oh shit that's a good question. hm. canonically it's not weird. with the context of my layout, it is. let's keep it at eldigurd since they are similar with different flavors of PAIN AND SUFFERING.

Normally, Eldigan had a rather serious demeanor, but now that Sigurd was looking more closely, he could see a soft kindness shining in his eyes beneath that exterior. Sigurd took his hand, and Eldigan helped him up easily, gracefully even, sunlight glinting across his golden hair as they moved. Sigurd hadn’t noticed before how nice his smile was, or the sharpness of his jawline.  

“Are you alright? Did you hit your head?” Eldigan asked, expression shifting to one of concern. It was then Sigurd realized he’d been staring, holding on to Eldigan’s steady arms longer than he needed.
