she asked once why they couldn’t move the machine somewhere warm, somewhere sea spray doesn’t drip down from the rafters. she asked why they came here in the first place, and woke up to a padlock on the attic’s trapdoor. they’re gonna notice she broke it.

U GOTTA BRING ME BACK, the dot writes; fast and then slow, sparse and then cramped in the dwindling mirror space. moire tilts her head.

“from where?”

the red hesitates. moire knocks her foot against the mirror’s, hardly disappointed. it never answers that one. “it’s alright,” she sighs. “can tell me when ye get here.”

the glass is webbed over with words, every stroke a cut-apart-portrait: flannel, freckles, sharp cut shoulder. the blood red fingertip draws a smile in the last free space, and moire smiles softly back.

TERROR: Fears/phobias

Soap doesnt have a lot of Traditional fears because by nature of their anatomy theyre pretty god damned hard to kill. Soap’s biggest fear is probably Girls, who soap views presumably in the same way that prehistoric humans viewed fire

RIGHTEOUS: Their emotional/moral weak spots

Soap is one big emotional and moral weak spot. They’re in many aspects a doormat and won’t say no to someone who offers them affection and attention. They could be pushed into doing pretty seriously fucked up stuff without too much difficulty. It also doesn’t help that they think they’re very stupid and so immediately defer to the knowledge of the people around them as being more correct

Genuine, heartfelt compliment. It’s why it keeps getting taken aback by Ivanya, it’s not used people taking its insults/remarks as “aw how cute”. It does its best to like, hide its feeling under layers of sarcasm and fake ego (see: any conversation with misha) but make no mistake, it is screaming internally.

SHAME: Guilty pleasures

Enjoying other people’s company. Like, Reagan doesn’t have the personality to be embarrassed about its interests, it’s too good at putting on fake confidence and it’s too genuinely unbothered by other people’s opinions, but actually enjoying being around people? Bullshit it would never.

5 movies you would watch if you wanted a better understanding of their character 

oof this was hard because I don’t share a lot of reagan’s taste in movies surprisingly and a lot of movies have a too-human element that make them hard to apply to reagan but let’s go!

1. Sinbad: Legend of the Seven Seas (2003). Eris is such an inspiration for Reagan that’s who it wants to be! Mega powerful bitch unbothered by human morality who is just out to have a good time. Also she’s hot. 

2. The Powerpuff Girls (1998). Accidentally purposefully created beings who are powerful enough to defeat their enemies and protect their loved ones is definitely a bit of a power fantasy for Reagan (also dad-daughter relationships are soooo important to it). Plus Buttercup? The Rowdy Ruff Boys? The Gangreen gang? Him? Mange? Formative.

3. Pan’s Labyrinth (2006). This is admittedly a bit of a filler but also the aesthetic is spot on and mortal who is actually princess of the underworld and has a throne and powers once she can escape her human body and prove her bloodline? Very relevant very something Reagan dreams (feat. Reagan booing when she had to sacrifice herself rather than spilling the blood of the innocent, but humans. what can u do.)

4. Romeo + Juliet (1996). Romeo and Juliet is far from Reagan’s favourite Shakespearean play but the directive choices in this movie are essential to Reagan’s love of plays and theatre. It really shows of that the script is a foundation not a box! A play is only limited by the director and actors! Make serious plays ridiculous! Make them anachronistic! Go wild with them! Theatre is a place for drama and creativity dammit!

5. Little Shop of Horrors (1986). I have never seen this movie but it speaks to me as something that Reagan would love. It combines horror and comedy and musicals and fun and the Big Bad is just trying to survive but is also something about an asshole like c’mon!

Other considered movies included: Heathers (obviously but the movie isn’t a musical and Audrey II is slightly more relevant to Reagan than JD), Beetlejuice, Ocean’s 11/8, St Trinians and Bladerunner (but both Reagan and I hate that movie with a passion)

5 formative fictional/celebrity crushes

I had most of this list done and then realised that formative is different to current ffffffffff

1. As mentioned before ERIS and I’m also putting Maleficent on the same line or else this entire list will be animated villains

2. Morticia Adams (Also Wednesday Adams when it was 12-14)

3. Most of the male-character cast of Takarazuka but notable mentions include Rio Asumi and Ryo Tamaki

4. Eve Salvail

5. Uhhhh Jim Hawkins (Misha voice: we could’ve had it allll)

This was like, ridiculously hard and I’m bot happy with this final list but its the best I can come up with I spent like three fucking hours on this and I’m done! Reagan is too fucking picky!
