72 (Rash)
Melanie the Skuntank, level 73 (Naive)
Cadence the Chimecho, level 73 (Modest)
Florence the Cherrim, level 74 (Timid)
Eleanor the Dusknoir, level 75 (Brave)
The only change to moves was giving Cadence Energy Ball, now that we found that TM.
Aaron vs. Gliscor.  Thank god that first Rock Slide hit.  Too bad it somehow didn’t KO.  Yeah, I don’t know either.  But it didn’t, and I’m shitting bricks turn 1.  We got a nice flinch chance, but Speed Boost is going to put us in the ground.  Swords Dance on the Full Restore, thank god I get Double Team, so Aerial Ace bypasses the check.  Only Scizor survived a single attack at that point, hanging on after Earthquake.  Which is fairly expected.
Bertha!  While it’s probably a mistake to send in Cherrim, I decide this is the only time the poor thing ever gets to be useful and go for it anyway.  Whiscash is no big deal, and we get sunlight set on it.  Unfortunately, I do remember the main issue we ran into last time.  Gliscor is a pain.  Fire Fang is a bigger pain.  And just like last time, Solarbeam isn’t a clean OHKO.  Golem comes in, and the sunlight fades, which means I can’t stay around because it definitely has Fire Punch.  I decide to go to Chimecho.  Yes, it might take a bit more than Floatzel, who resists, but on the off chance of something stupid like Explosion, I’d rather Chimecho go down than Floatzel, who is still very needed for later matches.  Golem’s no trouble, but of course Hippowdown knows Yawn.  And decides to spam it relentlessly.  I can’t keep taking chip damage, so after switching around trying to avoid Yawn, I give up and let Cadence get hit.  And now, Rhyperior, who is a huge pain.  Thank god, Megahorn misses my Floatzel.  Thankfully, despite Sand and Sturdy Rock, Surf OHKOs.  No deaths.
And now, the reason I didn’t want to let go of Floatzel.  Flint is a bunch of fairly frail Fire types, and Floatzel has 115 base speed and a Splash Plate.  Houndoom, Infernape, and Rapidash are all OHKO’d by Waterfall in rapid succession.  Magmortar is a higher level, but Surf is a clean OHKO as well.  And Flareon...Yeah, you know how that goes.  So great, a complete sweep of all five of his Pokemon, no damage.  Flint, git gud, please.  There has to be some kind of trick he can pull that I just never see because Floatzel.
And now for this asshole.  Lucian is easily the most obnoxious of the Elite Four, I hate him so much.  Skuntank is going to maybe take two.  It takes down Mr. Mime in one shot, because Night Slash good, but as always, then there’s Bronzong.  I play like a moron and stay in.  Sure enough, Flamethrower wouldn’t 2HKO even if we didn’t have him Calm Mind.  Night Slash also doesn’t crit, so great.  Florence jumps in, ready to Leech Seed.  Unfortunately, it gets up to 3 Calm Minds.  I really don’t have the option of switching at this point.  It uses Psychic, and does more than half her HP.  Maybe I do need to switch then.  Back to Skuntank, who is immune to Psychic.  It’s also in range of Night Slash, so that’s a relief.  I further play like a moron and stay in on Alakazam, knowing about Focus Blast.  Thankfully, we actually get lucky for once and it misses.  Night Slash is a one-shot.  Espeon is a bit scary, but Night Slash continues to devastate.  This is the best Skuntank’s ever done.  Gallade is tough, and I make the call to go Dusknoir.  Right into Stone Edge, which only deals like 60 damage.  Tank master.  Shadow Punch finishes the job in one.  So, despite him usually being the worst part of this run, that...actually wan’t too bad.  We got lucky with the Focus Miss, and despite Bronzong doing what it do, we managed to win without much damage.
Having learned from past mistakes, that Spiritomb does not, in fact, pack Will-o-Wisp and is all-out offensive, so I go in with Skuntank, ready to throw down with something that resists most of its moves.  No Silver Wind bullshit this time, just two Night Slashes and a Poison Jab to win it.  As before, she goes straight to Garchomp.  Like an absolute buffoon, I think I can outspeed it.  Skuntank is dead immediately.  Like an idiot, I think Floatzel’s Ice Beam can one-shot.  I am not dead, but I may as well be.  Roserade’s in, and after weighing somem decisions carefully, I decide that yes, Floatzel has to go down.  Good thing too.  I almost swapped to Dusknoir as it used Shadow Ball.  That would’ve been embarrassing.
Gliscor’s Aerial Ace takes it down, and I get what I wanted.  Milotic is baited.  Florence switches in...hey, did you know that Milotic had Ice Beam?  And that it deals HALF?  So that’s fun.  In a surprise twist, Cynthia got cocky.  I survived and got Leech Seed with only 6 HP, and the next turn she thought Surf would KO.  But I have Sunny Day and a resistance.  So we get that set up, and she deals maybe 12 damage.  Solarbeam annihilates it in response.  Unfortunately, now the hard part begins.
I honestly think Togekiss is her toughest Pokemon.  I get Leech Seed on it.  No way is Florence KOing this thing.  Gliscor comes in, and we’re prepared to Rock Slide cheese.  We actually get a nice flinch.  Twice, even.  Leech Seed damage supplements our actual damage, which wouldn’t have 2HKO, and Gliscor wins it.  Only Lucario remains.  Earthquake is sufficiently strong to take it down.
That...actually went better than I expected it would.  Like a lot better.  We got a bit lucky with Focus Miss, Megahorn miss, two flinches on Togekiss, and Cynthia getting overconfident in Surf taking out my Cherrim.  While there were some luck shenanigans, I say this is earned.
So, the whole game is done once again.  I liked this team a lot.  Dusknoir is hilariously tanky, and having all elemental punches is still my favorite way to play a game.  Gliscor is disgustingly good in this game.  It’s so strong.  So is Floatzel, actually.  Outspeeding all of Flint’s team with ease makes it a really good counter to him and Bertha in one slot.  I really enjoyed getting to run Cherrim.  I don’t know if I’d necessarily do it again, but it really is enjoyable to run these sets that otherwise I wouldn’t touch.  Skuntank was a little bit underwhelming overall, but it can seriously pull its weight.  Definitely a fun team.
With this, I must consider the next game to play.  A part of me wants to try HGSS, but I haven’t been able to focus on those for a while now.  I also considered...Pokemon Y.  But like.  Am I really up for Gen 6?  I don’t know.  We’ll see what I pick up next, but this was a good one to pick up this summer.  Pokemon Platinum is always a good time.
